A truly wonderful patient experience. Dr. Norton and the entire staff are generous with their time and really endeavor to make you feel at ease and comfortable before, during, and after a procedure. In terms of scheduling, they were extremely fast and I was in for a consult the day after I called. I needed a root canal done, and am a bit of a nervous person when it comes to dental work. I felt totally comfortable after reassurances from the team. As for the procedure, I just rocked out to music on my headphones while Dr. Norton did the work, and I felt pretty good. Absolutely no pain - Dr. Norton made sure of that, and he explained everything in ways that made it easy for me to follow. Suggested and then pressed for root canal, despite symptoms not adding up. After ENT visit and second endodontic opinion the conclusion was that (at least for now) a "root canal" is NOT needed (and suggested tooth removal and implant not needed right away). Neither (front) teeth should produce this type of general pain and tingling sensation (teeeth, palate, upper lip, nose). Having a sensitivity to pain does NOTsystematically signify a root issue needing a root canal; some people are simply a lot more sensitive to cold than others. Additionally, there is NO need to subject the patient to an intense cold (moderate cold is enough for symptomatology and diagnostic). read more

I called the office for an appointment, explaining that I was in a great deal of pain. I was able to get a appointment the next morning. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly, courteous staff. During the root canal procedure, Dr. Norton and his staff made sure my comfort was paramount every step of the way. Dr. Norton kept me apprised as to what he was doing and how long it would take. I received a call the next day from the office to ask how I was feeling and answer any questions. I have only had one other root canal and that was in 2008, by Dr. Norton. I recently learned that I had an abscess on a tooth that previously had a root canal treatment. My doctor referred me to Dr. Norton. I had an an amazing experience at his office. Everyone in the office was so welcoming and personable. I felt like I knew them as soon as I walked in. Dr. Norton explained the whole procedure and kept me laughing throughout the whole process. I called Dr. Norton's office on a Friday for a consult and he got me in that day. He took xrays, reviewed them with me and set a date for the following Monday. Let me start with this first, Painless, Painless, Painless. I hate having my teeth done, but Dr. Norton has taken that fear away. Everyone there couldn't do enough to make my visit as comfortable as possible. Professional, competent and very friendly, they made me feel like a valued patient from the moment I walked in. Dr. Norton has state of the art 3-D imaging equipment which helped detect the severity of my abscess. His experience is obvious, the procedure was close to being completely painless.
