Just while searching for beaches in a 30 minute driving radius, we ran into this gem of a park that's so well maintained. They have ample free parking and the walk to the bay is so quick. The bay might not be the best to walk on as sand is relatively less with more gravels and getting down to it from the stairs is little difficult even for well grown adults. This could definitely be wheelchair accessible in a certain way. They also have few picnic enclosures and a memorial to one of their town's fallen soldiers. The walking pavement is neatly laid out for a calm, peaceful and relaxing walk. We went on overcast conditions and had to return to the car just before the rain caught up. Will definitely return here for summers to watch the sunset in this beautiful bay/park.

However, I am confused on why they don't offer helmets especially with how many rocks there are. Our guide, Jake did openly swear at one of the customers for hanging onto his kayak, I understand it can be chaotic when people fall into the water and other people are frantically trying to get them back on the raft but it is very unprofessional in my opinion to be openly cursing at people for no reason. It could also be their first time rafting, and to have someone curse at you your first experience is not a good look. I also want to note the other guides were super helpful, it was just that one moment I noticed that threw me off!

You'd be hard-pressed to find an outdoor community play that goes 6 days of the week as good as this one. I recommend getting there early to set up shop. Bring lawn chairs and folding chairs, and for front and center seating, be waiting in line before 5:30 PM. Apply bug spray and wear long-sleeved clothing or you may pay the price. I got a bug bite on my arm that left me with a crazy rash on my arm and it took a week to go away. Now for the bad: the audience. The people are just awful here. Somehow because this is an outdoor production close to home for a few bucks, people don't take it as seriously and end up causing all kinds of distractions. The excitement from the crowd is good initially, but when you're talking about a 2+ hour show on the grass with your ass in an uncomfortable lawn chair, people get fidgety. They're adjusting their chairs with the flashlight on while it's pitch black out. They're on the phone checking Facebook, texting, watching videos. Their kids are running rampant. Other people come late and try to squeeze into random spots. And then there are others eating loudly or having long side conversations. Really, really disrespectful towards the performers and other audience members. I couldn't take it much longer and left at the intermission.
