Overall we found this to be a good use of our time. When we were booking tickets we did see the option to pay for parking on the levee ahead of time. I am very glad we chose not to as when we got there the parking was free on the levee. The gift shop is small and seems to have a sort of odd variety of things to buy, but for those who like trinkets it could be worth it. The crew members were very kind and welcoming. The captain was informative and seems to know the area well. You are able to walk around the boat as you please during the tour. There are also several concession options to buy a snack or drink. The Tom Sawyer is a bit run down, but for the price you couldn't ask for much more.

We came for the floating sleigh on a Thursday night and we were the one of only two parties that came. I don't feel like we should've paid the $10 entry per person, but I understand they probably needed it for gas, which is completely understandable. The drink list was pretty large. I think they had a lot of options for the pop-up bar. They even had a shot list and they all had great names. The concession menu was just like movie theater food but still great options. They had a cute little bottle downstairs. The upstairs is a lot smaller. I think it would've been cuter if they decorated the outside of the boat so you could sit outside with twinkly lights perfect for photos. The staff was very friendly and took pictures for us!

It's a pop up bar. The floating sleigh. Located on the Tom Sawyer riverboat. This is a new attraction for our STL riverboat series. Private parking on the cobblestones. Two stories inside of pretty decorative party accessories. Colorful scheme. Great music to dance too. Pretty picturesque moments. Great views out on the deck. Plenty of seating and spacious. Food list I listed below but i decided on sleigh nachos and pretzel and cheese. Drink menu I listed below as well but I chose dancer sparkler and it was delicious. My group ordered prancer punch and Rudolph redd fizz mocktail. Prices were reasonable. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

The Gateway Riverboat pop up bar was a great experience for me, the drinks were good, the food was good and inexpensive, the decorations were very pretty.

We did the riverboat tour with a package for the arch tour. In hindsight, I would have passed on this option. The boat was larger but with limited seating for the amount of people. The Mississippi river was gross, brown, and had oil floating on top. From the boat, there was nothing to view after leaving the arch park. The sides of the river were lined with condemned buildings, rusted factories, and oil barges. The state of the river and environment was very depressing.

This was a nice ride, complete with picture for purchase, and a history narrated tour up and down a portion of the MS river. If you've been on as many River cruises as I have, you can skip it, but got some great photo ops and the staff was nice.

Was able to explore this pop up bar on the river. The boat was decorated and welcoming. There was a bar on the first level with men and women restroom. The second floor only had concession but a great view of the arch. Mary and Chris were helpful and kind. I ordered the Rudolph red fizz mocktail with deep eddy vodka plus bought shots for the girls jingle juice, vodka, pea, schnapps and cranberry. Overall a great experience even if it was just us partying it up in a Thursday.

Our Captain did a great job driving the boat and sharing in depth information about the River and the City throughout the trip. Great perspective of a historic City! Affordable trip, lasts about an hour

I went with my family to the Caroling with Santa Riverboat Cruise during the 2024 holiday season. There were 5 of us including one 6 year old who had a blast. There were holiday snacks, a Santa Claus singing, and obviously the boat cruising south on the Mississippi. I hadn't been on one of these boats since I was a child and it was fun. I'd go back with kids but not necessarily adults. Great views of sights around the river!

The Arch is always a nice touch to a STL visit! The entire experience was fun and informative. Going up the arch was fun. Before we got on the tram, we participated in a learning session. We saw videos of how things were constructed and about the builders. I believe that there are sessions held with the founders and builders as well. I love how organized everything was. We stayed with our group took fun photos and learned so much! Once we made it to the top, it was a really nice view. Now I don't know if it was my fear of heights or what, but I became super dizzy and nauseous. But I did get a few pics and videos. Once we came back down, we stopped in the restaurant to eat. They have a really good system to make sure you get your food quickly. We had the ribs and wings. All of the sides come with original lays potato chips. We also had the juices. They were good! Finally, we shopped in the souvenir shop. It had so many great items. I always get a magnet for my refrigerator collection. If you are in St. Louis, this is definitely a place to visit!

I really enjoyed the Riverboat ride. As you travel up river the captain points out structures or businesses and describes their history or current functions. For instance, you learn a little bit about all the bridges, the electric building built for the World's Fair, the history of the tide wall and depth of the river, and commerce along the river. In the way back the Ranger for the national park provides a history of the river and notable stories associated with it. You take shelter inside the boat or enjoy the sun and breeze on the decks. The total time on the river is about 1 hour. I recommend this at least once.

