How many Fs can I give it? I give this place one star, but it deserves O stars. The two times I have gone there was nothing but a total nightmare. Bad, bad service. I can't stress it enough. The first time was about 3 years ago. The front axel on my Explorer didn't work and so I dropped it off. They fixed it for a large sum. Six months later it went bad again. It was still under warranty so it should have been resolved at no additional cost. The truck did NOT have any other problems they gave me the truck back again. A week later the axel was bad again. I brought it back and again they fixed it except this time mysteriously the radiator developed a bad leak and needed replacement. I objected because they damaged it, but they would not take ownership. I paid another $500. For something they damaged. Recently I saw they had a new service manager and I thought after a few years things might be different. What a huge mistake going back was. My 2020 explorer ran great and it did NOT have any problems. I received a notice from Ford about a recall. I arranged for an appointment to have the recall serviced. Something about the seatbelts not being safe. Well kick me in my rear. I fell for it again. Today makes two weeks that they have been "working" on it. Then I called and asked for a status. The service advisor says oh the recall is done but there is a problem with the rear lift gate lock. Mind you I did NOT have a problem before I came here. Now they want $500. To fix it. This place is horrible and I warn you don't come here, you will regret it. Now my car has a dealer created issue and they won't own it. I don't have the words to truly express my disappointment and the inconvenience Brewster Ford has caused me. 1) service sucks 2) Quality sucks 3) value sucks I want to sell my car and never look at another Ford ever again. read more

SERVICE DEPT: Calls, NOT returned! Emailed (and through their Contact page via their website), NOT returned! When you do get a person to pick-up, they just quickly state, "Brewster Ford Service, please hold!"... and then crickets! People pick up and immediately place you back into the queue or worse, disconnect you. Did this over 3-days. NO MORE! * I even emailed the person I regularly deal with at the service counter who is still there. NOPE, no return email a week plus later! read more

DO NOT USE BREWSTER FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! They are unreliable! They tell you they will call you back, they don't. I dropped my car off to get my sunroof fixed, they put 50 miles on it. The first time I dropped it off for something else, they put 40 miles on it. They promise and they DON'T DELIVER!!! Do yourself a favor - Go to Park Ford in Mahopac, they are the polar opposite!!!! Highly recommend Brewster Ford. I walked in and customer service introduced me to my sales rep Tim. He was funny, knowledgeable, just a really relatable guy. He walked me through their inventory and we began test drives. He worked with me on the price to meet my budget. We submitted the paperwork and within 48hrs I received a call for from Brian in the finance department. Another great employee, he was knowledgeable and patient. He explained every option and choice I had to make very well. I felt no pressure and picked options that worked best for me. From the time I walked in to the day I drove away in my car was 3 day. They did everything, got me the best financing, handled my insurance, they even detailed a car that I already thought was perfect. When I went to pick it up it somehow looked even better. We purchased our quite expensive vehicle from this dealership in 2021. Sales department was fine, of course at that point in time there was no negotiating, so we paid full price, which we fully expected to do. We also paid for full, extended warranties for pretty much everything. We were told that as long as we had our service done there for the life of the warranty, we would recoup a large portion of what we paid for the warranty. We were all good with this. Well, it went downhill from the very first oil change. I dropped my car off the night before, was told the next day it was ready for pick up. I got dropped off, my ride left, and lo and behold my car had not yet even been touched. To their credit, they scrounged up a loaner car. This, for an OIL CHANGE. The second oil change, the same thing happened, but they could not give me a loaner, according to them it was unheard of to give loaners when you drop your car off for an oil change....totally ignoring the fact that it was their doing (or NOT doing I should say) that caused the need for one. The third time they did an oil change and tire rotation, and things went well. Mind you, at this point, we were already to go elsewhere, based on the previous 2 experiences, but, the warranty deal. The fourth time....we dropped the car off on a Friday morning, for oil change and tire rotation. We were leaving it over night to be picked up on Saturday so that they would have plenty of time for that work, and for the recall repairs that needed to be done. "Yes", they said, to everything. We called Saturday to confirm when to pick up and were told service dept wasn't even open, there was no paperwork to show the car was done. Lots of back and forth and holding on the phone with sales, and luckily they found the paperwork, the car was ready for pick up and luckily they were able to get the keys from the service dept. area. We picked the car up, thinking all of the work had been done, which included the recalls, because we were not told otherwise. About a week later, we get a call to tell us the recall parts were in. But we were told that the recalls were DONE when the oil change was done. They promise to straighten it out and call back. Well, about another week later, I get another call that the recalls actually were not done, but the parts were in and I can now make an appointment. Then, the service person puts me on hold, comes back and tells me, 'never mind' the recalls were just for police vehicles (WHAT THE HECK). I say ok, he apologizes for the confusion, my recalls HAD been done. I get a call BACK, he was WRONG, I DO need the recalls. OK. I am told they need a day and a half to complete the recall work; I am informed they are open on Saturdays one day a month, so we worked out that I would drop my car off on a Thursday evening so they could have it all day Friday and half a day Saturday. They call me back after speaking with the service manager to confirm which Saturday this month they were open, and we make the appointment. I drop my car off Thursday, tell them we will pick it up on Saturday. Saturday morning comes, we call in the morning to confirm pick up time and are told the car hasn't been touched yet. HASN'T BEEN TOUCHED YET, that their 'service technician did not come in'. What happened to it being worked on on Friday?! They said they would start on it as soon as possible and that I could probably pick it up on Monday. Needless to say we feel duped, fooled, lied to. Part of their 'story' of course, when you buy their cars is their fantastic service department. Our bad for not researching that part. If I could give LESS than 1 star, I would. As they took our money, they smiled at us and looked us in the eye when they sold us on why we should buy from them. I get no satisfaction from leaving these kinds of reviews, but this is just ridiculous and beyond comprehension that they can and do operate this way. While I love my vehicle, we 100% regret purchasing from this dealership, and would not use them again. read more

