My tooth was infected and my face was starting to swell. I am so glad I called this office and she got me out of pain. She did a very great job on my root canal and kept making sure I was okay and calm because my anxiety gets to me sometimes when I'm having dental work done. She's very sweet and gentle. Let me clarify that this endodontist (Dr. Kelly Walker) nor anyone at this location performed the original root canal. So this specialist was needed to correct a problem that occurred with the original root canal. The experience here was wonderful. Before she started anything, we discussed the anxiety that could occur because of this procedure. She was glad that I disclosed this issue because it changed her procedure just a little. She offered to take short breaks during the procedure, if necessary. I can't believe that there was no pain at all because she numbed me so very well and she was not rough during the procedure. I only felt slight pressure during the entire process (drilling thru the crown, scraping out the infected pulp and cleaning up). Even as the drugs began to wear off, the pain was not excruciating. I recommend this endodontist wholeheartedly.

Dr Cook was my forth and hands down second to none the best Doctor I have ever been to. From the cleanliness of his office, the receptionist and the dental technician that assisted him, you will not find any better in the Kyana area. Dr Cook's chair side manner puts you at ease. The root canal was completely painless. Next day there was zero discomfort. Dr Cook is a Navy Veteran and honorably served his country for 12+ years. I'm a retired Coast Guard veteran. I felt totally comfortable after reassurances from the team. As for the procedure, I just rocked out to music on my headphones while Dr. Norton did the work, and I felt pretty good. Absolutely no pain - Dr. Norton made sure of that, and he explained everything in ways that made it easy for me to follow. Neither (front) teeth should produce this type of general pain and tingling sensation (teeeth, palate, upper lip, nose). Having a sensitivity to pain does NOTsystematically signify a root issue needing a root canal; some people are simply a lot more sensitive to cold than others. Additionally, there is NO need to subject the patient to an intense cold (moderate cold is enough for symptomatology and diagnostic).

He warmly explained everything he was going to do. He gave me a countdown on how long the hard part, the numbing, was going to hurt. Him and his nurse were cracking me up as they worked concisely on my tooth. They actually gave me an ibuprofen in office. Which sounds like a small thing but made a world of difference once the numbness wore off. All in all it was a great experience. I left the office laughing and smiling. 10/10 highly recommend. I will be referring everyone I know to Dr. Shuler.

Each cleaning and exam always ended with a warning to have a tooth extracted because of some imminent failure of a crown, old filling or a cracked tooth - none of these teeth were causing pain or other problems, but I was warned that I'd soon be calling "in middle of the night" in agony. WRONG. I still have these teeth nearly five years later! I have a new dentist. Two of my teeth have had the old fillings replaced and two teeth are on the "watch and wait' list for possible crowns. Do your due diligence. ALWAYS get a second opinion on elective procedures.

After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. He was able to replace the cap and I had no pain or problems since. I appreciate their quick attention to my needs and were able to fix the problem. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of the Dr that I saw but he was very young and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

The dentist was so rough with me it caused extra pain, was frustrated with me because i wasnt numbing easily . Sent me home & said he cant help. I got the tooth removed same day from my regular dentist which lets me know he wasn't numbing me correctly and should go back to school . Idk if it was cause im black but i never had that experience & was never rude to expect him to act like he did. Ill never recommend this dentist to ANYONE . Go to first care dental pls .
