Everyone I know near O'Fallon goes to Brewskeez from time to time. Is it because it's a great bar? I wouldn't go that far. They've got a few things right. The ladies night was pretty hopping last night, although earlier on I wasn't sure if it was a singles bar or a swingers bar, based on the age group at the time. Once the band started playing, two things happened. People showed up, which was good, and I ceased to be able to carry on a conversation, which was not so good. Some bars like to play their music a little loud, fine, but this was ridiculous. Even the waitresses verified it's normally like that, but had no reason why. We hid over by the dart boards in the corner where the sound wasn't such a direct line most of the night. Drink prices weren't expensive, apparently soda is but I got three cocktails for around $11 (house booze, nothing top shelf). I've had appetizers before, and they were ok, nothing exciting really. Other things to note are 3 pool tables, which even last night were easy enough to get a game on, and 5 or so dart boards. The dance floor is a bit small, as previously noted. The one at Palomino Nights is bigger. All in all, this is a pretty average bar, that does well because it's a lot closer to most of the area than Main Street St. Charles. If you're east of O'Fallon, you might as well look for a better place in St. Charles, if you're west of it, there's several better bars in the Wentzville area (Icehouse, Maggie Malone's, Aftershock). If you live in Monticello, you probably love Brewskeez. I forgot one thing when I first submitted this review, oddly it was one of the main points I meant to include in the first place. The bartender was a complete witch when we moved our tab from the bar to the floor. If their tabs/tips system is that big of a pain, they either need to fix it or higher more intelligent (read: less blond) bartenders that don't get so confused by such a common occurrence. Was very disappointed that I had to pay a $7 cover charge (which I have never paid over $5 anywhere else) at 7:00 at night! I can understand a cover charge after 8:00 or so but before then it's still the dinner crowd and I think it's ridiculous that my husband and I had to pay $14 just to walk in the door! Will definitely choose somewhere else next time We have a party of 10 going out like we had last night! Food was good! Waitress had way too many tables to give good service! This is basically your standard sport bar and grill, nothing too original or exciting. But it's still a fun place to get a drink or watch some live music. Once I went here around Halloween--it was a blast. That 80's Band was playing, everyone was dancing and wearing costumes. They have a decent stage and a big dance floor, which is great. It's also a fantastic place to watch games. They have a ton of TVs and one massive TV that everything centers around. We went here for the last MU/ KU football game (I am a Mizzou fan) and it was so much fun. There were fans from both sides, everything was good-natured, and we won, which only added. Bad service, bad food, fantastic music. First visit on a Saturday night. Arrived at 7:30 to find the place overflowing already. $7 cover charge just to get on the door. No place to sit because all the tables were reserved. Finally got a table at 8:15 when unoccupied reserved tables were freed. Took an hour and a half to get our food. Pulled pork was way overdone, dry and tasteless. Brisket was the same. Wings were excellent, but cold. Mac and cheese was gummy and bland. Waitress was good but far too over-extended. read more

I came here last night for an engagement party. I know...classy, right? It was a really informal thing, guys! I'm down with that. My best friend seemed to enjoy it, and so did everyone else. The night I went (Friday) there was a 5 dollar cover, since a live band was there (I believe their name was Vote for Pedro). They weren't too bad, and played a nice mix of cover songs. I didn't eat here, but I did pay three dollars for a soda. That sorta thing makes me wonder how much the alcoholic beverages were! The highlight (if I can call it that) of the night was the huge fight that broke out near the bar. The staff did a fairly decent job at breaking it up and kicking the offenders out of the bar...where it continued outside. Imagine 7 or 8 people just going at it in the parking lot; fists swinging like crazy. I thought I was at a hockey game or something! My group was seated right by the window, so we had a front row seat to the fight, in all 5 minutes of it's glory. Seriously; it took a LONG time before it was broken up. I probably wouldn't come back, if for no other reason than it was a 30 minute drive from where I live. Oh, and the safety thing. Real classy, O'Fallon-ites. It's a divey sports bar...enough said. I was here on a Thursday night, which happens to be ladies night. Now, what's great about ladies night here, all drinks are free. What isn't great about it, you basically have to ask for the free beers or they will try to sell you the bottles...I mean, that's a little annoying, but I guess they are just trying to make money for the bar, which is their job. I sat at the bar and basically realized this is the kind of establishment where 20 and 30 something men go after their construction jobs, throw on their best Old Navy apparel, and try to pick up bleached blond girls slugging back their tiny cups of free Bud Light. The bar is smoky as can be and the stink will cling to you until you wash your hair at least twice. The local band playing was more or less horrible, but regardless, people seemed to really enjoy them...they were dancing and everything to the bad loud horns and cowbell mixture which I must say I didn't fully understand. All in all, it isn't horrible, especially if you don't have your expectations up. read more

