Terrible food. The bagels are mushy and of low quality, the coffee, bleh. Sandwich bread just awful.

Went in oddly never having checked them out before. The ambiance and decor are exactly what I want in a coffee shop: chill music, warm colors and vibes, and the smell of brewing coffee! The selection of breakfast pastries is on point: muffins, bars, overnight oats, quiches and other various items to enjoy. The star of the show was the carrot cake pop. I highly suggest you grab a handful of them before they disappear! The pop icing is tasty, lightly cinnamonned and just thick enough to be pleasing. BCB!! They have the best bagels I've had. Ever. I'm a bagel lover and have tried bagels everywhere I go. This is my favorite by far. Extra toasty with cream cheese. The lattes are pretty good. The cold brews are better. My kids love the muffins they have here. They have a butterscotch muffin that is heavenly. Service isn't the fastest, so don't stop if you don't have a solid 15. The vibe is modern and eclectic with local art on the walls to buy and different posters of local events. They have tons of vegan and healthy options and the price range is average compared to other local shops and big name coffee brands. They sell candles that are really aromatic. BCB offers a drive thru which is a great perk for a local spot. read more

What a lovely place! It doesn't look as big as it is until you walk in. Then there is a lobby and even a back area that is huge! Lots of room to bring friends, lounge, enjoy breakfast etc. This was right off the highway, which made it very convenient for me. I was passing through. I got a mocha and baked oatmeal. The baked oatmeal was pumpkin/cranberry and it was incredible. I had it warmed up with warm milk drizzled over the top, and it was just soooo good!! I LOVED IT and would definitely stop again to try their other baked goodies. THe place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was lovely. It was perfect! Ordered online a couple times as it was a few miles from our hotel and the app was a bit glitchy, but ok if patient. Keep hitting that button to order; it's worth it! I loved the location of Brew Crumberland Coffee. The building seems to fit in nicely with the community around it. Inside there was a lot of space and it was cool to see people hanging out with friends, holding book clubs or working on a laptop. I sat by the counter along the windows which provided a view of the parking lot and street beyond. During my visit, I ordered a Cold Brew with vegan milk and an avocado toast. A fantastic, cozy cafe along the main drag into town. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, the place is very clean, and the food and drinks are all well made and tasty. If you need a cup of coffee or a quick bite for lunch, and are nearby, then it's a great place to pop into really quick. I guess my only negative about the place is the hours. Even pre-Covid, they are not open very long, so it's not always easy to find time to stop by unless you're in a work-from-home situation or are taking a day off of a typical 9-5 shift. read more

Swill and Poor Service. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. I even tried a second time after a disappointing first experience. The first time yielded mediocre coffee and a mediocre (and not so fresh) pastry. The second time featured really bad coffee and really bad service. Let's talk about the second time. When I came in, there was no one on my side of the counter, but two employees on the other side. Nevertheless, there was a prolonged period of time before one of the workers decided to wait on me. I offered a pleasant greeting but got no response. I ordered my coffee and was directed to carafes with various roasts. I chose one but could only get a single pump of tepid (obviously not fresh) coffee. I, then, tried a second carafe (with a different roast) and could only get another single pump of tepid (obviously not fresh) coffee. After struggling to get the attention of one of the young workers, I told her that two carafes were empty. Without a single word (not even a "sorry about that") she curtly replaced the two empty carafes - leaving me with my cup that was partially filled with tepid stale coffee. I topped off the cup with something that was slightly fresher and a bit warmer. Whether it was the combination of multiple roasts from multiple carafes that had been sitting for too long or just genuinely poor coffee the word "swill" comes to mind. I left and disposed of the coffee at my next stop. Coffee and service were very disappointing. Biggest regret is that I left a very good tip before I got to fully experience the really poor quality coffee and really poor service. Needless to say, there will not be a third visit. read more

I went for some bagels togo. Had been wanting a great fresh bagel for a long time now. Central PA definitely disappoints with the bagels. And BCB did as well. I ordered some bagels togo not cut, nothing on them. I simply wanted some fresh bagels. Got my bag and went to my car and instantly went to pull out a bagel to start eating it. The bagel was pulled out of the refrigerator, it was ice cold. Bagel size is large, pulls apart like bread... definitely does not even have a bagel taste. $12... it cost me $12 for 4 bagels that taste like bread. SMH. Definitely will not be wasting my money there ever again. It's sad the best bagels around are Giant or Weis... SMH. Do better Central PA. read more

Overall I would recommend this place. But with a few caveats: the staff while very friendly, often messes up my order. So, just check it. They are always willing to fix it. The breakfast sandwich is good and they have a French toast bagel. I got a free chocolate chip cookie, which was god awful. Basically a disk of unsweetened flour. I don't know how you mess up a chocolate chip cookie. Coffee is good. read more

I had just finished an appointment and wanted some coffee for trip home but didn't want to go to a typical chain place like Starbucks or DD. I passed "Brew Crumberland's Best" on my way home and decided to turn around so I could check it out. It's a very charming and quaint little coffee shop with a good assortment of menu options. My experience was mediocre. I ordered the baked oatmeal and the board said it was pumpkin. When I got it, it was banana. I asked the girl why I had banana and I didn't like banana and she just said they hadn't changed the board yet so I just let my husband eat it. My latte was good. My husband got an egg sausage pretzel sandwich which was not exciting. His hot chocolate was lukewarm chocolate instead. If I go back, it will be the drive thru to grab a coffee. read more

I would give it 5 but I did not stop for coffee, instead I bought some pastry for the doctor office across. This coffee shop has been there for ages and I just know it as the only one with a drive through. But, the moment that you walk in you find yourself in a very nice cozy little coffee shop that invites you to spend hours reading a good book or do school work or any other kind activity where you just need to be alone and yet can strike up a conversation at a moment's notice. The day I discovered that they had a drive through was the day my bank account began to decline! I can't leave my house for work each day without stopping to grab a drink and breakfast. My dog even loves it too, as they offer him a puppy treat every time he rides with me. The baked goods are all homemade and the staff are always super nice. Love this coffee shop! It is, in my opinion, better than Cornerstone in Camp Hill and so much more convenient and less snooty. I really enjoy the coffee and have been coming here for 15 years. New ownership has done a great job in adding new things to menu and surpassing prior owner's quality. The shop has been updated nicely and will remain my shop of choice in the area. The drive thru window is perfect for early morning commute, but it's just as fast if you walk in too which I prefer. I agree that the deli sandwiches are really great if you need a quick lunch.
