I stopped here on a Friday, late afternoon and they were packed inside and outside at the beer garden. There were 2 bartenders taking care of the drinks and all the food orders for both areas. Not sure how they did it but they kept up! I had the beer flight and they have a large menu of beers, wine and mead to choose from. They don't have a large menu but the pretzels looked great and I, as well as many others, ordered the pizza. The pizza is enough for one person. It's probably a 12"x 5" flatbread, mine had the cup pepperoni and hot honey on it. The dough had a good amount of chew with the crust having a good crunch. Definitely a local favorite. read more

I came here with a group of friends and was underwhelmed unfortunately. Everyone in our group thought their beer flights were mediocre at best. The most popular drink in our group was the seasonal apple pie cider. I would make sure you get this drink if you come when it's in season. The atmosphere outside was pleasant as we sat and listened to live music. Unfortunately, the service was also mediocre at best. None of the bar tenders were particularly friendly/welcoming. I probably won't come back, but if you have a hankering for a brewery experience around this area, it's good enough for a quick stop. read more

I was staying at the holiday inn just up the way from here. I was in town for a training for work and stopped in at Brewery 33. Started off great as when I walked in I saw a cat and a kitten. I love cats. Dot the Burro Cubano sandwich which was very good. I had a couple beers, and a mead. They make all their own beer, mead, and wine. The food came out real quick, the bartender was very attentive. They also support law enforcement and fire, as they have patches on their wall. Nice spot to relax, have a couple drinks, and pet some cats. read more

The inside is cozy but small. They have a huge outdoor area though. They have a variety of meads and seltzers alongside beer. Their apple pie seltzer is very good. I opted for a molasses cinnamon mead which was fantastic. My husband had a German style IPA of some sort and he enjoyed it. One of their more intriguing menu options is a rotating specialty deviled egg. I was a bit disappointed when I asked what they had and was told "regular". They were very solid deviled eggs though, so I couldn't really be mad. I do think the service could have been better. The ladies working were very brusque even when they weren't all that busy. We probably would have done a second drink had we felt a bit more welcome. I probably would go back if I'm in the area since they did have some unique offerings that we both enjoyed. read more

I was in Hocking Hills recently on a hike and exploring the area with a friend when I remembered that I had this place saved on my Yelp. So after we were done, I made it a point to head over for a cold beer. I was very excited as I had been wanting to go here for over a year. The building itself is set up very nicely in accommodates its guess quite well The bartender/server was very friendly and spoke to me about a multitude of things in the area and gave me pamphlets about upcoming events I ordered some chips and salsa, which were basic and nothing great but hit the spot after a nice day of hiking and paired well with my beer. I ordered their Midway IPA and it was very tasty I look forward to coming back here in the coming future to try more of their beers and their food. Sláinte! read more

