Our intention was to try a few of the different specialty cake/bakery stores in the Springfield, IL area, but after meeting Dena and tasting her incredible cupcakes, there was no need. She had the most delicious freshly baked cupcakes waiting for us and was very helpful on design ideas and budget needs. So affordable! She truly cared about what we wanted and I was impressed with how fun and welcoming her bakery is. It is as colorful as she is! I have so many things to stress about leading up to the wedding, but this is not one of them! I have ordered from this bakery on several occasions for work or personal events. Recently I referred a couple of people to Cookie Creations and they trusted the baker to fulfill their order for a large gathering. The order was placed a month in advance. Upon corresponding for pickup on the day before the event- they were hung up on and notified thru Facebook that the oven wasn't working and there are no cookies or cupcakes for the event the very next day. Meanwhile all kinds of cookie designs were being advertised throughout the weekend for pickup. Thank goodness for Kirby Foods IGA bakery coming to the rescue and saving the day.