I went to turn my lease in and they were very rude bc I decided to go elsewhere. Lease manager repeatedly kept tell me me "I don't have to take ur car back here at this dealer ship" and he continued to tell me numerous time "I'm doing you a favor" I couldn't believe what I hearing. We were pretty much done with everything and I asked if they will turn plates in or should I take. He said he will handle it... I should've just took them myself bc now it's over 6 weeks later and I'm in danger of getting my license suspended bc of no proof of insurance or registration, in other words they never turn plates in. Very unprofessional, badly managed departments and I recommend not to visit Brewster ford. read more

If I could give Brewster Ford a 10, I would. I was contacted by Mike. Meuse per my blind email regarding a lease. I have never leased before and to boot am on an extremely tight budget. Mike was very attentive to my needs and limitations and immediately responded with any and all updates in attempts to offer me the best possible opportunity to suit my budget. I know I was a difficult situation to make happen but Mike went above and beyond and out on a limb to help me get into my now truck. Made initial appointment for warranty recall work on car in February 2019. Given a service appointment in April 2019. Showed up for appointment and was told part was not in yet. Central Ford warranty information person had promised me part was available back in February and they had assisted in setting up appointment. Of course nobody at Brewster Ford had called me to warn part was not in. Anyhow on showing up I was told that part will come in two more weeks. I subsequently stopped by dealership on three occasions at two week increments and still no part was in. In late May when I called for status they claimed due to employee turnover all my paperwork was lost. Made new appointment for late June. Called late in day to see if car was ready and nobody new status of my repair. They called me back to say car was ready but paperwork had to be completed. I had myself dropped off to hear my car had to be reassembled still and it would take at least an hour. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your car servicing. Never again would I go here. Place is terrible, people just blame others no longer employed and nobody has any clue as to how a business should be operated. read more

Absolutely worst service and experience I've ever had! Bunch of crooks taking advantage of unknowing people. Took my truck in for oil and fuel filters and tire rotation. Quoted something under 400$ and they charged me close to 600. Come to find out they did a bunch of other things I specially did not ask for, they adjusted my bill and now waiting for a refund. I then get home to only look and see they never rotated my tires or even had my wheels off the truck which then brings to mind their multi point inspection.... how do you check brakes without taking my wheels off. So now how do u know they actually changed my fuel filters or did my oil. Also don't bother calling to dispute because its a complete run around and they'll put you on hold or say they'll call you back and they won't. ABSOLUTELY do not do business here!!! read more

I brought my car in for a recall issue. I've been to Park Ford multiple times for the same issue. They were rude, did not explain things, refused to give me a loaner because I did not have an extended warranty plan, and then we're annoyed when I waited for my car. Brewster Ford is completely different. They are professional and courteous. Each time I've had to bring my car in, they were extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the problem I was experiencing.
