Avoid at all costs. Deceptive and untrustworthy. The only positive point in our experience with State Farm was when they were pitching us the plans. From there is went downhill quickly. We signed up for Auto Insurance, Classic Auto Insurance, and a renters policy. After we signed the papers and paid the premium... 1st: we received a phone call from office stating that we did not qualify for a discount previously agreed too, the premium went up over $100 a year. This should have been enough and we should have backed out at this time. Bait and switch anyone? 2nd: at the time of writing and signing the policy my wife's Drivers License was expired. This was not a problem when they are taking your money. We received another call asking if it was expired and telling us we need to come in and show the new one. We had it renewed but did not get a chance to come in to the office, no time limit was set on this request. 3rd: One of the auto policies was sold to us as "unlimited mileage" and in fact we received a phone call stating that it was, in fact, a limited mileage policy. I double checked with the agent (name: Noe) that this was unlimited mileage before signing the paper. When I asked what the limit was, he could not tell me. I told him to find out and call me back. I called him three times, he was always not available, and never returned my calls. The fourth time I spoke with the manager. What Insurance company does not return your calls? why can't you tell me what the mileage restriction is? Why wasn't this disclosed at the time of the policy signing? She stated that she was sorry, the mileage limit was 2500 a YEAR. she did offer to change the policy to unlimited, it would ONLY cost DOUBLE the premium! no thank you I said. She said she would have Noe call me, he never did (surprise surprise). 4th: Today we get a letter from State Farm stating the policy is canceled because of an unacceptable risk, I turned right at a stop sign and got a ticket, and they cannot find ANY record of a VALID drivers license for my wife... She has a valid drivers license, they stated they cannot find it going through the secretary of state. I call bullsh!t on this. It is truly sad. We THOUGHT that going through a local business (or at least office) with local people working we were doing a good thing, and we THOUGHT that the policies we were buying were sold to us truthfully. In fact, the Agent was eager to sell us policies he either: -Did not understand and just wanted his commission or -Did understand it, sold us on a bait and switch, and tried to pull a scam. Either way it is crappy. When we sit down, I ask questions and you answer them, we agree, shake hands, and exchange money, IT IS DONE, OVER, the DEAL HAS BEEN MADE. Coming back to the table, changing the rules, and asking for more money is textbook slime-ball sleaze sales. Harsh but true. These are not PEOPLE I would expect anyone to do business with. I have friends that I discovered (after i paid) go through this office for insurance. They said the SAME BS went with them. I will be pushing everyone I know, meet, or otherwise come across to NOT USE STATE FARM for any insurance, anytime, under any circumstances. The ONE value you NEED in your insurance company is TRUST and these people deserve NONE. I will be going back to Progressive, the not local, internet based company that I TRUST. read more

If you need insurance this is the guy to go to. He's not your typical insurance guy just trying to sell as much insurance to you as he can. He's personable, down to earth and comes across as really having your best interest in mind. What I like most is that the folks in this office are proactive. Once they sell you insurance that's not the end. They continually review your policies and will contact you when they feel there are opportunities to save money or provide better coverage. I've been extremely pleased with this business and as a result have gone back to them and transferred policies to them as well as bought additional insurance. You can't go wrong with these guys if you're looking for insurance. read more

This branch does not advocate for their clients. I received a notice that my auto policies were being terminated because I was using my insurance too much for State Farm's liking. Apparently they expect their customers to have only one claim per policy every five years. This is a much larger issue for State Farm as their treatment of customers that pay their premiums on time is very poor. This being said, the branch did not succeed in correcting this situation. I will never use State Farm again and I will share my story freely to friends and family to try to sway them away from State Farm as well. Look elsewhere and don't be tricked by the low rates that they offer you initially. Insurance companies that treat their customers with so little regard do not deserve your business. read more

15 minutes is all it took for me to switch to being a State Farm customer. I worked with James Underwood who is very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with! James asked me for 15 minutes of my time in order to compare my current coverage for my car and house to see if it would be beneficial for me to stay where I'm at or make the change to State Farm. I wasn't happy with my current insurance provider so I figured why not, it's only 15 minutes. I gotta say I was completely blown away with all the additional coverage I was missing out on by not being a State Farm customer. James was able to save me money, about $90 per year on my car insurance. My homeowners insurance went up maybe $30 per year but when James showed me what I didn't have and what he could offer, I signed up on the spot! Did you know State Farm will finance your vehicle loan? Because of James I refinanced my car and he saved me $70 PER MONTH! I've been in the office a few times now and the staff is very fiendly. Brian and a few others came over while I was working with James just to introduce themselves and to see if I have any questions. 15 minutes - I highly recommend James Underwood. He is very helpful and I'm extremely happy to be saving a lot of money plus I have way better coverage! My next appointment with James is to dicuss life insurance. Brian is top notch in my eyes. My wife has been stranded from a engine problem and Brian called her a tower and checked up on her 20 minutes later to see if she was still on the road and offered to take her to the school where she worked. Granted it was only a few miles away but i was on deployment and it was winter and that is what makes Brian not just an insurance salesman. read more
