First time trying this place out, and I like it !! Friendly workers, order process was fast and easy. Prices are reasonable and in the same range as other milk tea/ boba shops. Ordered the Hokiyoki with boba and a peach slushie with boba. Drinks came out quickly, faster than I expected, which is nice. Taste? They were perfect ! I have so many drinks I want to try on subsequent return trips to Brew Tea Bar. I'm excited!! Just minutes away from home, this is a dream come true! I bought our drinks to go but I can say that the shop was neat and there were a bunch of customers seated at tables. It wasn't loud in the shop, I could order without yelling And I could see sitting in next time. My only gripe isn't their fault, parking was tight, but I did get a space. The lot was full, but it's a combination of eateries and services, so with both people stay a while. Spaces don't free up quickly. My tip would be to go in between meal times. We WERE regular customers for the past month. We were going 1-2x a week. We tried different drinks and add ons until we found our favorite combinations. Some were good, others didn't taste good at all. Unfortunately, last week, my favorite drink was completely messed up. The slush wasn't a slush and had big ice cubes on the bottom. They also forgot to add milk and also left out the scoop of taro I ordered (an add on that costs a dollar more). I excused it as a rare mistake. The following week, we went back and I ordered my same favorite drink again. This time, there was no scoop of taro AGAIN. I couldn't taste it and it wasn't on the top like it always had been. The other drink we ordered had a taro scoop on top. The drinks were made side by side. I brought the drink back to tell them. The guy said "it's at the bottom". I couldn't taste it (AND I KNOW WHAT IT TASTES LIKE when it's in there), so I took the lid off and looked for it. NO TARO AT ALL! I brought my drink back with the lid off so I can show him. Instead of apologizing for forgetting, he said "I can just give you ANOTHER scoop". ANOTHER SCOOP? There wasn't a scoop in there! Saying that is basically saying he doesn't believe me and I'm trying to get "another" scoop. I would NOT want 2 scoops of taro! It would be TOO sweet! On top of that, when he turned to get the scoop of taro, he and another employee (another guy) gave each other a look like "this customer is lying about not getting taro". If you don't believe me, JUST LOOK AT MY DRINK! I took the lid off so they can! We've been to this place on weekday afternoons and got friendly, professional service with good drinks. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS. However, both times we've gone on Saturday around 8pm have SUCKED! Messed up drinks and this time, unprofessional attitude. Too bad for this place, because we'll be checking out other boba places to spend our money at. We'll also not be bringing family and friends here. My kids love boba, and we're always looking for new places to try, so we decided to check this spot out since it's close to our house. It's a cute little establishment. Even though it gets busy, the wait is surprisingly short. We ordered a Thai tea, a caramel slush, and a taro slush. Everything was delicious! The drinks were flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy, which I really appreciated. One thing I thought was super cute and smart was that they package the drinks in a to-go bag, making it easy to carry multiple drinks at once. Super cute and clean place. There's some seating but it's not much. Everything on the menu sounded really good--definitely a spot that caters to well-crafted teas. There is one option for coffee, and it's a cold brew. The service was very friendly and quick to make the drinks. I got the taro milk tea, 50% sweet, and it was perfect. I think 75% sweetness would've brought that taro flavor out a little more, but I could see the 100% being too sweet. The employee who helped me was incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of my questions, make recommendations, and explain the different drink options. I even asked whether the green tea or black tea might upset my stomach since I don't normally drink tea, and she kindly reassured me and helped me choose the best option. After all these years brew tea stands the test of time, even with a large surge of competitors in the area. No one seems to match their service, consistency, and quality. They also have a large selection of options and keep adding to the menu. The workers are impressive with how quickly they execute orders, they are for sure a well oiled machine. I also appreciate the space always smells so nice when I come in, all there lovely creations making a welcoming aroma. They also keep their space clean bright and inviting and do so without using cleaning products that stink up the place. They hands down have my favorite taro drink. I love to get the slush version 50 percent sweet with herbal jelly, crystal Boba, and pudding. The fact that they put a big scoop of fresh taro on top really makes it extra special. Golden hour is a new drink they offer and I like to get it 50 percent sweet with mango jelly when I want an extra refreshing option. They also have my favorite matcha drinks. I especially like their matcha strawberry latte with oat milk substitute. It has a good concentration of matcha while many other spots make theirs a bit weak, and the strawberry doesnt taste fake and syrupy like many other places. I guess if I could have one thing they changed, I would love of they added a strawberry jelly option for the toppings. Its one of my favorite to have in my drinks. In the end though I am lucky to have this spot so close to home. read more

