This past year I've sent several arraignments from online florists for viewings of loved ones and always stick to the same price point of $60.00 plus taxes and delivery, so I know what to expect. But this time I decided to use Brenda's Flowers & Gifts since they are local and spent a total of $83.99 I walked around twice before spotting the flowers and was actually shocked and completely disappointed with the arraignment. It was so small, contained 4 small lilies, 2 very small roses then filled with dried up Delphinium, the arraignment looked cheap and was just plain ugly. So needless to say I will never use Brenda's again and will warn friends and family to not use this florist!! read more

if I could give this a -1 rating Iwould. my husband ordered flowers for my birthday for $100. they were not worth $25. I could have gone to Kroger and purchased flowers for $25 that were nicer. I ordered the "deluxe" arrangement specifically for the white pitcher. The florist swapped it out for a standard glass vase. I called the florist to inquire and she hung up on me! Very disappointed with this arrangement. read more

I wanted to send my wife flowers for her birthday and also wanted to use a local florist (we live in Springboro). I called on Wednesday and spoke to a very pleasant young lady. She took my order without any problem, and I asked that she have them delivered the next day between noon and 5 to my wife's office. The flowers arrived shortly after noon and looked beautiful and fresh. I am very pleased. read more

Nikki and Kayla did the flowers for my daughter's wedding last weekend and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. I told them they took our vision and went above and beyond what even we could have imagined. I have never seen such gorgeous flowers. The roses and tiger lilies were especially spectacular. They were very patient with us working through what we wanted to do with the table centerpieces and the arrangements for the stairway in our venue. The flowers that were done and placed on the cake were incredible!!!! They even jumped in and helped with placing table runners that arrived late to the venue and came up with a brilliant idea as to how to place them. I ordered a pin-on corsage over the phone for Mothers Day. After a brief discussion, I assumed I was all set for a nice corsage at what I thought was a relatively high price. I picked up the corsage the next day and was shocked to see how small and how few flowers were used. I commented to the cashier that $26 seemed to be way too high for two pink daisies, a small sprig each of baby's breath/greenery and twelve inches of ribbon. Her comment was that several other people made the same comment, but that there was A Lot of Labor in assembling these. Give Me a Break - Total Rip-Off. I wish this was the only bad experience we have had with Brendas. I gave them one more chance with this corsage just to support a small, local business. Unfortunately, Brendas didn't deliver a fair value for what they charged and I had to apologize for the small corsage as a Mothers Day present. read more

Unfortunately the flowers received were fairly fresh and was interpreted by the receiver not as a joke but a totally different reception. Great that when I spoke to the owner she said it was the worse flowers she had but since I purposely ordered them 4 days prior, I would have thought the flowers could be brought out of the refrigeration to let wilt. Learned my lesson on "special orders" with Brenda's Flowers. read more

Traveled to town for family event and called ahead for a bouquet for pick up. My special requests were ignored and the $60 bouquet included an over abundance of carnations. I was disappointed with the quality and lack of sophistication. read more

When a dear friend was having serious surgery in New York City I called Brenda's Flowers and asked her to find someone who would "do a good job" on this order. She researched the hospital address, found a florist LOCAL to the hospital and placed the order. I had specified happy yellows, oranges - bright and cheerful, no mauves, lavenders or pinks but dark purple would be okay. My friend's husband sent me a photo. The flowers were GORGEOUS, very cheerful and I was so pleased. My friend was overjoyed with them and said they made her feel good. That was the whole reason to send flowers! Brenda's then called to thank that unknown New York City florist. She does a personalized caring and fantastic job. read more
