Nice cafe with food we love. The service was excellent and the food was quick and hot. You know it's the place when all the locals eat there. We ordered breakfast and it came out exactly how we ordered it.

Best breakfast in the state and my favorite restaurant in Eureka Spring. Blue berry pancakes are amazing and the service is quick and friendly

They let us come in early to have coffee while we waited for them to open, allowed us to order early as well. The food was amazing and our server was the sweetest person. I will definitely be coming back! The scenery was great, it was a very cute and welcoming place to stop for breakfast.

Looking for a brunch spot in Eureka Springs?? Main Street Cafe is THE place to go! Start your morning off with a hot cup of coffee and a class of cold milk! The country ham was spectacular. I also had a side of homemade shredded potatoes, 2 over easy eggs, and a juicy biscuit. The omelet was amazing as well. We didn't make a reservation and got in time before the line. Regardless of the wait..totally worth it!

Seems like a simple diner with simple food. They had a friendly guy manning the front desk a few servers flitting about one of which seems a bit grumpy, I'll leave you to figure out which is which. lol. I ordered one biscuit with sausage gravy and scrambled eggs. It was delicious! Would highly recommend. Coffee was simple but, decent. $15 kind of pricey.

Cute little restaurant on one of the main streets in Eureka Springs. Staff was great and very friendly and attentive. My roast beef sandwich was really good. The Beef was really tender and had great flavor. The potatoes didn't seem like fresh made but from a box. They were ok but not great. The green beans were again, ok but nothing special. My husbands sandwich was really good. I tasted it. Fried perfectly and really tender. I would order that if we went again,

They were closed on a day they said they open. The annex also. So don't believe everything you read.

Ok service--a little grumpy. Pretty good food. There is a parking lot across the street, but you have to download an app to pay the meter.

On the way in, a person eating recommended the patty melt, which both I and my fiancé ordered.

Our order: 1 Jack Daniels & Coke = $6.00 2 Kids Juice = $3.98 2 Mac & Cheese = $13.98 (my daughter had two servings) 1 Kids Grilled Cheese = $5.79 1 Patty Melt = $9.99 1 Slice Possum Pie = $3.99 Service was on the slow side both times. The food is reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. The ambiance is similar too, although, Mae's has many old photos of historic Eureka Springs which I adored. We all shared a piece of possum pie which is a famous layered dessert of Arkansas. I'd never had it, but was dying to try it. Highly recommend. The sweet two little old ladies beside us asked about it... There is a small gift shop with local items on display such as jewelry, books, and several foods in jars. Not sure if I'm a raving fan just yet, but it's a good go-to restaurant if everything else is crowded. They do close a bit early, though. We were early for the season. We had excellent service from Kristen who was very friendly, informative, and attentive. I had the chicken topped with all of topping, odd goat cheese, and balsamic drizzle. It was fabulous. Also liked the mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the creamy Gorgonzola pasta dish with caramelized onions and cherry tomatoes. There were several good looking desserts, but we were too full to try any. Ambience fairly simple but a row of cute lamps lining the shelf up above. There's a small restaurant area as well as a bar area. Some tables outside, but it was too cool for us to try that. Great place in Eureka Springs.

The food matches the setting. The crab cakes are better than most places--crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and not overly heavy. The cobb salad is a standout too--loaded with a great mix of toppings (definitely check the pic), fresh, and actually filling. The meatball & grits were solid, and the wedge fries on the side hit the spot--simple but done right. This is an easy, go-to lunch spot whether you're taking a break from exploring downtown or wrapping up a day walking around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to slow things down for a bit.
