My wife and I were looking for a place to relax and have a cocktail while in Eureka. I had been in Brews before and had a great experience so we decided to give it a try. After an early morning of fishing we were hungry for lunch around 11am before many restaurants around this area open on a Sunday. We stumbled across Brews and were so happy. I got a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and an iced coffee. They even have coffee cubes instead of ice cubes! The tots were fresh and hot out of the fryer. Really great little pit stop for coffee or beer. My wife had been here the last time we were in town but this was my first. My only complaint was the milk was nuclear hot but I won't ding them for it bc the overall taste was great. Not too bitter and not too sweet which is just the right amount! The muffin tasted like any store bought muffin but our friends got a sandwich and chili dog and were pleasantly surprised. I only wish I would have gotten a beer too but it was a little early. Great coffee shop that kinda reminds me of Central Perk because of the small stage for live music as well as their high top tables & couches. The coffee has a great flavor as well as their chai tea. While we didn't order food, the menu on the wall indicated a variety of options from hot dogs to lox & bagels. While some coffee shops are small & crowded, Brews has 2 large areas with gender neutral bathrooms off of each.