Interesting set up inside - not what I was expecting from the outside. Bartenders were not overly welcoming or friendly but it was fine - we got what we needed. Enjoyed a few flights and sampled the seasonal apple pie cider which was very good! Sweet but not too sweet and had a nice graham cracker cinnamon rim. The outdoor space is really cute with the Biergarten and patio which had live music when we visited on a Saturday - good vibes outside! We hung out for a bit and enjoyed the fire pits as well. 7/26/25 Nice seating outside, inside was very crowded and not much space. There wasn't an option to sit inside at 2:30pm on a Saturday since no tables were available. So we sat outside. No table service, you have to order everything at the bar and there's separate menus for sitting inside vs outside. The outside seating was nice in the fact that there were large event tents to sit under and some tables with umbrellas. There was a slight breeze that definitely helped with the hot summer temperatures. I liked the boozy slushies $10 - I mixed the pina colada & blueberry wine slushie as my drink, then got a separate mango gose shandy $7 to pour on top. Ordered a pretzel -$7 to split as something to hold us over till dinner since we skipped lunch. Also just adding the prices here since the drinks didn't have prices listed on our outside menus. The bartender also didn't say the total cost, just asked if I wanted to close or keep the tab open. Normally it wouldn't phase me, but again, no prices on the menu, so wasn't sure the cost of what I was ordering unless I asked for each individual item (which would have been a hassle). Around 3:45pm, live music started outside which consisted of a gentleman with his acoustic guitar and a sound system setup. It was good song choices that people would know, but the execution of the songs were slightly above karaoke quality. Generally, live music at places make you want to hang around, but this one today made me ready to leave earlier than later. We finished our drinks and left. I normally have great experiences to share on yelp, but I think there's a lot of room for improvement here and better use of space indoors/ better ordering system since the ordering inside was pretty chaotic and unorganized. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:25pm (20 minutes ago on a Wednesday) and were quickly told by the bartender that last call for the kitchen was in 5 minutes. The person was potentially having a bad day but was a rough way to be greeted. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. The menus we looked at said that Mon-Thurs had hours until 7 and website stated kitchen orders available until 30 minutes before closing time. My husband, 2 dogs, and I stopped in here last night to get dinner and try some beers after hiking in Hocking Hills all day. Our last hike had been Whispering Cave, where we entered and exited from the lodge access. We had been hoping to sit on their patio and have a cheeseburger (we smelled them before beginning the hike and it was all we could think about) paired with a cocktail and enjoy the nice weather. Unfortunately, they were not pet friendly. Once we got back to the car, we searched nearby pet friendly places for food and stumbled upon Brewery 33 and things were looking good! However, once we arrived and got settled, my husband went inside to place our beer/food order and it went downhill from there. Staff were unfriendly and seemed to want to make themselves unavailable, despite being slow. After ordering our beers he said he wanted to place a food order and 2-3 times the girl at the bar tried to dissuade him from ordering by saying how long it would take for food to come out. He said no problem since we had just ordered beers anyway. We ordered "buffalo chicken dip" (I put that in quotes because it is such a scam to even have this listed on the menu and it had about 3 shreds of chicken inside the dip and came out like it was nachos at a baseball game, but at a regular appetizer price), 2 Reubens, and 2 hotdogs for our dogs. When he ordered the hot dogs he said he just wanted them plain with nothing on them for our dogs and the girl asked another staff member if they "came that way" and acted like they couldn't be ordered plain. The other girl responded "no," but then my husband reiterated that he didn't want anything on them, but that if they came with the side of chips, then to keep them with it. The girl said they didn't come with anything on them, so it was honestly just super weird how difficult she made it to order a hotdog. By default, hotdogs are plain and then you can add toppings, so it was like she was making it difficult on purpose. She gave him a buzzer and he came back outside with our beers. 10-12 minutes later the buzzer went off and he went to get our food, so it was not long at all like she had kept trying to say it would be. Our Reubens were supposed to be grilled, but had no panini marks anywhere to be found. One side of the bread was incredibly soggy from the thousand island sauce/sauerkraut and the bread slices were comically large for how little food was between them. The sandwiches tasted good, but the presentation needs to be changed completely. The side of chips seemed to be a half-handful of broken, bottom of the bag Ruffles. Lastly, the hotdogs came out with no chips, but we were still charged full-price for them? We would never order food here again based off of this experience. For the beers, they were great! They had a wide selection of beers, cider, wine, and some mixed drinks. Had we had a good time here, then we would have stayed and had more. This is why I am giving more than a 1 star review. Their outdoor space is massive, family/pet friendly, and has many different areas to sit. Some areas are shaded and some are great for sunbathing and enjoying the weather. It's a wonderful space, really. They have a little stage for live music, a small playground for the kids, an outdoor bar, and a chicken coop. For a Saturday evening, it was pretty empty, which was surprising at first, but once we left made more sense. The live music was absolutely atrocious. There is really no other way to describe it. It was one man up there who sings worse than I do at drunk karaoke and he butchered classic songs one after another. Not one person was sitting by the stage to listen to him sing, so that was also a red flag we missed after sitting down. It really dampened the experience of being outside and enjoying the nice weather before it gets cold. Now for the chicken coop. This chicken coop is randomly placed next to a group of picnic tables in direct view of sunlight and exposed to all of the elements. There were probably 4-6 chickens inside of this comically small coop and I'm not even sure why they were there. Is it for kids to look at? Do they use all of these eggs for the deviled eggs appetizer? The outside space is so massive, yet they have the chickens in the smallest enclosure and it's really sad. Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but really needs to have a shake-up in customer service. The bar staff inside were just super unwelcoming and seemed like they didn't want anyone there. I am not sure if that is the case for the outside bar because we did not order anything from there. While we were waiting for our food to be done, a couple had come outside with beers and by the time we got our food they had left and loudly said "there are better places to be." Based off of our experience, my husband and I would never come back here. Customers do not want to be treated like trash when they go somewhere to spend their money. read more

