This pizza is the best in Beaver County! The cheese, the sauce, the crust: in that order! It is a huge Beaver County tradition! Even the smell, when you walk inside, will intoxicate you with double the hunger! I grew up eating this pizza and have never even tasted anything remotely compared to it! After 25 years of travelling and living in four different countries (the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada), Breezy's is in my top three favorite pizza places...and I make it a point to find the best pizza in any city I visit (over 150 and counting....in 52 countries). Maybe I am biased because it was my hometown pizza place it really is that good and worth trying if you are in the Pittsburgh/Beaver County area (as opposed to say Primantis)-- they should show people eating pizza at Breezy's during commercial breaks of the Steelers games instead. There is no typical pizza joint in Manhattan (lived there over 8 years) that can hold a candle to Breezy's so I would rank it as one of the top in the U.S. It has a special taste in particular the sauce which can often be very bland (just got to NYC). Bonci's Pizza in Rome is still the best I have ever had with several places in Tokyo in the top five. So why has it been so good?-- most likely due to the consistency of making the same thing in the same way over and over again. They have been making the same pizza, sauce, etc. for a long time so why ruin a good thing. The pizza tastes the same as it did after a Friday night high school football game in 85'.... read more

My favorite square pizza in Quip, and probably all of the Pittsburgh area. Awesome crust, high quality cheese, simple and perfect. I've been eating Breezy's since I was a kid (over 30 years) and I've maybe had bad pizza here once. It's ALWAYS on point, and never lets you down. OK, let me preface this review by stating I am from Jersey and might have expected Philly or NY style pizza. It's all good as far as I'm concerned. Breezy's was very friendly and we ordered a full sheet of slices (8). The sauce was very good.. there could have been more cheese but what was on it was adequate and very tasty. The crust wasn't as crispy as I would have liked but found it wonderfully crispy when I re-heated leftover slices in the toaster oven. All in all, it was nothing like the pizza I grew up on but I've got to admit, it was tasty. I haven't tried pizza anywhere else in the area, so I have nothing local to compare it to. Please give Breezy's a try and don't let my review dissuade you. It's just not what I had hoped for. read more

I'm not quite sure what people in Aliquippa were smoking when all these pizza shops opened up, but expensive, square, cafeteria quality (if that!) slices of pizza that you pay $1 each square for one topping is not my idea of good pizza. We were hoping Breezy would be different... better... edible! Sadly, it was not. Overpriced, tasteless cafeteria type cardboard dough, too sweet sauce, cheese that doesn't even really melt, but keeps it's shredded appearance... the list goes on and on. I'll drive to the city for real pizza, they can keep this. read more

I just wish I could have a slice of Breezy's right now, I had my first in 1963 in Ambridge, PA and on Christmas Day 1964 I was 9 months pregnant when I called and they were open...my brother and husband drove in the snow from Aliquippa to Ambridge to get me a whole pizza with 1/2 pepperoni and mushroom and 1/2 cheese, the family had to get one of there own. I ate the whole thing and enjoyed every bite. My son was born the 26th and too this day we still dream of having a slice of Breezy's again. I wish you had a chain in Tallahassee, FL and I would bet he wishes you had one in Strovelstorp, Sweden. Everytime someone says Pizza I think "Breezy's" I am 64 and he will be 44 on the 26th. read more

we were getiing pizza from them about once a week the one time its was very salty. we thought thats maybe it was an accent and didn't say anything . The very next week we got the same thing this time it was so salty we could not eat it . i called and told them about it and response was "what you want me to do about it" then hung up the phone . well they just lost a long time costumer and i will never go back read more

i just tried my pizza and found that it was not as tasty. the sausage was extremely try and the crust was thinner than usual. the price of my pie was more (higher) and the quality/ taste cheap and dry. when i called breezy's to voice my displeasure, i was told that "the sausage was just a little dry today and that the pizza was made the same way as usual." my dissatisfaction did not matter to brezzy's. read more