Hokiyoki Mix ($5.50 Large) + Egg Pudding ($0.75): The Hokiyoki is a combo of Hokkaido and Okinawa milk tea, which I'm a big fan of. I went with 75% sweetness which was the perfect level for me. It's been a while since I've left a review for one of my favorite boba spots in town! Brew Tea Bar is worth the hype!! I recently came in here after my accupunture appointment which is nearby and I decided I needed a little more caffeine for the day, so I ordered the sea salt cold brew and added boba to it. There's a code to get into the bathroom, but they are always so nice and of course remind me what it is. The bathroom is always super clean when I've used it. Staff is always super friendly and kind, too! The inside of this place is on the smaller end, but there are a few tables and chairs so if you want to stay and enjoy with friends, you can. My boba drink was PURE BLISS! Soooo good! And their boba is tasty! I definitely recommend this spot! So I'm at the airport right now and I'm walking to my gate and I have to walk by a vending machine. I don't do vending machines just so you know. But this one stuck out to me. So I do a double take and then I walk back and I look at it and they actually have Boba in a vending machine! I've been on a Vietnamese coffee kick lately and the last few places I was sorely disappointed and have been itching to get a good one and I saw that they had Vietnamese coffee so I decided to give it a try. No do I think this is overpriced at nine dollars? Yes I do. But do I want my Vietnamese coffee? Yes I do. So I go ahead place my order on the vending machine and out pops a milk tea with agar Boba. They even have a new item for KESHI Oolong Black Sesame Matcha and Golden Hour Fresh Fruit Green Tea with strawberry yakult. The popular favorites are marked with a pink heart and their most requested drink is Premium Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea and Hong Kong Milk Tea. I tried KESHI Oolong Black Sesame Matcha (large, $6.25), and it's good! The drink is sweetened with caramel syrup and there's option to adjust sweetness. I requested no syrup, and they prepared my drink with just sesame topped with matcha cream, it's light and creamy, definitely has prominent sesame flavor, and the matcha cream has a delightful sweetness that's very pleasant and enjoyable! Came in earlier this week and have to say not only was the place amazing but one worker stood out to me over the rest I can't remember his name however I can say he was tall mustache and had a lot of pins on him and was incredibly friendly and helpful my Hokkaido did not have sweetener the first time around however when I came to the front to ask someone about it he was very proactive in helping me out and was very nice and apologetic I'm typically a regular at another shop however I will now be a regular here thanks to this stranger ( more people should be like him) read more

The menu is pretty typical for a boba shop. We went with the iced chai milk tea and the taro milk tea, both with boba and half sweetness. You can choose between real sugar or honey. We went with honey. The drinks were very good. I was a little surprised they don't offer any kind of food. Too bad cuz I was looking to nibble on something. This place was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. After reading reviews online, I chose the taro milk tea with boba. The boba was nice and chewy, but not much sweet flavor. Well actually it was inconsistent, some bites were sweet and some weren't. The taro was supposedly real, and I usually like real taro, but I can't say I like this drink. It also has a sweet after taste although I only got it at 25% sweet with less ice. My husband got the sunset on the beach slushee drink and it was good. My daughter got the strawberry milk, 25% sweet and it was a little tart like real strawberries. And it came in a small size, which is a good choice for her because she usually keeps leftovers in the fridge because the regular sizes are too large. We decided to stop by Brew Tea Bar after receiving a somewhat disappointing drink from another boba shop nearby. This was around 4PM on a Sunday and it was bustling inside, with most seats taken and a small line of people. By far the busiest of the six boba shops we visited this trip. Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.25) - Half sweet for the milk tea is pretty sweet, perhaps equivalent to 75% or possibly even full sweetness at other shops. This means the fructose harshness comes out a little. Still the tea flavor is decent - it's sweet and milky with a fragrant astringent bite towards the end of the sip. The boba is very fragrant with an exceptionally strong honey flavor. The pearls are a tiny bit firmer than perfection, but are superbly bouncy. They are very smooth and seem to be of a smaller variety, or perhaps just not expanded as other boba shops. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 As an additional bonus, the cups Brew Tea Bar uses for the large size are bigger than typical - probably 24 or 25oz compared to 22oz that other shops use. Brew Tea Bar certainly serves some solid drinks. I'd definitely revisit and on my next visit, tone the sugar down even further. With that adjustment and the reduction of some of the harshness from the fructose, my guess is that the drink will improve to a 5. Bathrooms - One unisex room that requires a code. read more

My matcha craving was kicking in and I found this spot that was down the street from where I was staying. I got here right before the rush of boba drinkers that formed a line behind me. Ordered a matcha strawberry with oat milk (it's the only dairy alternative they can do with the milk teas). My mom wanted a smoothie so I got her the strawberry banana slush, which was thick and had that smoothie like texture. Both drinks were really tasty and had good flavor, I'll have to add in the boba next time. Place is in a shopping plaza, lots of parking but it does get packed quickly.