Great food. Friendly environment. Everything tastes fresh and they even made us fried pickles that were no longer on the menu. We had a party of 6 and they pushed tables together for us. The Reuben was fantastic! Full of meat and flavor. And so were the ribs and brisket. The ribs were very meaty and not full of too much fat. The brisket was tender and smoked with great flavor. Someone asked for a WELL DONE burger and it was perfectly charred. If you're like me, you don't order Mac n cheese when you're out... the Mac n cheese here was even impressive. I tasted it and wished I woulda got that instead of onion rings. It was real cheese and had bacon bits in it. I also tasted the pineapple coleslaw. It actually wasn't too fruity- which for me was a good thing. Lol Overall this was a much better food experience than I had expected from a bar atmosphere. We will be returning. If you go with no expectations, then I suppose this place isn't so bad. It's just a usual no frills bar in O'Fallon. Full of smoke, locals, and bad music. On my way out the door, a girl asked me if she looked alright. As I replied with "Yeah you look nice" her boyfriend then confronted me for hitting on his girl. I liked coming here. The food was great. Seems like the current staff is below par though. Nothing for our order was right. I did feel bad for the bartender working both the bar and waiting tables at the same time. This caused a fairly long wait and possibly the reason why nothing was right. I'm not normally a fan of large "country" style bars but I think I can make an exception for Brewskeez. First time I came here was for lunch. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with the pub chips. The pub chips were so awesome! The food was a bit expensive but totally worth it. My friends ordered wings and they all contended that they were the best wings outside of St. Louis. The second time I went to Brewskeez was for a birthday party. Our waitress was great and as attentive as possible. There was a fantastic cover band and everyone in the establishment was having a great time. The place was packed and the very obviously understaffed. We were told that there was only one kitchen cook and the waitress was way overworked. She kicked ass for as busy as it was. At one point the bartender screwed up a drink and refused to fix her error. Big no-no. Otherwise, it was a pretty great time on both occasions. read more

Like I said I travel a bunch and eat at some of the best restaurants and I can tell you that they really have i going on Wow BBQ is Smokin if you think you've had the best then I recommend you try Brewskeez then you be the judge. The sides are also spot on I will definitely be a repeat customer. And you will too Also on several nights they seem to have different forms of entertainment and pool tables. Was here tonight to see a band play. Really fun place with a good crowd. Only reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that I didn't try the food and the wait staff serving the tables seemed a bit slow. But the pros? The bartenders are on top of it and good service. Highly recommend the "Missouri's Own Mule". They've done what I thought impossible and improved on the Moscow Mule. Very delicious and made promptly every time I made a trip to the bar. It's not fancy or groundbreaking, but if you're looking for a fun, low-key night out, give Brewskeez and the Missouri's Own Mule a try! read more

Avoid this place!! Weak drinks and lady manager was the worst! Spend over $400 going here 2 straight nights for 2 people. We always travel 3-4 times a week with at least 15 ppl and everyone was complaining about weak drinks. Waitress says they hear that all the time so please say something. I stopped in here the other day to sample Brewskeez BBQ. I had the brisket and also the pork. I'll start with the brisket. Moist, tender, a beautiful smoke ring, and absolutely awesome! Now on to the pork. Tender, juicy, great texture and flavor! For one of my sides, I was intrigued by the pineapple Cole slaw. I was really glad I ordered this. There wasn't really a pineapple taste but what an awesome way to add a unique sweet to the slaw! All in all a great experience and a fantastic place to grab a quick lunch. Brewskeez has always been known as a place to catch some killer live music but I think we've all been missing the boat for lunch. The food is fantastic and the owner obviously cares about the product they are putting on the table. If your skipping this place for lunch you're missing out on a sure thing! read more

