Brewhaus was absolute fire. I got the sampler so I could try a bit of everything and have to say the pretzel and kraut balls are so worth it. I'm going to try and duplicate the kraut balls they were that good. As for food the snitzel and potato cakes

Great German beer on tap here- weihenstephan hefe. Friendly, small bar. Nice outdoor area- just too hot for me today. . We had some beer indoors and enjoyed it. Would love to come back to eat- solid menu with some German food, salads and sandwiches. Chloe was our server- friendly, helpful and fast. She's the best! Would definitely recommend coming here.

a friend and i came a few weeks ago to try it out since we always went for mediterranean or japanese style cuisines. the exterior is very unassuming and the inside appears clean. our server was a bit standoffish but was nice. he was also tending to the bar several feet away so i can't blame him for his absence the majority of our meal. my friend got the Bavarian Pretzel and the Honey Bacon Deviled Eggs (not pictured). the pretzel was the best part of the entire experience, it was so soft and salty and pairing it with pimento cheese was delicious! the deviled eggs had a mix of different mustards (according to the chef that came out) and it gave such a complex flavor that i didn't particularly care for them. the variety of meats i got in the platter weren't bad either. we also got one of their seasonal bread puddings that i can't quite recall the name of it - but it had apples and not much else going for it. the sauerkraut was the most disappointing - very watery and bland. i would likely only come back for the Bavarian Pretzel but i am really glad i finally stopped by to try it out.

My family loves German food and we have high standards. Brewhaus was delicious! We had schnitzel, spaetzle, red cabbage, the hamburger and a pretzel for starters. The pretzel was really good along with the mustards and pimento cheese, a must get! The schnitzel (with mushroom gravy), spaetzle and red cabbage were all fantastic! The burger (my son ordered) was really good as well. It was char-grilled and the meat was very good. If you like German food and the vibes of a small town hangout this is right up your alley!

We decided to try to go on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised with being able to walk right in and sit on the outside deck. We were met with glasses of water and menus. We chose the Brewhaus sampler, adding pimento cheese and it was scrumptious. The kraut balls were a standout but really that's just by a bit because it was all delicious. We washed it all down with some draft cider and hefe beers. All in all, a wonderful Saturday evening on the Northshore.

    Sampler Appetizer

Returned after a first visit two years ago. Still great, though this visit caught me not too long after a late lunch, so we didn't order a main. We got the appetizer sampler and four sides and shared it all. Pretzel is the star of the show. Don't bother with the pimento cheese add-on. It was melty in a weird way and warm. Kraut balls were good. The brat sliders were brat sliders. Nothing special. As before: the slaw and the cabbage were excellent. Grilled squash and zucchini were good also. The potato pancakes gave "flat tater tot" vibes. Atmosphere is nice, staff were great.

This is a great place in Chattanooga to have a beer and a pretzel. The view was amazing and the service was fantastic. We sat there for a few hours.

Had may dog and needed pet friendly option . Nice patio - Biergarten. Servers were friendly and brought us a water bowl. My daughter had a chicken pecan salad sandwich. She liked lit and left none behind. Fries were potato nuggets . I ate some of her's . Nicely done. I had a spicy brat with kraut and cider mustard. My side was spaetzle . Would come back. Small parking lot but public log just down the street .

We visited during a snowy day in Chattanooga, which normally would have meant sitting on the patio. The patio is heated and dog-friendly, but with the weather being particularly unpleasant, the staff graciously allowed me to join my humans indoors as long as I stayed in my carrier. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Several servers stopped by to say hello, compliment me on my excellent restaurant manners, and generally make me feel like an honored guest. The food was excellent, and my humans enjoyed their meal while I was treated to a side of chicken that disappeared surprisingly fast. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm throughout our visit. The restaurant itself has a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of character. One of my favorite features was the giant cow mural, which provided excellent entertainment while I waited for my chicken to arrive. I spent several minutes making sure none of the cows planned to leave the wall. What stood out most was how accommodating the staff was. They didn't just tolerate a dog--they made us feel welcome. Dogba's verdict: Great food, wonderful service, heated patio seating, emergency snow-day hospitality, and cows that thankfully stayed inside the paint.

We tried a few beers from Five Wits and per her recommendation got the creamsicle shake as well. Solid beverage choices. The shake tasted part float part milkshake and it was absolutely delicious. Would order again. The food on the other hand was a bit eh. We ordered the Asian q burger and the mushroom melt burger and it took quite a while for them to come out and when they did they had unfortunately been left on the grill for way too long and were charred and crunchy. One set of our fries was cold and the bun to burger ratio was extremely off. Luckily, the staff agreed that our burgers were accidentally overcooked and they remade them no questions asked. The remade burgers were moist and better but still not fantastic. They were just burgers with minimal toppings on them. Not really seasoned and the flavor came from the toppings themselves. The buns were still too big for the burgers so there was a lot of extra bread and they have potential to be great but they were just average. Would have probably been a three star review but the staff and drink selection really earned the extra star. Would go back to drink and maybe snack but probably not order a burger.

They were okay, but for 5 bucks...what do you expect?‍. I would say the accompanying butter was supposed to be honey butter, but it seemed like regular butter to me! The atmosphere is relaxed, but there isn't much to the decor. It was just casual.... there was brown butcher paper on top of white table cloths...kind of tacky really. It was busy, however, which added to the noise. Hubby and I both ordered the 1885 burger. Now, we are talkin'! The burger was delicious! . It was juicy and tasty. Just an all around fantastic burger. It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.

I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh!…read more Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.