From the outside this pace looks huge but when you walk in there are about 5-6 tables and it's very cramped and small. One of the bartenders didn't seem like she wanted to be there and it showed in her demeanor. But there was another bartender that was very kind. We ordered a pretzel and nachos and they were very small for the price. Thankfully the hatch chili beer was good. I don't think we will be back when we are in town again. read more

The outside vibe and setup give this place a 2 star, the rest could use some improvement. We set out to have a beer and a snack to tide us over before another hike and dinner later. It took a bit to get waited on, but several of us hit the bar up at the same time. We did both enjoy the cider and pickle beer that we ordered. At the same time we also ordered the buffalo dip and chips and salsa. We waited and waited for these two simple items, meanwhile others that ordered after us got their orders. We went into check on the progress, mind you it's been well over 30 minutes for these two food items. We were met, with unpleasantness, and frustration for just checking on these two items. Told that there were large orders in front of us and there wasn't anything that can be done. Another 10 minute pass and finally the buzzer goes off to get our food. Once we walked in, we waited to speak to someone only to be once again being told be met with unpleasantness. The bartender stated, is this what you ordered, if so take it. Mind you we had never been there before and while salsa does resemble salsa, the buffalo dip just looked like cheese sauce. The rudeness and unpleasantness we faced for just two items were honestly more of a hassle than the time we waited or the price we paid. The whole point for stopping was to get a snack, it resulted in waiting 50 minutes for chips and salsa and buffalo dip. It was over priced and not worth it. The Brewery is celebrating the 6th anniversary this year. I had a couple of the hazy IPA's. They were great. Had the opportunity to sample the few beers I was interested in. The other cat came out of nowhere and jumped on my wife's lap and didn't move. We loved it as we have 4 cats of our own. They provide free popcorn. We love this place. People have always been friendly and it's a great stop for some great beer. If you like dill pickle you have to try the dill pickle beer. The honey mead is also a great choice. My personal favorite is the APA. I fortunately the kitchen is currently closing at 7 so we were able to try the food, but we will be back. read more

The whole experience was just meh. Came here on a busy Labor Day Sunday, outside the building looks like a warehouse-type brewery, which lent to the expectation of an ample menu, efficient service, and staff up to the task of handling multiple requests from patrons. Instead you walk into a cramped bar area with very little seating, with the remainder outside (those were filled and there weren't many to begin with), and a menu that is sandwiches, subpar pizza (all sauce, literally one pepperoni on each slice), appetizers (skip the chips and salsa) and beer which was good. Got three sandwiches and they were ok. There were two bartenders, one of whom was amicable enough but often acted as if I wasn't standing there waiting for service though she clearly saw me, the other clearly did not want to be there and made it evident. I noticed the "regulars" were treated better, lol. I want to stress, the beer is good and we enjoyed what we picked. The rest is just meh, and for the money spent i won't be back. There are almost no good dining/beer options in this area, so if any entrepreneurs are thinking of a brewpub, do it here as you will absolutely wipe the floor with the current options available. read more

Went to Hocking Hills for a little getaway and was pleasantly surprised to find a nearby brewery. Honestly, Brewery 33 gets a star out of convenience and proximity. There were other breweries about a 20 minute drive more, but we didn't want to get too far out. Brewery 33 is a more intimate setting than I had imagined, reminds me of a small town vibe? We received a warm welcome by the bartender upon arrival and she ran through the beer list to point out the fan favorites. We got two flights to try their beers while watching the OSU game. The brewery has that friendly environment where we were chatting with another couple watching the game. We sat at the high top seats facing the tv where the "tables" were re purposed doors! I saw a door knob and it took me a second to realize - how cool! My favorite drink was the Mingo Mango gose! They cut their Gateway Gose with some mango juice for a tropical and sweet infusion of flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the Gateway Gose itself, but I love mango juice, so the fusion was refreshing. The rest of the beers were pretty solid - we had a range of different kinds - but I wasn't entirely impressed with it as a whole. Some other things: -We brought some of our own games but they have a variety of games to play right under the tv. -They are dog friendly! We had some good boyes laying so patiently that I forgot they were there until the owners left! -They don't have full meals for food there but they do have bar snacks. The brewery is located next to some restaurants, which we went to beforehand. -The road to the brewery is a little isolated so just keep the GPS running. We were at a restaurant basically next door, but we had to exit the plaza area to take the road to get to the brewery. They do have a great variety of beers to choose from and the location is just so convenient for the area. I'll be checking out some of the other breweries when I'm around again! read more

