Ive been going to Brenman's for years - even before Brenmans - when their pre merger butcher was on Avenue X off Coney. The entire crew there is top notch - they know their meat - and their just flat out great guys! This is my favorite local butcher shop. The biggest problem I have is the employees that make the sandwiches do NOT wear gloves and cut all meats on the same slicer and twice now they didn't wear gloves which is off-putting and a little gross. I normally come here for butcher cuts and will continue to do so, but sandwiches are out of the question. read more

I usually Go in there for the buttersteak , i went in a couple a months ago and there was an older man who didn't work there smoking a cigarette behind the counter. I decided to walk out and not order anything. Today I did a curbside pick up because your not allowed to go in cause of the virus. The lady meets me at the door and hands me my food WHILE SMOKING A CIGARETTE, i thought to myself no way maybe it's a e cigarette. But for her to bring me my debt card with THE CIGARETTE IN HER HAND.
