They came through for us in a pinch on NYE. No one else was open after 9 pm and we were starving. The staff was so friendly & nice. We were able to pick up our order within less than 20 minutes. I grew up with Breezy's and I have to say, after having pizza all over the world, including the two countries that have the best (Italy and Japan), Breezy's is still a favorite. I did a search for Aliquippa... where i'm from and the first think I see is Breezy's. Now what is more Aliquippa then that? Having left the country over 20 years ago, it's nice to see familiar establishments when I come home to visit. There is nothing worse then coming home to find an entire community bulldozed to make way for a Target or soemthing like that. But Breezy's is still going strong! They're pizzas aren't like the typical round american pizza. But their thick and square. One of those puppies pilled high with cheese and toppings. If you can eat more then 3 of those bad boys... then you must have a second stomach to fill up. cause they're really filling. Keep on! Awesome Cash only pizza shop in Aliquippa. This is the 3rd business I adore in this neighborhood. Square pizzas to order by the slice. Delicious and cooked to be crispy and light. Steak hoagie was also very good. I highly recommend this shop. It's not near the city, in its own beautiful town, but my wife and I drove 25 minutes to give it a try and now that I know it's there, I won't hesitate to revisit. read more

Growing up on Breezy's and Police Station pizza has made me cynical of others. However there are other good places around with different styles. But Breezy's is what I call home. A Pizza shop named after Lynryd Skynyrd's "Call Me the Breeze" HAS to kick some ass. Git aht yer Van Zant shirt n'at. Breezy's will not disappoint. Breezy's claim to fame is their Sicilian pizza...thick doughy crust, crispy at the edges. A bright red sweet tomato sauce and gooey cheese. Don't waste you time with toppings, you'll just be gilding the lily. Perfect accompaniment to a demo derby after party, doobie induced munchies or a Bevis and Butthead marathon. And, give it up to standing up for the proletariat....when Little Ceasars opened up a shop directly in front of Breezy's, the owners posted a huge banner reading, "Just Say NO to Chain Pizza". For the most part, I'm a thin-crust pizza guy. There are very few places (in fact, there's only one place) I will go for thick-crust pizza...this place is truly special. You see, most thick-crust tends to get quite soggy, and the only thing you seem to taste is mushy bread. I don't know how they do it here, but they manage to retain all the crispiness of a thin pizza without turning the crust into a pumice cleaning stone. The sauce is a simple, sweet pizza sauce, and the amount of cheese is just right. Simple, classic Sicilian-style pizza is what you are going to get here, just like Nonna used to make, except these guys won't be saying, "You need to eat some more.