Great selection of brews, though I had to pass since I was driving out into the Hills. I just had a root beer, and theirs was good but different. Very strong wintergreen flavor, so if you're into that, cool; if not, pass on it. I got a "crowler" to go, a large can they seal up there. It was $5, not at all bad for the quantity and convenience. Very hard to get to. You can see it from the highway, but it is way way back on a service road. It's not even by the hotel or the other restaurants, so follow your GPS and your internal map, and head back past the storage units. read more

Brewery 33 opened a couple years ago. It's located close to Lake Logan. This is a great stop after hiking in the park. Just kind of hard to see from behind the buildings. Many good selections on tap. It has a good variety. It has some lighter while a few are heavier. One thing they seem to like a lot are sours. It has a few. My favorite is the Gateway Gose. It's kind of sour but not overly fruity. They also have this made with hot pepper sauce. It's not overly expensive. It's about $4.50 for 12 ounces. The pints are $5 to $6 or so. It also has flights for $7. Pretty good price for this. If you need something cold and fruity get a Mingo Mango slushie. Good options other than beer. Not impressed. The venue itself is cool but the most important part the beer, was average at best and the spicy pumpkin porter nearly made me sick. Had a sour almost vinegary finish. Porters should be sweet, rich and have a smooth finish. They have a wide variety of styles but again very average. After hiking Old Mans Cave, we decided to check our Brewery 33 as we hadn't been before. We arrived right as they opened (noon) hoping that it wouldn't be busy on a Thursday... and we were right! Not that it would have mattered as they had ample, safely spaced indoor & outdoor seating available. We sat outside in the grasses area so that our baby could crawl around while dad enjoyed a tasting flight. There was corn hole, a beer garden & live music apparently in the evening too. The young staff member that served us was super polite & friendly. The whole place was extremely clean, sanitizer at every table, entrance & exit too. So fun that everything is brewed there. We grabbed a 4-pack to go and learned that they can it right there on the premises too! So fun! read more

Cool spot to hang out after a long day out on the trails. They don't have a kitchen, which means that they are dog friendly! You can carry in any food you'd like, or even have food delivered to the brewery itself. They have a wide range of brews on tap that are made in house. The Hot Chocolate Spicy Mexican Stout is a winner. The people working will answer any questions, provide samples, and provide some friendly conversation. It really is worth the visit if you want a couple beers and want to bring your doggo. One problem, it doesn't appear that they have cable... the TVs that were on had slideshows of photos playing. if you're trying to catch a game, this isn't the spot. read more

Loved it. Visited Hocking Hills National Park for the first time and at the direction of the father in law gave this place a try. Glad we did. Bar tender was patient while we made our selections. The interior had a beer smell which made sense given the brewery. Lots and lots of outdoor space with games and kittens that kept our kids entertained. Liked it so much we came a second time during our trip. We didn't try any of the food this time but next we will plan too. This will be on our list to revisit in the future. read more

This place is cute and an easy chill and relax at. Their pictures on the wall and brewery room looked really cool. They have board games and stool seating inside although the space isn't that big. This pace is great to listen to some easy music and catch a bite at the food truck stand right next to the br3w3ry! They should put up bushes or trees to hide the storage units area and the freeways you look out over, so it feels a bit more "country" but it's not too bad. I was very surprised to find a brewery in this area where there's not a whole lot else. Certainly, each beer was distinguishable from the next, despite another reviewer's complaint. The ESB was spot on to style, and a great find as not many brewers produce this style anymore. The IPAs that were on tap were all very good and used various combinations of hops and grain, so they were a bit different from each other (different sub styles). The Milkshake IPA (Hazy or New England style) was awesome and the best of the bunch. Big marks as well for the Porter. Solid brews all around and a great bar tender (Laci I think was her name...). I'm very familiar with breweries with small tap rooms and no food but snacks, so be prepared to sit outside in the wonderfully HUGE Biergarten, and don't come hungry unless you plan to have food delivered. Again, this is normal for a ton of breweries around me locally, so no complaints. I just wonder how their seating will work when the cold weather hits? Growlers, howlers and crowlers to go as well... Excellent find and I'll certainly stop by if I'm in the area again! read more

First time to visit, we were greeted right away, sit where you like and order from the bar. Staff were friendly, chatty and quick with the orders. The beer was the highlight. Some great craft beer!
