Im fairly new to Benton and have found several local eateries that are great. Breitweiser's is a place I drive by a lot and was curious about. I went to yelp to see what people said. The reviews were very good, so I went last week on Thursday around noon. Im a fan of Reuben's, so I decided on it for lunch. I also picked up a fresh cut 1lb sirloin steak for supper. I also grabbed a jar of blackberry jelly which looked to have been made in small batches. The sandwich was very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that it was maybe on the small side considering the price but nothing to get too upset about. The steak was great. I made a homemade marinade and let it sit for several hours. I slapped it on the grill, 450 degrees for 3 minutes a side and 3 min on the top rack with reduced heat and it was perfect. I was very pleased. The blackberry jelly was awesome as well. My mother in law is visiting from out of state and I'm about to head up their and get more Steaks for Thai evening. read more

The food is always awesome! Haven't found anything that we didn't like. The brisket sandwich and the Reuben are always a hit.

Went in after a while got a pastrami sandwich. A dang good sandwich and friendly staff will have to try their steaks soon.

Breitweiser's is hands down the BEST place to get a sandwich in Saline County. They also have incredible chicken breasts that we make our quesadillas with! I grew up coming to Breitweiser's Meat Market and even though I live 30 minutes away now, I still drive here just to get a sandwich! They're also locally owned! read more

Ordered the smoked chicken plate with potato salad & baked beans, (around $10) It was a fail on nearly all levels! The fantastic aroma of smoked chicken breast, which arrived with rib meat AND BONES, momentarily distracted me from discovering that it was seriously overcooked and completely dried out to a point that I can only describe as somewhere between jerky & mummification. An attempt was made to eat it. Disappointment was immediate. The potato salad was surprisingly fresh & tasty! Albeit hollow succor when one's heart was set on chicken. The baked beans were straight out of a can, rescued only by a dollop of BBQ sauce discovered & deemed "tasty". The staff were friendly enough however they, the owners & the investors in this establishment should realize they can't stay in business much longer, in a small town like Benton, pushing out food like this! They violated the first rule of food service: If you wouldn't have eaten that chicken, then why did you expect me to eat it? read more

want to be totally ignored - last two times I tried to make an order I was continuously ignored. Disgusted I walked out - the second time was the "other chance" neither time were they crushed by customers. I go to places that at least acknowledge me. Nobodies product is that good! read more

Great samich and even better filets. This is no kiddding around, one of the best butcher shops I have ever had the pleasure to indulge in the succulent red steaks. I bought a ham and cheese samich. It was freaking fabulous. You can find a variety of good. I mean great food. Y'all need to get off you hind quarters and go support this meat market. read more

After having lived in Kansas City for several years I've developed a fondness for good bbq sauce. If you can stop by and grab a jar of their sauce you will be thankful you did. Its the best BBQ sauce in central Arkansas!! If you love meat this place has some mean ribs and delicious deli creations. I love the mustard potato salad. read more

I stopped here for lunch kinda randomly. I've been in a couple times for work and have been tempted to eat there every time just by the smell, but I've always already just eaten when I came by. Today though, today I stopped by to eat on purpose and man oh man am I happy I did. I ordered a roast beef with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and mayo. None of that miracle whip crap here, they might serve it but I wasn't getting it. I also had the sweet potato casserole and Mac and cheese. I'll start with the sandwich. There was plenty of meat to make the sandwich full and heavy with the lettuce and mayo. It was a good simple sandwich. Nothing fancy but just done very well. The sides are where lunch really shone. The Mac and cheese was perfect. Lots of cheese and the noodles weren't mushy and gross. The sweet potato casserole though was amazing. I'm a huge fan of sweet potatoes and these were just perfect. I highly recommend it when you come here...because you should totally come in and eat. read more

Hours state they are open till 6:00 (Friday, February 16, 2018) Double checked their hours online before driving from Bryant. Arrived at 4:50. We opened the front door and all the lights were off, chairs on top of tables and the guy in the back looked at us an turned away. My husband continued inside and asked if they were still open and she said, "no, we usually close around 5:00." Infuriating. Have to wonder if the owner knows his employees shut down early and turn away business an hour and 10mins early? read more

Breitweiser's Meat Market has been a fixture for over 50 years that I can remember. They use to be a small grocery store and were the place to go for your meat. Always the best. They still are but now they are a deli with fresh and cooked meats. They have the most wonderful smoked meats and great sides. Brisket and chicken breasts are wonderful. Staff is great. Small town graciousness. I no longer live in Benton but can call them to prepare food for my 93-year-old mom and one of the staff even delivers it! A great hidden treasure. read more
