We were passing through the area, and were relieved to find this sweet lil coffee shack (idk if there is another name for these small drive through coffee joints). My partner loves waffles, so the other reviews with waffles quickly drew us in. The server was super kind and made our drinks quickly and well. The coffee was not bitter or burnt. My friend and I traveled here two days in a row on our way to Toketee Falls and Crater Lake. Both days we had an amazing experience and the woman working was so sweet! What a great little place! We stopped here based on Yelp reviews while passing through the area and looking for a good, wam coffee to start our morning. They were really busy but handling it well and seemed to also be training someone in the meantime, which is not easy! We ordered the waffle sticks.... So much yes. It's a must. I have now ordered a waffle stick maker for home haha. We also got two hot coffees and really enjoyed them both. They saved us!! read more

I'm shocked this place doesn't have more reviews! Brewed awakenings is one of the only (if not the only) coffee shops in Shady Cove. Located right next to Chevron in the same parking lot. The location is very convenient for grabbing gas and a coffee on the way to Crater Lake. The menu is very interesting and there's a lot to choose from! It's easy to overlook that they offer alternative milks bc it's at the bottom of the menu. We ordered 2 vanilla lattes and a waffle stick to share. Service was very quick and everything was great! Definitely recommend stopping here if you need a pick me up. read more

Brewed Awakenings is in the tiny town of Shady Cove, which straddles the Rogue River in southwest Oregon. Based on its closeness to the river and proximity to many other tourist attractions, such as Crater Lake, one would think that it would be a more vibrant community. My wife and I drove through Shady Cove in late May while there was a light rain in western Oregon and heavy snow at Crater Lake so maybe we were just there at the wrong time. The vacant Italian restaurant across the street did not improve the atmosphere. Maybe it was a BBQ spot but it was hard to tell. Regardless, it had the façade of a building that had gone through several iterations in its life. Even considering its current condition, I would certainly return to Shady Cove to explore the Rogue River for fishing and rafting and investigate the trails. The drive into and out of the town was a bright shade of green, emphasizing to anyone driving up from California that Oregon has plenty of water. My wife and I stopped at Brewed Awakenings to pick up two quality lattes before continuing our journey north. If we every make it back to Shady Cove, we would not hesitate to stop there for more coffee. read more

Sweet local coffee kiosk that is surprisingly good. They're always really nice, and great about making drinks to order if you need to alter a menu item to your tastes or dietary sensitivities. My favorite drink is the oatmeal cookie done as an oat milk latte. Very glad to have this kiosk in town - Don't need one of the big chains with Brewed Awakenings here! read more

This coffee spot is the BEST!! The drinks are all amazing, and the women who work here are phenomenal!!! Their energy is just as uplifting as my drink!
