NuView Treatment Center doesn't drop the ball. Not only are their outpatient programs particularly impressive, but I was pretty blown away by how they handled treatment during the height of the covid-19 pandemic. It seemed like a lot of other rehabs shut down or operated in an unsafe manner. NuView Treatment Center clearly makes it their mission to understand and follow the science, as well as putting their clients and staff first. I want to first of all thank each of the staff members. These people made us feel safe, welcome, and supported during a period of time that was already quite difficult for everyone in the world. I'm talking about the Coronavirus. But of course things are especially difficult for those of us facing addiction or mental health struggles at the same time. The staff members and therapists at NuView worked with us and helped us feel like we were in a safe space. I am writing this review partly out of gratitude for these staff members, who worked so diligently that I don't want to take them for granted. NuView Treatment Center's outpatient programs offer different levels of care, depending on how severe a person's problems are and how much support they need. Different levels of care means clients with work, school, or family commitments can choose a program based on how flexible they are - and how much time they can commit to treatment. Not everyone can afford to devote themselves full time to recovery. NuView understands that. As a result, no one is left behind. Even for people who only attend their outpatient program once or twice a week, they can expect an effective and extremely thorough treatment plan that emphasizes many different aspects of their lives. NuView is not a huge corporate rehab. This means that it always feels intimate. Staff members know you by name. They also take a keen interest in your life and your problems. It never feels phoned in. The clinicians are passionate about recovery as well. Obviously clients need to put in work if they expect to get anywhere, but for anyone with an interest in bettering their lives (whether they're experiencing addiction, depression, OCD, or whatever), doing so is quite possible at this rehab. NuView Treatment Center helps in more ways than one. In fact, beyond just giving you the tools to manage your mental health and addiction, they work with clients to help them get on their feet. This means helping them make plans and take the necessary steps to get better work, get out of debt, deal with outstanding legal issues - you name it. I guarantee that anyone who attends their programs will not only come out happier, but with a bigger and more fulfilling life as well. You will solve problems that you didn't even know you had - and that's a good thing! I am really appreciative for NuView Treatment Center's support. I am not just talking about how they help their clients. They have excellent resources for family members. And they do a very good job coordinating treatment with their clients' other important resources (such as outside therapists or doctors). This support continues for clients even after they have graduated. They make sure to keep in touch and offer resources so that no one is ever simply dismissed as "cured" and left in the lurch. I am truly grateful for NuView and all of their staff!!! As soon as I got there I felt comfortable and cared for. I was expecting a clinical environment like a hospital or something. But NuView felt like a family. The entire staff and the therapists I worked with were all extremely professional and serious about their work, but what I remember most is laughing a lot. I was laughing for the first time. I was also laughing about myself. That's pretty crazy to think about, especially since I was in such a dark place when I started going to NuView. Still, my first few days at NuView Outpatient Treatment weren't exactly easy. I pretty much had no friends at the time, or at least I felt that way. Just to give you an idea of how bad my situation was, picture this: the little room I lived in at the time had a window, but instead of installing curtains above it, I had the genius idea of leaning an old boxspring mattress against the window. That blocked out all light (which I liked), and the holes in the mattress were nice little homes for my only companions at the time: the rats who would sometimes scurry out to join me. Okay, that's enough down memory lane... The staff I worked with at NuView were the first people I ever really openly talked to about how bad my life was. With most other people, I either felt like I had to hide it or present a more successful front. At NuView, though, I didn't feel like I was being judged or anything. They seemed genuinely interested in me -- not in an official clinical way, but in me as a human being. It was hard talking about that. I think before I'd been in denial about where I was at, how much I was drinking and using drugs, and how out of control my life was. Opening up about it didn't feel good, but it was a relief. The first week is always the hardest but the support I received was amazing and I was able to finally become vulnerable and work on a lot of core issues. NuView Outpatient Treatment is a great environment to learn about substance abuse and mental health and how to recover. I learned a lot about myself with things that did not even pertain to my addiction. Great staff that actually care and want to see you stay sober. I'm grateful for their knowledge and compassion. They offer a bunch of different kinds of therapy. I did cognitive-behavioral therapy. The person I did it with explained exactly what we were doing and how it pertained to my substance abuse and my mental health problems. I felt like we were working together on a big project. The project was me. I could feel my life getting better. Sometimes I'd be in a situation at work or with my family that made me want to drink, and I'd think of my sessions at NuView and remember a new tool I learned. My whole way of thinking changed while I was there, and so did the decisions I made. I also did other kinds of therapy that I found really helpful. I did mindfulness therapy. And I did group therapy. Both have stuck with me. In fact, I'm still friends with two of the people from my group therapy. When I left NuView Outpatient Treatment, I felt like I understood myself better. Not just my addiction and other issues, but who I was and what I wanted. I also felt that I wasn't so paralyzed anymore. I felt like I could move forward in my life, and I had the tools to go about it. I think that's because NuView isn't just about "fixing" things. If it was just about getting me sober, I don't think it would have worked. It was about me. The staff were nonjudgmental and helpful about every part of my life. They helped me with my relationships, and even figured out some new career goals. NuView gave me something to live for. I don't have a perfect life right now -- no one does -- but NuView gave me something to live for. I highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering and unsure what to do about it. read more

Following my residential treatment, I needed an outpatient program that catered to my needs and helped me remain clean in my early stages of sobriety. The Case Manager got more done for me in 1 day than the previous center I went to for 3 months. she is there to help with anything you need and helps answer any and al questions you may have. Before settling on NuView, we visited a few clinics & Justin and his team are by far the most knowledgeable. I highly recommend this center. Their staff is professional, friendly, caring & understanding. The doctors here are great. The medical care here is better than other rehabs that I've been to because they explain things, listen to me when I need something, and also give me the freedom to suggest other approaches that make more sense to me. They are really helpful, honest & compassionate any time I bring up a challenge I'm dealing with. The therapists have all been helpful to me with issues ranging from chronic back pain complications to anger management problems; in the past, these conditions were excuses to abuse drugs and alcohol.
