Dr. Germain was recommended by Dr. Weintritt to perform a breast reconstruction surgery in conjunction with the double mastectomy. The breast reconstruction method used was a new procedure pioneered by both doctors. The office visit with Dr. Germain was professional and he immediately put me at ease by answering all my questions regarding the procedure and results I could expect. I could tell right away that Dr. Germain is a true perfectionist who is very detail oriented. He takes a great deal of pride in his work. He made me feel very comfortable and showed me pictures of similar breast reconstruction that he had performed. All the pictures looked like works of art. I truly felt that I was in very capable and competent hands. I put my trust in the doctors and decided to go ahead with the double mastectomy and undergo the breast reconstruction. The procedure was a huge success and my breasts look amazing! This is so important to a woman's self-esteem and motivation in her battle against breast cancer. I was so impressed with his high standard of care and devotion to his patients. Dr. Germain is not only an outstanding plastic surgeon, but he is a compassionate human being that really cares about his patients. The outcome truly looked perfect. My husband and I could not believe how amazing and incredible the results looked. He is a phenomenal doctor. I was truly impressed with his ethics, high standard of care and the professionalism of his staff. His nurse "Amber" was so supportive and caring; she always made sure I was comfortable. Well, Dr. Pinell successfully completed my breast reduction in October 2025. I was a 36DDD, and now I'm a perfect 36D. I look great, and I can't be more satisfied with the results. Most importantly, the reduction reduces the likelihood that the cancer will return to the tissue removed. Although there are no guarantees, it is worth considering. Meaning, I'm smaller now, less tissue, less tissue for the cancer to return to. Dr. Pinell performed an incredible job. During my last visit to my Primary care doctor, who is an older woman, she stated that in her 40+ years of practice, she has seen many breast surgeries; this was the first reduction where the breasts were even. Even then, ok, so I asked to see some of her work doing the procedure that I was interested in. There is only one set of pictures on the website --- so nothing really. I was informed that they can't show me any more and that I could come into the office and pay the 160 before ever seeing any of the Dr's work. I find this to be sketchy and semi manipulative, I feel like any one who has been doing this for awhile reliably would have more than one before and after they are willing to share without paying money for a consult.

The first rule of protection against identity theft is never let anyone copy your ID - she said it had to be done. NOT true (if I came back they could see it each time if they needed to). I didn't mind filling out a health history, but when I questioned 10 pages of non-applicable forms she told me if I didn't fill them all out (including an unlimited info release to anyone the doctor chose - and agreeing to pay outrageous collection and legal fees) then I couldn't see the doctor (mind you this was just for a consultation that was going to cost me $125). I left. Pretty lousy customer service and attitude. I'll find a doctor who does better with both. Wasted 2 hours of sick leave to make the trip.

When I was first referred to…read moreDr. Albino, I sought corrective surgery for a botched reconstruction performed by Walter Reed. I wanted a DIEP Flap and my surgical oncologist at Johns Hopkins said he was the best of the best. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with breast cancer again a couple of weeks later during the final checks to clear me for surgery. Dr. Albino went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during treatment by removing my old implants and replacing them with new, smaller ones on my request followed by a DIEP Flap about a year later after I fully recovered. All I can say is that my quality of life changed exponentially. I have the most amazing, natural and soft breasts again! I look and feel amazing. I'm comfortable in my own body. That's a testament to a truly gifted surgeon who listens to and empathizes with his patients to ensure their happiness with the ultimate outcome. His skill is only exceeded by his compassion for his patients. He treated a dear friend of mine who lost her cancer battle. He made arrangements to see her outside of normal office hours to reduce her risk of getting exposed to COVID. When she passed, he and his staff mourned her loss with her family and friends.
