I checked in for my tours at the front desk and the gentleman who greeted me was super informative and friendly. I took the Beer Master Tour with Amy (I am pretty sure that was her name!). The tour was EXCELLENT and we got to see all of the behind the scenes areas of the brewery and try Budweiser straight from the finishing tanks. Based on how great the tour was, I was surprised to hear the guide had only worked there for a couple of months. Shortly after my first tour ended I took the Clydesdale tour. The guide, although I forgot his name, was amazing, hilarious and a smart ass (in a GOOD way!) He was an older gentleman who utilized a walker. It was nice to get up close and have the opportunity to pet the Clydesdales and take some photos. On each tour you receive a couple of complimentary beers and by the end of my stay I had plenty! The gift shop had so many selections from all of their different products. Their facility is massive and the main building is super cool with many different stations to hang out or take photos. They do serve food and I got a chicken wrap with potato salad and coleslaw. The wrap was good but their sides definitely need some work. They have water stations around so you can help yourself to tap or sparkling water. I highly recommend.

We parked across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel and the bus picked us up right in their covered driveway. The trolley itself is fantastic. It has the charming, classic look of an old-fashioned trolley but with modern upgrades that make a big difference. It had excellent air conditioning and a high-quality sound system so you could hear the driver. The ride was smooth and comfortable, even on some of the older city streets. Our driver was outstanding. He handled the tour beautifully, especially considering the fact that I am fairly certain that we had to take a completely different route because a sinkhole had opened up downtown that day. Despite the detour, he never missed a beat. His narration was engaging, informative, and full of details about the city's history and landmarks as we passed them by. He made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The route took us through Forest Park, one of the highlights of the tour. We passed by the St. Louis Zoo and several other beautiful areas within the park. Our driver even stopped for about five minutes in front of the museum, where we were able to enjoy the excellent views across the park. It was a perfect little break in the tour. After leaving Forest Park, we wound our way back through the city, traveling through Midtown and seeing many of St. Louis's other notable sights to include a beautiful church. Overall, it was a very well-run, informative, and enjoyable tour. The combination of the comfortable trolley, excellent driver, and beautiful route made it one of the best city tours we've taken. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Louis.

We just pull up the QR code on the phone for the staff to scan. Then was issued our s'more kits at the entrance and went to the s'mores area to roast our marshmallows. There were several fire pits for this. We also got a small Budweiser tour. We saw plenty of lights. We also got our picture take the Clydesdale. The horses were super calm so petting them was also optional. The popcorns taste great. Definitely recommend the popcorns. There were less people so we got to enjoy the scene and the lights a lot more. We spent about an hour here.

If sitting outside, there are plastic lawn chairs you can move around to get your preferred view. The tour could be a little difficult to hear at times (even though i was trying to sit close to a speaker) but what I did hear provided interesting details about the St Louis riverfront downtown area that you won't learn during a visit to the Arch. Of course you'll also receive a gorgeous view of the arch from the river as you pass by it. If you have the time and you're there to do the whole Gateway Arch experience this is a can't miss!

Do Not Recommend - Extremely Unprofessional Experience…read more I reserved Claddagh Carriage Company for my daughter's senior prom. On April 9, 2025, Shannon Nickless requested a $100 deposit, which I promptly paid. On May 7, I sent a reminder text to confirm the booking, as prom was just three days away. On the day of the event, May 10, Shannon called to say he would be 20-30 minutes late. He was originally scheduled to arrive at 7:00 PM. When I called back for an update, he didn't answer. At 7:20 PM, he finally responded, claiming that the horse had thrown a shoe but that he was still coming. Shortly after, another person--who identified himself as Shannon's boss--called to say the carriage was blocked in and they would not be coming at all. This last-minute cancellation completely ruined an important part of my daughter's prom night. I immediately requested a refund, but Shannon has not responded to calls, texts, or emails. As of today, I have received no refund. I recently spoke to another carriage company and was told I'm not the only one who has had a similar experience with Shannon. Based on my experience and what I've heard from others, I do not recommend Claddagh Carriage Company.
