I had a very disappointing experience with this urology office…read more My husband went to see Dr. Lutz for tests on the quality and mobility of his sperm after two years of dealing with infertility, his suggestion was to make sure we're watching my ovulation window (I've been tracking my ovulation for 1 1/2?! DUH) He was dismissive with questions and concerns and made us feel like we didn't know what we were doing. On top of that, my husband was told he would get his test results in an hour after TWO DAYS of call his secretary we received them. His secretary was rude and annoyed we called so much. When in reality is their fault for not answering or returning any of our calls with the results that they promised in an hour. Dealing with infertility is terrible and even worse when you get treated like an idiot. This office had complete lack for compassion for our situation. Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and compassion made this a frustrating experience. I hope they work on improving both their customer service and their timeliness, because patients deserve to be treated with respect and sensitivity. We will never be coming back.

NONE OF THAT was his fault....

The surgeon told me it was one of the worst injuries he has seen in a guy in his mid-30's. The day after surgery I walked into Therapy South Vestavia to begin the road to recovery. The staff was absolutely incredible. Every time I walked in, they were attentive, knowledgeable, and were personally engaged in my recovery. Today, I completed three months of Physical Therapy to restore my shoulder to full mobility and get back to normal life. I can lift my small kids over my head, get back in the gym, and throw a ball with my oldest for the upcoming Spring baseball season. I can honestly I would not be where I am today with the folks at Therapy South. I have been through PT elsewhere in Birmingham and they cannot compare to the quality of Therapy South. All of the PTs seem extremely professional and focused on patient care throughout the appointments. They are timely and efficient, ensuring that you are getting the most out of your time with them, and not waiting around in between exercises. All of the staff seem like friends, and it's always a fun environment chatting with everyone while working out. Everything is clean, and I feel like they do a great balance of exercises during my sessions to help me get back to 100%. It's easy to schedule, and they have availability early and late most days. I even scheduled my first appointment online! I've worked the most with Zach, my PT, and Andrew, a PT assistant, and they're both awesome!
