Bill Kieser is nuts. He had been to our house 5 plus times but never has been on time. At first we…read morenever had any issue with him; other then the fact that he curses to himself we just blew it off because we figured he was frustrated with the job. He was hired as a contractor to work on the house we have been renting for 4 years. One day he was highly upset as he found out the night before from our landlord that he had to do some electrical work on our house the night before as so did we find out the night before as well and that same day was my husbands birthday. We were doing our landlord a favor though being the good people we are and allowed it with less then 24 hours notice. He was cursing so loud in the basement and talking so down about our landlord that we could hear it upstairs and we were thankful our child wasn't home. We had to keep our cat and dog locked in our bedroom as he wanted the basement door open because he stated he was having trouble carrying stuff in and out the house from his van. He was working in the basement for hours and I eventually had to shut my basement door for 5 minutes to let my cat use the litter box and let take my dog out for a potty break. Bill (the electrician) came upstairs and did shut the basement door behind him and went outside shutting the outside door as well so he could go to his van to grab more materials. After Bill grabbed his materials, he came back in the house. He dropped an item while he was trying to open the basement door and started yelling at me and my husband and said " Stupid mf's keep shutting the basement door". My husband was upset especially for Bill speaking to me that way as I was the one who shut the door for 5 minutes. My husband asked Bill who he thought he was speaking to like that in our house and from there Bill escalated a terrible situation. We called our landlord and he came over. Bill still kept arguing and lied to our landlord telling him we started everything. Bill then told my husband "you don't know who your f**king with. He made me cry and kept yelling and cursing at us. Bill then threatened in his exact words to "knock my husband the F**k out". My landlord refused tonhave the electrician leave because he just wanted to save a few pennies. We ended up calling the police the take him Bill out of our house for threatening us as he is a big guy and we didn't want him hurting us. He was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I advise you find someone else to do your work especially if you value your time because he is always late and never finishes the job in the time frame he says he will. He always goes about 4 hours over to stroke the clock. He is a phycopath.

Looking for an estimate on some electrical work. Fast call back and appointment time. Estimator…read morethoroughly went through all of our needs and listened carefully to what we needed and proceeded to outline what they would be doing. Very happy with service so far.

Absolute worst service company I've ever had to deal with. In late May, I called Adams and asked…read morefor them to service our generator which has been leaking oil. The customer service rep I spoke with suggested that I sign up for their membership and schedule it as "annual preventative maintenance", assured me that that service would take care of the issue and that the amount of money I'd end up paying for the membership would even out/be less than what I would have to pay for the service call ($169/hr, give or take 2 hours to fix the leaking issue). She made it make sense and I truly felt like this person was looking out for me. She scheduled the PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE for June 19th and said that I could call back any time to sign up for the membership and that it would be covered under my monthly payment, which I did. On June 16th, a tech showed up at my house. I was confused because we scheduled it for the 19th, but figured it was better we get it looked at sooner. The tech was professional and friendly, but nothing was resolved as he couldn't see where the generator was leaking from after letting it run for several minutes. He cleaned up some of the oil that he could reach and told me to check it in about a week to see if I could tell if it's leaking from the front or back. I asked him if he did the rest of the preventative maintenance stuff since that's what I scheduled this as, and he showed me on his phone that it was actually scheduled as a service call. As soon as he left, I called Adams to try to resolve the issue with scheduling. I was told that the person that scheduled me would call me back. The next day, since I didn't get a call back, I emailed info@adamspower.com and explained what happened, asked if I'm still scheduling for the preventative maintenance on the 19th, and making sure I wasn't going to be billed for a service call since I was told that I wouldn't be. They responded that I was not scheduled for the 19th and that my billing dispute would be escalated to finance and that an Elly would call me in the next few days. A week later, I checked back in, no response. I let another week and a half go by, with no follow up from Adams. I thought maybe since I wasn't being sent a bill, maybe they weren't going to charge me for that service call after all. Since I was already feeling like I couldn't trust this company, I decided to call and end my membership. The runaround that they put you through is insane. First person says they can't cancel my membership and that it would have to be escalated to financing, transfer me to a different line, get sent to a voicemail that will never reach back out. I call again right away, am told that they can help me with whatever membership questions I have and I say, "great, I'd like to cancel it." They try again to transfer me but I say I don't want to be transferred, I just need my membership canceled. I get put on hold for a few minutes, then finally they come back and say that it has been cancelled. And I'll be seeing a refund. I ask if I'll get an email confirmation just for peace of mind, she says that I'll just see the refund and that she can send me an email herself stating that my membership has been canceled. It's been 5 weeks since that call and I've gotten no email and no refunds. I wish I could say that was it! A few days after I cancel my membership, guess what email I receive from them? My invoice from the service call! Why would they wait to send me an invoice over a month after the service, right after I end my membership? Since then I have been calling and emailing, with absolutely no help. I keep being told that it's been escalated to a manager, billing, finance, etc etc. and that I should be expecting a call back. I think they're just waiting for me to give up. And after seeing other people's reviews and experiences, I don't feel so alone in the way I've been handled as a customer.
