No Padrons, No My Father Cigars, etc. I was a regular customer for over 5 years. They could never keep the one cigar I liked from their limited selection in stock. Staff is friendly, but whoever is responsible for ordering cigars is terrible. Heard every excuse multiple times, sad. Many cigars are dried out and unravel as soon as you light them and prices are high. Other than staff, this place is awful. read more

As a cigar smoker I stop in the shop regularly. I read a lot of the reviews on this place and I can tell you it gave me a mixed opinion. I can say that this place gives a 5 star experience each and every time I am there. Just like every retail shop that offers niche type products the pricing will never compete with online. I was looking for a certain ash tray I looked on line and nobody had it . I went into my Brendan's smoke shop in Pembroke and asked if they had anything like it and the manager of the Weymouth store just walked in and said I think we have a box in the basement in Weymouth I gave her my number and she called and said we got a bunch and I'll bring them to Pembroke . This is where it gets cool i say what do I owe you and she says nothing on the house just write something on yelp about your experience . Well I have to tell you I will refer all my friends to all the Brendans for all your smoking needs and maybe that one unique item you can't find and have a nice person to come totally through for you . Don't do it. Wish I had same experience as Derek H. I bought a Sutra vape pen and was able to charge once, because that first charge also dislodged the charging port up into the body of the pen. Back to the store where they told me basically it was not their problem. I actually have to do a warranty exchange with the manufacturer... And get this, I paid 50 bucks for the darn thing at Brennans and it is 29.99 online. And when I needed an extra essential oil cartridge I got a coil... So I paid for something I don't want as far as the extra coil, and am only going to get told tough crap if I go back with it. Just don't do it. read more

Wow. Not long after my post I received a message from the owner of Brennan's. He apologized, got me the coil I needed AND gave me an Exxus mini vape for free. I honestly just needed the coil, and told this to Geoffrey (owner) and Chris, who was at the store in Plymouth when I retrieved my coil, but Chris insisted I take the mini vape. It retails for three times what the VB22 cost me, AND it's much better. I work in sales and I am convinced customer service is a dying art, but this restores my faith that people do still care about their customers. Brennan's went above and beyond to make things right and I am truly impressed. read more

Only go here if you don't need any information on your product and are treated rudely when inquiring about buying a product over 50$. The old man will yell at you and call you entitled if you ask if your able to return an item. So just be prepared for horrible customer service, although this man doesn't think that is part of his job as a store clerk. Actually it is. Good job driving away business Brennans! Get your crap together and hire employees that know what your selling. Or care even the slightest. read more

Been here a few times. Staff always is friendly and helpful. Huge selection of cigars if that is your cup of tea. Large selection of RYO cigarettes. Yes they have security cameras but hey that is the way life rolls in the 21st century. read more

I was a very long time supporter of both Brennan's and Smoke & Ashes Tobacco stores. I recently started rolling my own tobacco again after two years of buying pack cigarettes. I went to this Brennan's as I had not been in years and remembered how fresh their tobacco was so I wanted to support this company again. I was utterly disappointed after buying two separate pouches of tobacco, one being Bali Shag and the other Zig-Zag, both traditional full flavor styles (Bali Shag is European Halfzware and Zig Zag normal American style). Both pouches were extremely stale and actually brittle tobacco and with the Bali Shag package being covered in dust. The complimentary papers that came with the Zig Zag pouch must have been around for a while and not stored properly at some point due to the paper gums being stuck together and not adhesive, likely caused by high humidity exposure. One of the joys of RYO cigarettes is being able to create cost-effective, (in a way) customization, and fresh smokes. The Zig-Zag I have still been using as I don't like to waste but the Bali Shag I had to throw away as Halfzware when stale is pretty unpleasant. Positives were pleasant customer service there and a wide selection of tobacco products. I likely will not come back to this location. A random stale pack will happen but two packs of what are very popular styles is just not good. The Bali Shag must have been there for a couple years. read more

I'm an older female and was looking into purchasing a pipe. The salesperson was very helpful. He explained the different pipes, best uses, how they come apart and cleaning methods. He opened up the case and let me take my time, while helping other customers. I selected a pipe, recommended screens, opened the pipe and placed it in. I was in on 7/10/17 around 5:30pm. So I'm a frequent customer of Brennan's in general but haven't been into this store in years. I just moved back to the area and went in there to spend my tax return and walked out with the basics and rather insulted instead. As soon I entered I was asked for my ID but not the other 4 people who came in around me. Fine, that's cool...I'm in my 40s but look much younger and I couldn't care less about being carded even though I was singled out--why I don't know. I showed my ID and got a huge "Wow," to which I laughed thinking (as has happened before) that she was commenting on the fact that I'm much older than she thought. Then I found out the truth with her next comment which was "You need to moisturize." HUH? Ok, so the pic is a horrible one as I was very ill when it was taken but who the hell is this girl? I was so taken aback and shocked that I just pretended like it didn't happen and picked up about $20 worth of stuff when I'd intended to easily drop a couple hundred. I called and complained 10 min after leaving when I got over the inital shock, but since she was apparently the one in charge I'm sure nothing will happen. The man with her was horrified when I called but made no attempt to take my info and seemed more concerned with getting out of the awkward convo than making things right for me. I will never set foot in this shop again. Additionally they have a tiny selection and it's really only a good shop for picking up basics and butts/cigars. read more