A few things that could take the experience from good to excellent: It would be great if coffee & alcohol drinks could be served to guests at their tables instead of everyone having to line up at the bar. The cruise goes by quickly, and time spent waiting in line could instead be spent enjoying the views or the company of your guests. I would even be willing to spend more money per ticket for the wine/alcohol to be included and served, so we don't have to start a tab or pay for every cocktail. I also wish we could choose our main course ahead of time. I don't eat fish, so that part of my entrée unfortunately went to waste. Overall, it was a beautiful evening and I highly recommend it, just a few small changes would make it even more special! I'll definitely be back again soon. I strongly recommend the experience.

In fact, he does not have a business license for this company in the state of IL. Furthermore, his lack in credible business almost killed me July 5, 2020. A man- who admitted to being under the influence, ejected himself off his rented jetski. I asked the employees if he would be removed & they assured me he would. Instead, they let him back on. Minutes later, I was hit at 40-50 mph. My leg was hanging off my body. My pelvis was in pieces. My brain, heart, liver & lungs were damaged. The worst of this, the employees found me immediately, but chose to leave me in the water for over 20 minutes. I screamed & begged for them to pull me out until my lungs physically could not fill with air enough for me to speak- because they were so damaged from impact. An employee finally brought a boat to me, but they still did not help in retrieving me or bring ANY safety equipment. I was told they do not have any. The untrained employees left no option, I was pulled out of the water by another individual who rented a jetski. employees made my rescuer sit on the back of the boat with his legs in the water. Quite literally, he had to try to hold my leg/pelvis back together & to the boat. Bones, blood was everywhere. No one made sure my rescuer & I weren't ejected from the back of this boat. They didn't even lend a towel to try to stop the massive amount blood I was losing. I eventually lost so much I passed out until I was airlifted to the hospital. Where I was told I would most likely not wake up with both of my legs. I spent the next 6 days in ICU & have had many visits since. If Justin Stearns had simply trained his employees to know to pull me out of the water, my surgeon explained I would have only needed 3 surgeries. Instead Ive required 10, & I need more. By leaving me in the muddy Mississippi, I went septic. The bacterial infection made its way to my heart & I will require antibiotics for the rest of my life to stay alive. If Justin Stearns had any safety equipment, there's no telling the amount of damage that could've been prevented to my pelvis/spine. Even worse, if Justin Stearns had insurance it could help with the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills he has caused me. Instead, I've been left no option but to pursue an ongoing lawsuit against him & his illegal buisness. When I say illegal business, I mean the state ordered Stearns to shut down this business until he obtained proper paperwork. What he did instead was keep operating. In September 2020, Justin allowed a minor to get on the water with one of his watercrafts. This minor was subsequently in danger. Stearns was caught & the state issued 17 charges, many of which felonies. I came across this yelp review (i'll include pic) July 25, 2020- almost an entire month after my accident. She rented in advance, & he has many jetskis he could've offered. Instead, he chose to lie and say my accident happened 1 day prior to her arrival, damaging the jetski she rented and not issuing her a refund. Justin stated to police this jetski was removed. Past employees have recently heard my story & reached out to explain the lack of training they received. Even told, leave someone if they're dying. I will include some of their statements. Once my story went public, people began posting on River Road Watersports official facebook page. In response, he began deleting the negative posts to increase his review score. Once I posted the proof he was manipulating the score, the entire facebook account was disabled. There was also an update to River Road Watersports website, adding a brand new location at Longshot Marina: 1545 River View Drive Portage Des Sioux, MO 63373. This address was not on his website as of at least July 29,2021 but has magically appeared since I've gotten my story to the judge and the public. Please keep your loved ones away from here! Great tour to take to learn about St Louis sites quickly I…read morerecently took the St. Louis Trolley Tour, and I highly recommend it. We parked across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel and the bus picked us up right in their covered driveway. The trolley itself is fantastic. It has the charming, classic look of an old-fashioned trolley but with modern upgrades that make a big difference. It had excellent air conditioning and a high-quality sound system so you could hear the driver. The ride was smooth and comfortable, even on some of the older city streets. Our driver was outstanding. He handled the tour beautifully, especially considering the fact that I am fairly certain that we had to take a completely different route because a sinkhole had opened up downtown that day. Despite the detour, he never missed a beat. His narration was engaging, informative, and full of details about the city's history and landmarks as we passed them by. He made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The route took us through Forest Park, one of the highlights of the tour. We passed by the St. Louis Zoo and several other beautiful areas within the park. Our driver even stopped for about five minutes in front of the museum, where we were able to enjoy the excellent views across the park. It was a perfect little break in the tour. After leaving Forest Park, we wound our way back through the city, traveling through Midtown and seeing many of St. Louis's other notable sights to include a beautiful church. Overall, it was a very well-run, informative, and enjoyable tour. The combination of the comfortable trolley, excellent driver, and beautiful route made it one of the best city tours we've taken. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Louis.
