Best Physical therapy I have ever received!! They actually care here! Everyone is incredible friendly, polite and genuinely wants you to feel better. I recently injured my shoulder and had to go for some rehab and from the moment I walked in it's been an amazing experience. Dr. Ellen is incredibly professional and has helped me so much already. The rest of the staff are great as well. This is the fastest recovery I've ever made on my bad shoulder and I am improving quickly. They have so much great equipment and weights here to help with whatever type of recovery you are making. I'm so glad my doctor recommended this place and I am so grateful to everyone here who has helped me so far. Also, everyone who works here wears masks (I don't wear a mask anymore) which I respect and I know some people still feel strange going places that don't, if you are that person this is a great place since they do still wear them but it's not mandatory for patients. It was the worst experience I have ever had in my history. Usually, I don't leave any negative comments, but this time, I will. There was the "glitch" of my charge. Because they charged me upfront before my insurance applies, they had extra money on my account. So, I requested a refund, and I even gave them an email before visiting them last. The issue was the receptionist. Regardless of what I say, everything I say to her somehow translated to "I refuse to pay." To her. ?????? NO!!! I tried so many ways to explain her, but she ended up saying, " she doesn't want to pay. It was my huge mistake engaging the conversation with her, but this back and forth conversation made me really angry. She didn't give me any information about how and when I get money back. I didn't even know why I couldn't use the funding they had for my last visit. The worst part was her attitude. She even said "Why do you care so much about the refund. It's just $20." Well, on that case, why does she care to charge $12 even if I would end up getting the refund. Because she is the manager, I cannot even talk anybody higher. It was so unfortunate I cannot see my PT after my cancer surgery. read more

A friend recommended I bring my elderly uncle here for physical therapy after a stroke affected his ability to walk. This place goes above and beyond--- I am enthralled with how great the service is here! I reached out via email and got a response the same day. Was happily surprised we were able to schedule the first visit for a week later. Even though the place is busy, I was able to book a few sessions at a time so I can plan my work schedule and still bring my uncle in 1-2 times a week. Considering how many patients RA Physical Therapy has, I think appointments are reasonably available. They are busy, but they aren't overbooked. Place is clean, equipment in good condition. The staff is professional and they genuinely care about the patients. We saw Dr. Ray for the initial assessment. He was attentive, patient, kind, and most importantly, thorough in his evaluation. Every PT and PTA we have seen here has been knowledable. I noticed they always ask my uncle how he is doing first, then ask him to walk so they can do a mini-assessment to guide the rest of the session. Overall, I am impressed by the consistent level of care my uncle has been given at every session. Honestly, I am envious of my uncle's experience with physical therapy here. I had the opposite experience elsewhere-- rushed initial assessment, scarce appointments, and questionable gaps in staff knowledge. I noticed my uncle gets so much relief from the skilled manual releases he recieves here. Whereas I was practically treated like cattle and prodded with the massage gun on my way out the door. So I injured myself working out at the gym (heavy leg press) and hurt my lower back pretty bad. The pain got worse and worse no matter what I did for over a MONTH. I picked out RA as it was close to my house and well-reviewed and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Within the first few sessions, I noticed HUGE pain relief. The best physical therapists in the world!!! I had a pretty weird injury - fractured both of my elbows. I came to PT in pain and had no idea how to help myself along during the healing process. Every employee at this location was so helpful throughout my road to recovery. They had a plan that kept me working at my elbows healing through out the 6 months I was there. Ellen, Daniel, ray and John helped me on numerous occasions. Miguel was always thoughtful and considerate when helping me work out and shout out Paola for help on scheduling! I had a sports injury that lead me here. I am quite the researcher and after reading such glowing reviews I decided to try it out. BEST DECISION EVER! I was a bit nervous to go to PT because of COVID, but they keep the place very clean. They check temps and everyone is masked. I worked with Dr. Ray (and John) who is professional, knowledgeable and a good listener to get to the heart of the injury. My leg is better and I decided to have him work on my shoulder that was giving me problems from a 5 year old injury. I'm so thrilled to be on the path to better strength and I highly recommend this place. (On one visit Dr. Daniel stepped in and he was equally wonderful.) I've been receiving PT at RA Physical Therapy for almost a year now. The staff is kind and courteous, the facility is clean and in good working order, and they offer a wide variety of PT-based services. I specifically work with Erika in the Pilates room and adore her. She listens and is cautious of my many injuries, which is something that I need - not an instructor that will push me to the point of hurting myself! I've also worked with Daniel, who is really knowledgeable and friendly. I can ask him just about anything (I'm a very inquisitive person) related to body work and he usually has the answer! This place helped me sooooo much. I came here for a hip issue and have nothing but praise for the work that they do here. Dr. Ray is very attentive and knew right away what to do with me when I had my initial consult. Highly recommend this place!! The facility was very clean and well maintained and everyone was super kind and professional. As an avid jiu jitsu trainee and competitor I constantly find myself in very uncomfortable positions and occasionally getting hurt. I had Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome which was likely due to inactive muscles in my hip, which made going up and down stairs painful. Other PT places needed a 4 week wait before they would accept new patients for some reason, but RA PT was available the following week. Dr. Ellen and Miguel helped me with which exercises to do, and after 5 sessions, I can now go up and down stairs without pain. I'd definitely recommend them! read more

