My favorite food truck in the valley! I don't know how they fry the fries, but they are always served piping hot golden crispy on the outside flaky soft on the inside and perfectly salted. The fries are my appetizer (more accurately my drive home snack)! Who wants to wait and lose the perfection? But what I came for is the orange chicken! It's always perfect! They make mine between mild and medium spice. The varied veggies are al dente' and perfectly sautéed in the sauce, and like the fries, the chicken is piping hot, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this is served with the perfect mound of soft delicate rice. It is consistent every time, and enough for my husband and I to share. The owners are always friendly, helpful and eager to provide hospitably-they will often bring your food out to you in your car, if it is really cold, and they are not too busy. I think they are priced right, and I am so happy they stay in our neck of the woods in Shady Cove. When that blue sign is out, I am immediately hungry! Yum yum! read more

Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a picture of my carne asada fries before I demolished them but let me just say that both my gf and I were stunned at how delicious they were. I'm a 6'3" guy and can eat and both her and I were STUFFED and still had leftovers. This thing is packed with all the good stuff. The only negative I have is that it's so close to me it may become a negative in my life from gaining way too much weight. read more

I discovered this food truck when planning a trip to Crater Lake. We like Thai food, and loved the name of the business, so made a point of finding the truck on the way to the lake from San Diego. SO glad we did! Honestly the best Thai food I have ever had. Hard to believe from a "humble" food truck - but true. Woman was very pleasant, and food was truly made from scratch. (Allow extra time.) Very large portion - we ate plenty for lunch, and had leftovers for that evening. Since this was a food truck - parked in the parking lot of a mobile home park - there was not much "ambience"; but we went for the food, not the surroundings - and we were definitely not disappointed. Highly recommend this business, and the great Thai food. NOTE: We took this trip in September, 2022, and I am just now getting around to writing this review. Be sure to check the location of the Yummy Num Nums truck before starting out - it can move around. My goodness where to start.. I hate to admit but I've tried most everything here and have yet to be disappointed! However I am pregnant so I'll use that as my excuse. Almost everything is organic, local produce when they can and cooked with coconut oil! I try to eat well, although it may sound ironic given my frequent stops described in this post, and it is hard to find fresh, healthful food in the valley let alone in shady cove!!! I was drawn to the dishes containing meat however always wanted to try the curry dish that is a vegetarian option. I finally did and it may be my fav! They have amazing homemade harbanero hot sauce, desserts, sweet tea and elote (LA Mexican style corn on the cob). All delish and unique.
