My experience at Brennan's in Bridgewater was pleasant, informative and affordable. The reviews which mention a rude lady who works there I think misunderstood her mannerisms; she speaks plainly and provides any information you may need for the types of products offered in the store (in my case, tobacco). She knows her products, their prices and their stock at the store, and even offers to order whatever you need (at least she did for me). While I generally will order online, Brennan's is definitely a place I'll utilize when I'm in between online orders and I happen to run out of tobacco. read more

Yes, I went in there basically explaining that I just moved up the street, and was looking for a local smoke shop to buy my juul pods at. I could have gone to the cumberland farms next door but I wanted to support a small business. I thought this woman could have been a wrong read etc... and tried to engage her in kind conversation with her, but I left there and I thought I heard her snickering under her breath, but didn't think any thing of it. A couple days later, I came across my receipt from this transaction- I wanted to make sure it wasn't a gas receipt for work before throwing it out. When I read that the header of the receipt was from Brennan's smoke shop, and saw how much she charged me!!! I bought a JUUL device and single 4 pack of juuls. $83.91 she charged me. Not an itemized receipt either. Um... on the higher end those two items shouldn't have exceeded 45$ so she ripped me off $3O+ just because I tried to have a conversation with her and it annoyed her maybe? I was telling her how lovely the shop was and that I basically was excited that place was still there and hadn't gone out of business like one of the smoke shops I used to work at in Ipswich, MA. You know... relevant conversation. THEIR LOSS! I spend a good deal of money weekly on juul pods, but they're better than cigs. And when I pick a place to buy them I usually just continue to go to that one place so she lost her bosses some serious persistent business. read more

To say Nancy was Extremely Rude would be giving her credit! Today was the second time I was bullied upon entering Brennan's Smoke Shop. I did not know the policy was no children allowed to enter the store when I went in with my 6 MONTH old granddaughter. Nancy screamed "get out of this store. Can't you read the sign on the door? No children allowed!" A pleasant I'm sorry, children aren't allowed would have sufficed. The first time I went into the store to buy my husband some cigars for father's day. I asked Nancy to recommend something. Her response was "How am I supposed to know what he likes" How do these people stay in business??? I left saying I guess I'll have to buy the cigars somewhere else. Nancy said "fine by me'. Well, in Whitman Center, The Smoke Shop was very pleasant and helpful. Brennan's does a good job with selection and if I am absolutely Jonesing for a cigar, in the area I'll stop in.

This store was very well stocked with with any Tobacco product you could imagine. The store is a cramped with space, but I like it like that. You can see the whole store in about 5 steps. Well stocked with fresh tobacco at a very reasonable price. They also have a huge selection of pipes and rolling papers. The lady working at the store was very friendly and knowledgeable about product. I will be returning for more purchases. read more

just now So my girlfriend and I broke the slider on our bong so we googled a smoke shop and found this one which was great and I liked because it was near campus. We entered the store and I liked what I saw. It seemed like a cool smoke shop, with many products and I couldn't wait to explore the store. I walked up to the counter and met the woman who worked there. As a new smoker I don't know terms so I described what I needed as best I could and the woman made me feel extremely stupid for not knowing the terms. She then got the product I needed and gave it to me. She then went on a rant about why smoking is bad and how god didn't intend for humans to smoke. Seemingly out of nowhere when I was trying to purchase a product. The god talk and anti smoke talk near a millennial university is a touché subject. The woman at the counter had extreme stances in not smoking. It's weird that she even works at a smoke shop at all if she has these beliefs. I was extremely excited to do business at this place but the horrible customer service the anti smoke conversation and the talk about how god didn't intend for us to smoke talk completely turned me off from ever coming here again.