We were out for a drive and saw this place. We remember going to the one in north county and the food was so good there so we went in to see if it was the same one. Well to our surprise it was. We waited at the door to be acknowledged there were waitresses running around acting busy but no one helped us as the sign told us to wait. Another couple came in so we decided to make our way to the bar area. We went to a table at the bar cause everyone was spaced out at bar (social distancing) and there was no room so we sat at a table. (Also social distanced which was nice) That was after we had to get passed a super loud drunk guy who wouldn't move so we could get passed him. I said excuse me twice and my husband had to tap him on the shoulder before he moved. But then again we sat with no acknowledgement what so ever from bartender. Evidently once you go past a certain point she waits on you. She had 9 people at bar and us at a table. We waited and waited she finally pulled another waitress to give us menus and get our drink order. And we waited and waited she finally came from behind the bar without our drinks and she took our order again even tho we saw the other waitress give her our order. My husband and I looked at each other and said at the same time "we r not regulars". And we were going to order full meal but quickly realized if this is how we r treated because not regulars we will just get someone small. We both loved the stuffed mushrooms so that's all we ordered. I wanted the beef brisket meal and he wanted the ribs but not with this service. Then as we waited and waited and others got their drinks filled twice and the loud guy got worse we finally got the mushrooms and another beer. My husband was so mad he wanted to leave but we stayed and ate the mushrooms. Which by the way were awesome. Then as we waited for our bill after asking twice. We got to watch the obnoxious guy start to pull waitresses aside and tell them what they were doing wrong. Holy crap this guy is either the owner or manager but let me tell you he should not be talking to the staff in that manner. How demeaning and what a tool. We will NEVER go back to watch that show and the only reason 1 star was cause the mushrooms were good. Be warned if your not a regular you won't count and sad thing is we would totally drive out of our way to eat here as regulars but no way now. read more

Place is awful. Two guys tried fighting me and my buddy after hearing I was in the military and missed a punch... the bouncers didn't even kick them out... so I walked to the bar (where he was) and he was all up on me so I pushed him off (just with my hip), the bouncers came up to ME and said I stared the problem... and kicked me out... never seen such a joke of a bar and we were there supporting a local band we knew personally.. after we were on the van the two kids tried fighting us in the van.. even opened the two back doors and everything to try to fight us after everything... won't be going back to my family's local bar.. even for the band (contagious). read more

I liked this quaint little dive. Visiting from dallas I was shocked that this was a Cowboys bar!!! Drinks were dirt cheap as well and the small crowd here was fun. If visit again but I doubt I'll ever be this far out again. read more

Bands are good, food is decent. But when you spend all evening dancing and drinking then you ask for a glass of water..... They won't give it to you. They hand you a bottle of water they got from the grocery store and charge you a $1 for it. Everytime you want a glass of water, they charge you $1. Even the server(s) both of them that took care of us, said it was a stupid policy. We spent $78 for food, beers and some shots. And they had the audacity to charge us $1 for a bottle of water. On top of a $7 cover charge to get in the door, even if you order food! It is about as cheap as you can be. Other bars have the same bands and they recognize that at the end of the night you get thirsty for something other than alcohol, so they gladly offer you a glass of water. Not this place. read more

What is this a college fraternity? At least the fraternity waited until the band started. Then seated on our own and immediately asked to open a tab. Definitely not normal for a restaurant. We go here often to see the bands. Service has always been terrible. Last night was no exception. Dr. Zhivegas was playing and it was packed. It took us forever to get our first round and it was next to impossible to get drinks or water after that. Paying an $8 cover charge in O'Fallon is ridiculous. I'm a big fan of brewskeez, I've been here a couple of times during live music on Fridays and had a great time both occasions. The food's not too bad neither are their drinks. It is a huge facility so you are rarely bumping elbows except for when you get close to the dance floor which is always expected. Stopped in this past Sat night to see Joe Dirt. Tried to get a drink at the bar. I stood in a large open space and there seemed to be two bartenders. I never was even acknowledged that it would be a minute or anything even when they were directly in front of me. I was there what seemed like ten minutes but in reality was probably five. Went to our table, the poor waitress had a very large section, she was nice when I was able to get a drink but it took a very long time. This place has always seemed to have an issue with service going back 5 years and it still remains an issue. I will not be going back. Overall it was busy but not really that packed as it has been in other times I had been there (years). I dropped in here on a Saturday evening for a get together. The only items sampled from the food menu were the chicken wings which were extra crispy with flavorful sauce and pizza which had crispy thin crust, a good flavor of sauce, and a nice amount of toppings. There were about 10 different types of common beer on tap and a small selection of macrobrew bottles. The wait staff seemed friendly but somewhat slow to attend to tables, perhaps a bit understaffed when the crowds picked up. Speed of food delivery was average. There are quite a few TVs to catch the game as well as pool tables, dart boards, and an arm wrestling table. A band started playing around 9pm to provide some additional entertainment. It seemed like a decent enough sports bar, nothing too exceptional while having above average food. I'd come back in the future. read more

