That is when we noticed a waterfall under the truck. Looked for a hose leak or a radiator leak, but couldn't see anything. Since it was late afternoon, we decided to deal with it the next day. Looked for auto repair in Brewster, the closest big town 12 miles away, and located Medrano's. What wonderful people! This is a one-man shop and they normally work by appointment only, but when we showed up unannounced, Mr. Jose Medrano came out, took a look, ran a simple diagnostic test and said it was the water pump. He said he would order the pump and, since our truck is also our RV, do the work in one day. We drove back to camp. My husband took the truck over the next morning, arriving at a quarter to 9, Mrs. Medrano drove him back to the park so we could go fishing until the work was done. We called about 1 pm and Mr. Medrano said his wife was on the way to pick us up, the work was done! That is service above and beyond. The charge was well within the going rate for the work and exactly the quote we were given. We really wish we had caught a fish so we could give it to them. Medrano's does good work, the price is right on and they are good people. We would recommend them highly.

I can not recommend this store in good conscience…read more Yesterday I brought in a dead Prius battery and left it there overnight to charge, people at the front desk were courteous. However when I returned the next day the person working the counter was busy with other customers, clearly saw me standing there waiting and did not acknowledge that Someone will be there to help me shortly. Instead she flirted with the customers. Time passes by and an older white male entered the store going right to the counter. I addressed him that I was in line ahead of him. When another customer service person appears the guy immediately went to the counter and was served regardless of me having waited longer. My remark that he cut in front of me fell on deaf ears. When I was finally taken care of and the verdict was that the battery does not hold a charge I decided to take my business elsewhere as I am not spending money at a store that treats their potential customers as they did.

They will also do repairs not authorized and say they did it for your safety. It is illegal for them to do more than agreed without your approval. He had a good enough jack that I was able to safely climb under the van and bang on the starter while he worked the key. After a minute or two it fired up.
