Fun in theory, but the execution and staff, need improvement. I came to this trampoline and activity center hoping for an easygoing day with the kids, and while we made the best of it, the experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we checked in, the energy was off. The front desk staff member who greeted us (blonde hair, long fake nails) didn't make eye contact, barely acknowledged us, and came across as unfriendly and disengaged. In a place designed for kids and families, this kind of first impression matters, and unfortunately, it set the tone. The facility includes a climbing zone, a small café, an arcade, and open space for kids to play. Marlee, who was working at the prize area, was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our visit. She was warm, upbeat, and engaging with every child who approached her. She truly brought the kind of energy this place should be known for: fun, respectful, and interactive. If every staff member had her approach, this would be a five-star review. She deserves a promotion or at the very least, recognition. That said, the rest of the staff seemed either disinterested or unprepared to manage the space. Kids were sprinting around recklessly, bumping into others and causing minor chaos with no supervision or redirection. Staff members were either too young, too inexperienced, or simply unwilling to intervene. Several arcade machines were broken, without signage, and remained so even after it was brought to staff's attention. Kids were losing tokens repeatedly and having to return to the counter to ask for help, which became frustrating and took away from the fun. This center has potential, but what it really needs is not just updated attractions, but a serious upgrade in staff training, supervision, and customer engagement. A fun place should feel fun, safe, and welcoming--and right now, it's missing the mark. read more

This is for the new location by the airport - the staff are nice kids & adults managing seem friendly. However it is highly inefficient & some areas are very slow due to lack of following the directions they set in place. Our child waited 45 minutes for the zip line (she ultimately got sad & frustrated and went to do another activity). The staff was letting other kids from the wall climb line do zip line once they got on the set up area. This might be due to the fact the set up area holds on the harnesses. I stood in line for 10 minutes for a shake, waited an additional 10 minutes to ask someone to make the shake, and an additional 10-15 minutes for them to prepare it. 30-35 minutes for a shake shouldn't be normal. The problem is that they have 1 employee for the whole dessert & sweets counter and they had to make ice creams & other sweets for other people who came in after we paid for our shake. This shouldn't be normal protocol on a Saturday afternoon. Managers or back up staff should've been ready to step in when there was a line forming. Overall, it's got lots of fun things for the kids - but the inefficient way they run things and the zip line area is a huge miss. Ultimately creating a very sad day for our kids to start. Plan to spend 3-4 hours just to enjoy things if it's this inefficient. read more

RIP OFF!! We have been platinum members for years. This time they pulled fast one. They stopped giving the free game card and soda each time which has always been part of the membership. No mention of this. Just oil our money with renewal The the girl at front patronizingly tries to show this on a brochure. Yep I can read. But when you renew it's not the same. So we came to the Fun Station while in town for Christmas. We ran into the general manager Alex and he did such a wonderful job helping us get checked in and was super interactive with our kids! Was encouraging our kids to try the orange slide and sent us to a team member i think it was Trenton who also really cheered on our kids when they seemed a little scared about the big slide. Great leadership here great staff and so clean! And the food was SO GOOD!!!! if I lived here id be back with my kids all the time! read more

We absolutely love this place! It's a great place for our girls to run, jump, and climb during the colder months. There is also a game room filled with arcade games that our girls love!!! The place is very clean and we usually get the girls a kids pack for 12.99 which includes admission, a drink, and 20 game tokens! Staff is great! read more

My husband and I brought our three girls here (2, 5, 10) for a spring break trip from Des Moines. We have never been, so this was new for us! It definitely exceeded my expectations. It was affordable, super clean and well kept, the employees were all friendly and helpful! We didn't have any food, but it did look and smell good! Went here with a handful of kiddos! The kids had so much fun running through the play place. It was very big and it looked like they were gonna add on more! Yay! The staff was very friendly and polite.they had good meal deals and all you can eat salad bar. I loved the restrooms they had a small sink and a small potty. Gives the kids independence. The only thing I didn't like was the floors were very sticky. I did appreciate very much the staff in the play area willing everything down that was great to see. read more

