Both times I ordered the maple and salt latte, with whole milk. The flavor was unique and different. Good stuff. The young lady behind the counter was super pleasant to talk to. I didn't catch her name, but then I never do. She mentioned she has spent time in LA and helped me figure out which whole-bean coffee to buy for espresso. It really is the only coffeehouse in town, besides Cafe Toya, but the coffee is much better. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is a great little oasis on the inside. Very cool and peaceful, with a bilingual library for book swapping. Free Wifi is a plus, since a lot of the internet cafes in town have closed or have unreliable hours. Graciela, the owner, has lactose free options and yummy homemade baked goods. If you're staying at Hostel Sauzal up the road, it's a quick 5 minute stroll. Convenient hours both in the morning and evening, 7 days a week. Closed Sunday mornings.

They do accept Apple Pay and credit cards but it's been a year since I came here, not sure if I did that last time. I already was holding up the line so I just said I would take pesos for change. Next time I am here, I will bring smaller bills as they don't have change. Today this place is a Ceviche shop and the old cafe bar was moved upstairs and is no longer active. I've been down a dozen or so times in the past year and have yet to see Memo around.
