We had just got out of the Texans game. Heading out of town, so we stopped here to eat. Nice sports bar, but kinda empty for a Sunday afternoon. Service was pretty good. Plenty of seating. There is a bar in the back with more seating. The place was clean. Ernest got wings, he said they were okay Andrew got the chicken tenders, they looked good, he wasn't hungry, but he ate all 4 of the tenders. I had the burger, it was pretty bland, good size burger, but no flavor. read more

This is a typical corporate style corporate feel sports bar. You have your typical bar style fried food, wings and all the garbage mainstream corporate beer labels everyone knows. I didn't see any good beers on the menu and if there was any craft beer it certainly didnt catch my attention. We stopped in during what many would consider happy hour. 4 or 5 beers on the menu were not available, and those were just the ones we tried picking. Their happy hour beer price was insane at $1.50 a beer. Should be a lot more people here when beer is so cheap but it was dead and depressing inside. Regular prices are also not bad at all. Their fried mushrooms were nice and big. All of the fried food was very salty but it was expected. I think for most people wanting their bud light and wings this place offers a good deal but for me it was a one and done kinda place. I wouldn't say that the wings here ever Brew me away, maybe Pluckers did but not here. However they're at least 275 times better than Buffalo Wild Wings - trust me. The service here was nice, the wings were pretty hot (but we'd still like them more sizzling right out of the fryer). By Houston standards I can give just about 4 stars. If this was Buffalo they'd be 2 star wings - problem is I lived in Buffalo for decades. Luckily then, they're in Houston. And a local chain, with plenty of other spots too, some of them not as tasty as this one. read more

Absolute worst Brewingz I've ever been to! It's always dead in here! The food is as expected. But, they're always out of something. Every time I've been here they're out of basic things. One time it was the fries. How do you not have fries on a Sunday afternoon!?!!?!? And no cheese sticks on a Monday night for MNF!?!? Half the staff is good, other half seems like they don't care. This is a "sports" bar that doesn't know how to turn on sports on the TVs. It's a sports "bar" that doesn't have a beer menu. It took 25 minutes for them to figure out how to get 3 college football games showing. They have 15 TVs and 0 clue how to work them. There was only 3 tables with customers, each of us wanting a different college football game on, and apparently they needed to launch the satellites into orbit first before we could get the games to show on the TVs. read more

My husband and I loved this place the wings are amazing and the deals. But this place honestly needs new management. Today we went in for our usual wings and beer. We walked and we were greeted. The person serving us had neck pain and bad customer service. My husband ordered a draft beer and there was a fruit fly. If I hadn't seen it or warned him he would have probably swallowed the fly. At that point we decided to advise the server about the issue. He didn't apologize which made me upset. My husband then ordered a bottled beer. The server then served it with attitude when the server brought out the beer my husband then told the server he was going to take it to go and pay for it. Dont know whats been up with Brewingz past few times I have been there but hasn''t been good. Last time I ordered to go they had my order ready to far in advance even though I specified time I would be there. I got home and wings were soggy and not even warm. They shorted me a few wings and forgot my ranch. I placed another order yesterday and these wings were so DDRRYYY. Seems they fryed them EXTRA CRISPY because they were so hard and each wing tasted the same! Don''t know how that happens even though I ordered diff flavors. We walked in at about 6pm on a Saturday and the place was completely empty. All employees were sitting around a table chatting on their phones while the whole restaurant looked as though a tornado had been through it. Every table had trash on top of and around it as well as food crumbs and empty styrofoam cups knocked over and no one seemed bothered to even acknowledge it. They sat us down and our server was present and didn't leave us waiting too long despite reviews saying against that. As we were sitting waiting for our food employees continued hanging out and talking and cussing in the corner ignoring the absolute mess of a restaurant right in front of them. The store was empty with no customers and it makes sense why. And with no customers there were plenty of free employees who could have cleaned up and made the place at least look semi-presentable (which it was nowhere near). The ironic and sad part was that the bathrooms were cleaner than the rest of the restaurant. Once they noticed us taking pictures was when someone started to clean up which was actually our waitress. Our waitress Belinda, was the only employee doing her job and it seemed like she was doing other people's jobs as well. Belinda didn't make us wait too long. Checked up on us. And we have no complaints for her specifically. FOOD We got 15 traditional wings of 3 different flavors and all the wings came out overcooked and dry. However the curly fries were really good. We did not finish our food and didn't bother to get to-go plates because it wasn't worth saving. Overall this place was horrible. Food, service, and the environment all horrible. This place needs that Kitchen Nightmare show to somehow revive itself. Otherwise an entire staffing replacement except for Belinda from our experience. read more

Let me say that although they are known for their wings hence the name brew-Wingz, their surf & turf is every bit as worthy of being a notable best selling dish. The service was fantastic as well from the friendly entrance to the speedy service overall this place is very deserving of 5 stars. Side note-they also contribute to the community as well, this past weekend they were hosting a school supply drive to donate school supplies which is major, I enjoy volunteering and seeing local businesses give back to the community warms my heart and shows how much they appreciate the community that eats at their establishment, it's full circle and I love them for it, thank you brewingz! read more

This is the second time at different locations that I wasn't served me and my wife came at 7 . The place wasn't packed.the bartender took our order and drink orders.19 minutes later no drinks..asked. Bartender where was appetizer and he said one minute. 20 minutes later we cancelled the order and left.we were only served one coke. Never spoken to after...I will never eat at brewing and if you are African American ,you should forget this place racist management will ensure you get poor service . Food is always hot and fresh, their happy hour is amazing and they always have some sort of special on wings. Their servers in our experience, have always been very good. David has been our server several times, we know we can't go wrong with him because he is friendly, gets our odrer right, and honestly he's just all around an excellent server. read more

Understaffed, service was slow before COVID, but now it's even worse than before. I'm so glad I found this place. Because the last two places I tried to go to where completely awful. As soon as I walked in the hostessed, that was wearing a mask, asked if I want to sit at a table. I told her that I was looking to just watch the Yankees vs Astros game. So she directed me to the back of the restaurant where the bar was located. Kat was the bartender and she could not have been more attentive without being hovering. I was sitting at a place, in the bar, that had a TV showing the Yankees vs Astros game. I asked to speak to the manager, not because of any problems I had with this establishment. So Kat got Leslie to come over to talk to me. Leslie did explain that it is Texas law that they cannot serve any patrons that come in with an open container. I truly appreciated her honesty and she understood where I was coming from. I told her that I was trying to watch the game at a "sports bar" but it was too smoky. Then I told her I tried to go to an Irish pub, but they told me I couldn't be served any alcohol because I came in with an open container. Well, Texas law is fucked up !! But I want to say that Leslie and Kat were very accommodating. read more

My family loves coming for the wings and cheese fries, so delicious. Service sometimes is a hit or miss. Sometimes we have really good attentive servers and on other occasions we're not so lucky. But it does have a good family friendly environment. So overall I would still keep going. read more
