All three times my expectations were exceeded. The first two times I worked with Victor Sr. But for the water heater I worked with Victor Jr. and Walter. Senior is super-nice and incredibly knowledgeable, but Jr. and Walter really blew me away when they replaced my old hot water heater this past Friday. We didn't know it but we were way out of code in our mid-century home. So they not only replaced the hot water heater, they made major improvements. They anchored and braced it properly, installed the correct pressure valve and routed it to an outside hose bib, and installed a drain pan where I can place a leak monitor. They basically brought us into the 21st century and their pricing was very fair. They're a small, family operation, so you have to have patience and flexibly when working with them. If an emergency comes up, you might be rescheduled. But guess what--when you have an emergency, they will be there for you. Regardless, your patience will be richly rewarded with best-in-class plumbing at prices you can feel good about. I love that they are a family operation and not some big company that bills at big prices and sends out rando dudes with cheap parts and cheap brands that won't last. And that reminds me--I'm impressed with the quality of the parts and brands VRG Plumbing uses. They don't cut corners. You get great value in what you're paying for--for both parts AND labor. I received 4 quotes for an in-wall (wall-mounted) toilet replacement. It was very easy to contact…read moreGreen Eagle and schedule the appointment. Anam was on time and asked technical questions about the job. He explained he had a lot of experience with in-wall toilets, which most companies do not. Ultimately, 3 companies had almost the same price (differing by ~$100) and Green Eagle was one of them. Another company was about 25% higher than the other quotes so I did not select them. It was easy to communicate with Anam. He prefers email over text. For this job, 2 sites visits are needed, because the drywall gets installed before the toilet and flusher. So communication for scheduling was important. Toward the end, we had a minor issue with stability of the toilet (which could have been due to how the drywall was installed) and Anam was very reasonable about resolving this. His crew came back a third time to fix this. I think many plumbers either would not have pointed out the issue or would not have stood by their quote (adding a change order for example). I think this showed real integrity and pride in their work. I would not hesitate to work with Green Eagle again!

They completed a full whole-house repipe with PEX and removed all of the old galvanized pipes. They also fixed a leaky faucet at the water main, cleared a clogged laundry sink, repaired a leaky laundry sink, and installed an automatic gas shutoff valve. When we noticed the laundry sink still dripped very slowly, they promptly returned to fix the issue and it's been completely problem-free.