It's a less busier chucky cheese, throw your kids in the hamsters tunnel and go get wasted with your buddies, no I've scene this happen a couple of times. The pizza is not bad and the crowds not as bad as chucky cheese. They do serve beer here so if you must drink in front of your kids at least have a dd! Over all it's a good place to take the kids and let them run wild or for Bday partys! read more

Our three year old loves this place so much we bought an annual pass. The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way to connect with the kids. You never see staff just standing around they are always cleaning something. I am pleased that the food quality seemed to improve over the past and now the pizza, salad bar and other items are actually pretty tasty. I do wish they still sold the reusable plastic tumblers from previous years, it was nice to have a bigger stronger cup. I like coming on Toddler Tuesdays as my little one can get lost on the craziness on busy days. I do usually avoid the place like the plague in dollar day, as I would much rather pay more than be bombarded with eleventy billion kids. Overall, is suggest the Play Station to anyone with kids age 2-13. read more

Today is $1 day, so you'd think that they would be fully staffed right? Absolutely not! There is ONE person working the front desk, ONE person working the kitchen, and ONE person working ticket redemption. The bathrooms are out of toilet paper and DISGUSTING, the floors are filthy and there is nowhere to sit. My kids love this place and it's literally the ONLY place like this on Cedar Rapids. This place is great. The exterior of the building is really doesn't do justice to the inside. Imagine a Mc Donald's play place on steroids. They have a huge area for all kids and a smaller area for toddlers. There are a few games that will give you tickets for prizes but its 85% play area. Food is okay, but that's not why you go there. I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here and while I enjoy the concept of an indoor park for kids, I certainly think there needs to be at least 1 worker over 18 there to keep things in line. If you can get past the snot slicked slides and the bacteria basted balls, you might be able to enjoy frolicking with your child - though it seems to me most people go there to veg out and forget they have children :0( I give it 1 star for a good concept, and 1 star becasue kids really do seem to love it ...unless of course it is the hysterical child that refuses to come out of the tunnel!!!! read more

We brought my then 2 year old there last summer and he had a blast. I crawled around in the tubes with him and it was a lot of fun. Not sure what they other reviewer meant but everything seemed really clean to me. I wasn't a huge fan of the food, but the kids seemed to love it too. They have a pretty good sized game room and the main play area is really huge. It's three levels up with slides and lots of things to climb. We're from down in the Iowa City area and we keep meaning to go back. I highly recommend it. Really cheap too. Not like going to a movie to just have your kid veg out. Just remember socks for the kids. We had to buy a pair, but I think it was only $2 or something like that. And I heard afterward they have kneepads I could have used. not sure if that is true or not, but that would have been nice. Everything is cushioned, but my knees aren't really built for climbing and crawling anymore. read more

I took my 22 month old and 3.5 year old here to play while visiting Cedar Rapids. They had a great time running around, burning off energy. It was a Tuesday afternoon and they pretty much had the place to themselves. On Tuesdays toddlers get in for 4.50 which is extremely reasonable. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have free wifi which is a plus for the parents. We will definitely go back the next time we are in northeastern Iowa. read more

The Playstation is horrible. I had a birthday party there today that we made a reservation for a month ago with a non refundable deposit. When we got there 15 mins early, like the website says we can do to set up, our reserved area was not available because there was a party there that was an hour over their reserved time. The people working there told us it would be a minute so they could clear the area and set up. As the time passed, we kept asking several workers what the situation was and nobody could get us an answer. Finally, 5 mins after the time our reserved party time was suppose to start, they let us into our area. Five minutes may not seem like a big deal, but it is to a 4 year and her friends as well as it is time we paid for. I spoke to a manager, Maddie, who I believe is not qualified for the position, and she kept saying there was nothing they could do and made it seem like it was our problem and not theirs. She had no clue what customer service is and wouldn't budge when I told her that I believed we should be compensated for our lost time. Ironically when our reserved time was over, they promptly kicked us out of the area. read more
