Brewerton Pharmacy has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Nick and Nancy Chervinsky started this business and have now pretty much passed it on to their daughter Lorie. The pharmacy is one of the pillars of the community and in an age where big chains force out the independent run business it's nice to see this store surviving. read more

We at Brewerton Pharmacy have had the privilege of servicing the healthcare needs of Brewerton and the surrounding community for more than three decades. In addition to prescription service we carry a complete line of home medical equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, commodes and bath safety items. We also carry an extensive selection of lift chairs and scooters. In addition to our traditional prescription service we also are doing specialized compounding. We are able to make unique dosage forms and custom delivery systems to meet individual patient needs. Some of the areas that we are currently working in are Topical Pain Management, Veterinary Compounding and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. We also have an extensive gift department featuring Precious Moments, Willow Tree , Jim Shore along with Hallmark, Blue Mountain Arts, and Leanin' Tree Cards.

Brewerton Pharmacy is part of a four store family owned operation. It was started in 1976 by pharmacists Nick and Nancy Chervinsky, both graduates of the Albany college of Pharmacy. Our success over the years is a result of many hours of hard work and the dedication of our faithful employees. Our stores include two full-service drugstores, a pharmacy department in a medical building and a homecare center.

After being treated very rudely by the staff at the location on RTE 11 I could not have been more satisfied with how they helped me out at this location. The staff and pharmacist were absolutely great and I will only use them from now on. I also was given contacts that were close to my prescription but waited until i could get the corrected pair. After all was said and done, when I returned for my follow-up exam and explained to her that I felt as though the prescription wasn't right, I was told I would have to pay for the follow-up exam. That the exam would fall under a copay for dry eye, which I don't have. I was immediately defensive as she explained to me on my 1st appt that I didn't exhibit any signs or symptoms of dry eye. Unfortunately I walked away with an incorrect prescription and will not go back there. I've never been to an eye doctor that charged for a followup exam for a contact prescription. So wierd, but in this world it's all about money!

An hour round trip drive and got there to find out the order was wrong and the glasses he ordered were ones we eliminated as options and not what I even chose the day before. The woman "helping" was the rudest, condescending, uncaring horrible person. She blatantly told me the things Steve told me to help make decisions about frames weren't true and did nothing to help in the selection process but then provided no useful information to help either. She was disrespectful and unprofessional. Don't be taken by the slick sales and poor customer service.