RA Physical Therapy helped me get back to my routine after a horrible back injury. In mid-February, I suffered from a gym related acute lumbar strain to the left side of my lower back. I was unable to walk - the pain was unbearable and sent what felt like electric shockwaves up my spine and down my legs with the smallest of movements. Urgent Care (Cedars) had no idea what to do with me and referred me to an Ortho, who then prescribed PT. I did extensive research on different PT spots but RA Physical Therapy had the nicest and cleanest facility + great reviews. From the moment I called for an appointment, the staff has really laid out the red carpet. I was confirmed for an appointment with 24 hours, they worked with me and my insurance, and were clear in communicating all costs from the get go so there were no surprises (shoutout to Henna! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!) Although the entire staff should be bragged about (John, Ivan, Jean), I am eternally grateful for my physical therapist, Cyndi. When the injury happened, I was terrified I would never have full mobility again. Being that working out and fitness play a significant role in my life, this injury totally flipped my world upside down. Cyndi is empathetic, patient, kind, and a master of her craft. She started every session asking how I felt and listened to my concerns as a way to accurately evaluate and plan methods of treatment. Although similar, no two sessions were ever the same. Cyndi was always introducing new exercises to help me strengthen the muscles surrounding my back for injury prevention all while rehabbing the injury, itself. I am so beyond thankful for Cyndi, as I'm now back to exercising six days a week as I did pre-injury, this time with a better understanding and awareness of my body. RA has been a gamechanger for me. I started working with an amazing physical therapist a couple years ago and in addition to creating a basic PT regimen, I learned tons of tricks for when my back goes into crisis -- i my foam roller! And tape. These days, Erica helps keep my body strong with Pilates. Sometimes that just means stretching and sometimes that means getting a fierce workout. 1 week to get a first appointment & they won't return phone calls. I called yesterday to make an evaluation appointment and nobody called me back. (It was 11:30 on a Thursday and no one answered the phone.) Today I called again to make my appointment, and the soonest they could get me in is in one week. So if you're in pain I think you should go somewhere else. I'm not sure what's going on here. They definitely don't seem to need business. I'll review again once I get evaluated. I became a patient at RA Physical Therapy about two months ago. Everyone here is so nice and cares so much about every patient. I rotate between every therapist depending on who is available because of how great they each are. It also gives me a chance to be looked at from different points of view and be treated slightly differently, which I really like. Everyone here is so nice and caring that they go an extra mile to educate me about my body and everything we do. They tell me why we're doing what we're doing and the result/why we're doing it. It even got to the point where they helped me with my Kinesiology homework :) All in all, I love everyone here and I wouldn't want to be treated anywhere else. I've seen countless Physical Therapists over the years, but I have never had one as incredible as Jenni Jones. I've broken thoracic vertebrae in by back twice in the last six years, and when I came to Jenni at the end of 2016 my back was so swollen and inflamed I couldn't sleep, sit, or stand for long periods without extreme back pain. Over time, through manual manipulation, massage, and exercises she has helped me to retrain the muscles in my back to engage differently, and consequently the pain has subsided and I'm regaining flexibility in my joints. Her knowledge of the spine, knowledge of her craft, and attention to detail are unparalleled and passion and personal care she shows to her patients makes her truly unique. Seong teaches pilates at RA Physical Therapy and is another gem. She's had a huge influence on my healing process by making pilates totally accessible and by creating a very specific program to help me rebuild my back and core strength. When I leave pilates I often feel about two inches taller and my aching back pain has usually subsided. I've seen my body begin to transform over the past couple of months under Seong's tutelage, and the perk is, she makes the whole process very enjoyable with her great sense of humor. I love showing up each week! I can't recommend RA Physical Therapy enough. Give Sara, the fabulous office manager a call. Dr. Ellen is the best physical therapist I have ever had by a long mile, and I have been in physical therapy on and off my entire life. I had been consistently going to PT for almost 2 years when I switched to her, and I came to her not being able to walk more than a mile without pain, having a lot of trouble holding my back up while seated, and not able to exercise. 5 months later - I hike 11+ miles almost every week, I am doing MMA training, and I have plans to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in October :D :D Dr. Ellen and Miguel have been so amazing and I can't even tell you how much my life has changed. I have my life back and then some and I am so grateful! read more

These guys are great! They came recommended to me by a friend and did not disappoint. I was looking for a physical therapy practice that would do manual body work in addition to strengthening exercises and not only does RA provide both, but they also have a massage therapist onsite who is wonderful. The front desk team is a total pleasure to work with... they return calls promptly, are super helpful with insurance questions, and always willing to work with you when an issue comes up.
