It gives me great pleasure to recommend Anthony Ching, PT -who I saw for the first time at the Brentview West Hollywood facility on Monday last week. I was feeling desperate for knowledge and information, and some trepidation after a bad experience with admins at my previous physical therapy clinic in January 2023 that abruptly halted the therapy that was doing me so much good after fracturing my pelvis last year. Previous to that injury, I had been living with chronic low back pain and a neck issue, osteoarthritis, osteopenia, scoliosis, spondylitis, sciatica. A recent blood workup revealed conditions of pre-diabetes and high cholesterol. Ever since October 2022 I've also been suffering with increasing weakness in my right arm, finger tremors. The last PT facility had nobody qualified to help. I arrived with a thick folder full of MRI results, PT Notes, X-rays, etc. Anthony let me know right away that although he could temporarily consult with me for the 1 hour required by my Medicare insurance, Brentview only gives half hour treatments which would not have been long enough to treat a patient such as myself with co-morbidities. Instead of just sending me on my way, he spent the hour genuinely trying to help. He watched me walk and noted that my right foot was dragging in addition to the stiffness of my right arm. Based on these observations, and taking into account my age and history, he suggested that I consult with a neurologist. I have had a lot of trouble finding knowledgeable doctors who care. Hearing my complaints about these past bozos, Anthony gave me an overview of how diagnosis works. He urged me to have patience and let the process unfurl. He also researched Physical Therapy clinics near me that might take my insurance, gave me a handwritten list, and told me to email him to let him know how I am doing. Afterward, I was able to get an appointment with a top neurologist the next day (thanks to a cancellation) and he agreed that the symptoms could be neurological. He's lined up tests so I won't know more for a couple weeks. When I emailed Anthony to thank him, he responded with genuine gratitude. I feel very grateful that he pointed me in the right direction! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the unprofessional experience my mother and I had at Brentview Physical Therapy today. My mom, who is recovering from surgery and has difficulty walking, made a huge effort to get to her first PT appointment. After checking her in -- which they did by having her call out her name across the reception area instead of handling it privately and professionally -- we were told they could not see her because they "don't do post-op" cases. This information should have been communicated upfront, before we went through the difficulty of getting her there. Instead, our time and energy were completely wasted. The lack of communication, the unprofessional check-in process, and the overall disregard for my mom's condition made this a truly unacceptable experience. We left frustrated, exhausted, and still without the care she needs. I hope they improve their communication and basic professionalism so other patients don't go through what we did. The way physical therapy coordinator is only a chiropractor which is also very misleading. They were also 30 minutes behind on our appt, which was at 12:30 and they didn't see us until 1pm. The reception staff was discussing their bosses texts to them and complaining as well while we were waiting to be seen. read more

replying to business owner--this is all incorrect information-the phone number leads to the wrong info, and when I walked in I did specifically ask for physical therapy, not urgent care. At the very least, the front desk should point people in your direction or know where you are (however, if it's not in the same place, why is it in massive letters on the window???). Fix and update your system so that this doesn't cause more confusion for people in pain. Additionally, you ARE listed as a place that accepts PPOs from Blue Shield. So. That's also false. My PT { ANTHONY ) what can I say ? He was amazing, had a injury at work and unfortunately I had hurt my shoulder and lower back. He taught me how to do stretches to strengthen my back and shoulders. Which I didn't think that they would work. But surprisingly they did. The days that I was in pain he didn't pressure me to over do it. And days that I was stiff he gave me a heating pad to put on my shoulders which helped out a lot. I found Brentview Physical Therapy through a workers comp incident after I rolled my ankle at work. After about 10 min of filling out paperwork for the workers comp claim, I was able to get X-rays and see the doctor very quickly for the initial diagnosis. Words cannot express how amazing Anthony has been in my recovery process. In our first session, he really took the time to explain exactly what caused the injury, what areas of my ankle were affected, and the clear steps we would be taking to make a speedy recovery. We went through several preliminary strength tests and procedures, where I very quickly realized how much physical therapy would be needed. Over the course of the next few weeks, Anthony tailored a plan specific to me and my injury - focusing on very particular exercises and modifying them on a weekly basis to coincide with how my ankle was healing. Anthony the physical therapist was amazing! I was having wrist pain from playing tennis and was so worried I wouldn't be able to keep playing. Anthony significantly fixed my wrist pain in just one session by looking at where my wrist was hurting and how