Never has this ever happened in any other establishment. We also had 2 birthday parties there that both went great! The party hosts are proper hosts, super helpful and attentive. If you are a parent of young kids you know how crucial having that help is. All the staff knows my son by sight and are always welcoming and really tolerant and patient with my AuDHD son who constantly runs into every place he isn't supposed to. We feel like family here. I haven't gone on a hectic day (intentionally) so I can't speak to the rule enforcement on those days, but I can say that I have seen the strictness vary depending on the vibe, age, and amount of kids there. I appreciate this because it's annoying to have to parent other people's older kids around safety if they are being too rowdy around the little ones. They're all still just kids, though! The only improvement they could make is adding a slide or 2, but maybe that is in the future! Who knows! The most important thing to me is the intention and advocacy I have seen in management. Keep it up!

I was in town for a softball tournament this past weekend. My biggest issue was there were just two stalls available-- there was quite a line. Otherwise the fields were well maintained and there was shade throughout. No complaints here! This gem boasts: a basketball court, disc golf course, multiple playgrounds, pavilions (that are rentable), a super cool sand volleyball court, skate park, soccer fields, tennis court and a very nice walking trail that's 1.2 miles. Fross Park also offers a plethora of parking. Overall, while Center Point is a bit of a drive for us-- I won't be mad the next time my daughter plays at Fross Park! It's fabulous.

We didn't quite get through 18 holes, but could have if we pushed it a little. The suites are big with a large counter in the back, large high top counter/table to sit at, own fridge, and own bathroom. We brought food and drink which really cut down on the expenses for the evening. In total it was about $27 per person to golf. I'd recommend watching the video they provide before you go because the cell service in the suites is not very good. We happened to see an employee and he helped us set everything up. Each two suites is separated by a garage door, so bigger groups can have more people golf and more space. Easily could have had 15-20 people (all not golfing) comfortably and still play quite a few holes. I've never been to a golf simulator, so I have nothing to compare this to. However, we all agreed we'd definitely do it again and it was worth the money! The suites are very nice and clean. Just make sure you pick up and leave it as you found it!

I met my closest friends here and I used to countdown the days to the next time we'd all be reunited again. The campground is beautiful. It's spacious, green, and has a hell of a lot of mosquitos in the summer so bring lots of bug spray! The Wapsie staff is so fun and their energy is contagious. There's so much to do- climb the tower/zip line (which includes shouting "I conquered the beast" when you reach the top), archery, canoeing, there's an arts and crafts shack, volleyball court, and a pool! The new greatest edition to this place is chef William! He turned around the whole experience with Camp food which made getting our campers to eat so much easier, and it was all around just great food. I love this place and I highly recommend it!

There is a playground and swingset at this park along with some trails that head into the behind neighborhood. There was a family of 4 at the park playing on the playground when I arrived and they stayed for most of the time I was there. It was nice to sit outside in the shade and enjoy the outdoors. Will definitely return to this park, maybe even with my dog to take on a walk here.

There are two large structures with multiple slides of varying heights, and other things like ladders, firemen's poles, etc. There are also a few smaller stand-alone items, as well as benches for the tired old parents like me. The only downside to the playground is that it's not fenced in. It's in the center of the track / field, though. So the only ways your kid would make it into the street is either if your kid is the Flash, or you're a very distracted parent.