It may be a good place to listen to music,but the food is horrible. I went in to watch football yesterday and order my kids 2 orders of pub pretzels to go. When I got home with the 14.00 kids snack of pretzels they were hard as rocks. My dogs had a hard time eating them. I will never spend another dollar at Brewskeez. read more

One of my favorite places in St. Charles County. One of the best places to catch live music, smoke free venue, good stage and sound. bartenders are great and the food is a big step above your average bar food. I've been here only a couple times. Food is good, great beer selection, and friendly people. The bartender was very friendly and carried a conversation with us while taking care of all her other customers. The bar definitely needs to reinvent itself instead of going for the overused "sports bar" theme. But I like this place and would like to see it do well. Went there Saturday night. This has to be the worse service I every had in going out to eat. First the good, the doorman was very helpful in helping us find an empty table and the burger was one of the best I have every had. The wings were pretty good but the ranch dressing was watered down and vey thin. For the bad. I actually thought my family had put the waitress up providing poor service to see how long I would stay. She screwed up every time we ordered. We order wings as an appetizer and they came out after our burger, I had to ask for water 4 times before she got around to bringing it, my wife asked for a to go box 5 times, We were there from 7:30 to 11:30 and were only able to get the waitress to bring us 2 drinks. . It took her 25 minutes from the time she brought our bill till she picked it up from our table. The owner is losing lots of money, it cost $11.25 for a crown and seven up tall and vodka tonic. I would have had more than 2 drinks in 4 hours but if you can not get served. Needles to say this is my last visit. read more

So the customer service sucks. The bouncer is on his phone the whole time and I think he's inconvenienced to take your $5 cover... which I can only assume they have because they can't fill a bar on a Saturday night... the manager complains more about being pregnant and unhappy with her staff and complaining about along day than she does recover from a customer service problem and our original waitress... where do I begin. We asked for beer. She doesn't know what's on tap. We ordered a bucket after a long time trying to decide if our beer was even available and then had to ask for ice in it. When we asked for another bucket, we had to ask twice and after 20 minutes, asked another waitress for beer. We placed a food order that came out wrong. I finally picked a waitress that looked competent. Her name is Sarah. She's the only reason we stayed. She's the only one I've found yet that is worth a tip. Go for Sarah. If she's not there, go home. Apparently the cover doesn't even go to the band. The cover started at 7 and the band went on at 9. The band was great, but we payed over $70 for poor service and a manager that never actually apologized for the troubles. Oh and before you think I am being too rough on them for a Saturday night... At the most, there were 10 tables. By the time I got fed up and started voicing my concerns to the manager, there were less than 5 and some people at the bar. 2 big parties of 10 or more left because "the service was shit" as I overheard while they were walking out. This used to be a great place, but the management needs an eye opener. According to some of the staff, the management doesn't even pay them consistently, which I assume is why the Manager was complaining about staff walking out nearly every night. read more

I was there on Saturday night with a group of 8 people and was completely disrespected by the staff. There was a cover charge, but they DID NOT card at the door, so there were underage drunk kids everywhere causing trouble and starting fights. Some inebriated teenager in a Bears sweatshirt knocked one of our friends over, but since they were friends with the "bouncer" we got thrown out, not them. Their "manager" who was no older than 25 was very impolite and rude to our group. We vow never to go back, and will file a complaint with the BBB. read more