I was holding my racket, and suggested I switch my grip and also gave me wrist exercises to do. Anthony is an amazing physical therapist who really cares about the wellbeing of his patients! He's got up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy and lots of experience with different health issues. I saw PT, Anthony Ching because I had nagging pain in my elbow. He confirmed that it was tendinitis (golfer's elbow). He took plenty of time to fully examine me and test pain points, flexibility, and strength. Then he gave me excises and stretches to do to help relieve my pain. I've been doing them for about a week now, and as he predicted, the pain is subsiding, and I feel like I'm on the mend. I came to see Anthony Ching after the healing and mobility of my ankle had seemed to completely plateau. In December I had surgery and went through physical therapy but I was still experiencing constant pain and an inability to do many basic activities. Anthony was attentive to my needs and concerns. My profession requires a lot of heavy lifting, standing for long hours, and much walking, all of which were painful, if not impossible, when I came see Anthony. We had 9 sessions together and he always gave me exercises to do at home to work on the various areas of concern as well as helped me during the session to get the ankle moving better and the surrounding muscle to loosen up, lengthen and strengthen. The facilities are always clean and the service is prompt. Anthony took detailed notes and tracked my progress every step of the way. I received therapy from Anthony Ching for close to a year following a foot surgery I had done last summer. It was a long road to recovery, and our sessions helped me tremendously in regaining mobility. I was sent here after falling and hurting my hip at work. Anthony Ching was my physical therapist and I cannot more highly recommend him. He listened to what I was experiencing and very effectively built me a plan of exercises and treatment to alleviate my pain. Despite my absolute zero knowledge of hip anatomy Anthony was able to clearly explain what was going on in my hip and what each exercise and treatment were doing to help. I've been seeing Tony for a while now and I've never been to a better physical therapist(I've had back issues for over 15 years.) I always feel THOROUGHLY and attentively looked after. Anthony completely turned my pain around. A few months ago, I was in the hospital with a fitness injury that caused so much pain and numbness down my arm. I saw a neuro and a spinal surgeon who suggested I needed surgery right away. I decided to not go through with the surgery but stick with PT and work out the issues with traction and alternative methods. Working with Anthony not only has made the pain and numbness disappear, but I'm now back in the gym and listed in the Top 10 performers on the leaderboard. Anthony is excellent at what he does, and I couldn't recommend him enough. He gave me great advice and explained things I could easily understand. I've been dealing with chronic lower back pain issues the last few years and recently injured my left shoulder doing incline bench. I came here for an exam and Dr. Tony Dang gave me a very thorough explanation of what was going on with my injuries and stretches/exercises that helped alleviate the pain in the short-term as well as long-term. For my lower back, I told him I had issues sitting down and sleeping - so he gave me recommendations on how to not put my spine in uncomfortable positions, as well as fixed my anterior pelvic tilt. This has helped tremendously as I naturally tilt my pelvic upwards. He was very patient with me explaining what the cause was and how to train my body back to how it's supposed to be. For my shoulder, it was an impingement from benching so he explained the source of the pain and to strengthen my back/shoulder blade area to alleviate the amount of stress I was putting on my shoulder. He also gave me tips on fixing my posture by rolling my shoulders back a little bit and keeping my neck up, which helps me on a daily basis since I have a desk job. Anthony was my PT trainer and I can't say enough good things about him. He is extremely professional and listened to all my issues with my upper scapula pain. We worked together for 2-3 months and my pain level was reduced drastically. He worked on my muscles using cupping and massage. This location is very convenient for me and they accept my health insurance; so I came here when I needed PT for persistent knee pain. I mainly worked with Anthony, one of 2 PT's here, who is extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring, and thorough. I've since learned the underlying issue is arthritis for which there is no cure. But after several months of PT sessions and doing my part at home, I've had a marked decrease in pain and increase in mobility in the affected knee. I would definitely recommend Anthony to anyone else needing PT or use him again in the future if needed. This location offers other services such as urgent care, Covid testing, and dermatology services. Anthony is the best physical trainer! I had a painful knee injury when I first started seeing him and through specific exercises he helped me get better. He spent a lot of time pinpointing what parts of my knee were bothering me and gave me weekly homework and stretches to build up strength around that area. Anthony also taught me to understand what workouts or movements aggravate my knee so I don't bring the injury back unnecessarily. He also did cupping on my shoulder for a separate injury and it was such a relief.
