One quick Google search and I found Brewster's ice. I've known about this little place since I was a kid. It looked closed and seemed like a relic from the 1960s. I had heard someone had purchased it and reopened the ice business. (Please correct me if I'm wrong). Well anyways, they are open and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! I live on the opposite side of town, but the drive is worth it for a bag of ice. I have been supporting them since they reopened, I would much rather support a small business than give my money to a conglomerate. The owners are very friendly and they have installed a bell on the dock for easy service. They carry something for everyone, cubed, blocked and dry ice. Support your local small business!! Don't rely on these people. I needed dry ice for a Halloween school event. I called early in the week to confirm hours and availability. I arrived a few minutes early yesterday and waited. No one showed, so I called, obviously waking the guy up. He said "we open at 7." It was 7:01. He called back a couple of minutes later, saying his guy had to walk to work, which is why he was late. He was one minute away. I waited 20 minutes, another customer came and left, but "my guy" never showed. I called back and it went to voicemail. At this point we know that either you or your guy is lying, but please have the courage to answer my call and tell me. read more
