So we had a clogged tub. Contacted Emy and she said she's sending Bernardo out. I asked for an estimate she said he'll come and check and give us a rate before the job. So he came checked the line. Said if it doesn't work he won't charge us, if it does the flat rate would be. So it worked and he even cleaned out our tub with clorox. It was pretty nasty. Since it was our first time booking an appointment with them they gave us a discount. He recommended also a catch for the drain to get all the hair that gets trapped. Emy and Bernardo are life savers! I reached out on a Sunday afternoon about a clogged drain that caused water / disposal backup in my garage sink, and they were able to come help within the hour. More importantly, they were honest and hard working people. I had another plumber take a look at the clogged drain earlier and quickly told me I needed a specific type of service called a hydro jetter, which would cost me around $1,500. However, Emy and Bernardo took a closer look and were able to clear my drain with a simpler method which cost me less than 1/3 of the cost! When I told them I needed a hydro jetter service they asked me why I believed I needed that type of service, and then quickly assured me that it wouldn't be necessary. They could have went with it and milked me for the high priced service, but instead they did their best to help me and do it the most efficient and cost effective way possible. Don't be mislead by their limited number of reviews. They've been in the business for over 20 years and it shows in their work. They saved me! My water heater decided to die out of nowhere and Bernardo came over with his team and replaced my water heater the same day. Our situation was very complicated but he worked with us the entire way! He also kept his word on everything he said as well. My family loves to support other family businesses and this one will be our plumber from now on! He put in a new water heater which was better than the one before and it was almost the same price as our old one. Our system was very very old and it had tons of valves that didn't need to be there. He simplified our system and replaced our pipes and was done in a fairly good amount of time. Since we live in apartments he needed to shut off water to our other 3 neighbors including us and turned the water back on for them in a short amount of time (one of them was not very friendly. Bernardo understood and we got no complaints!) If it needs to be done that day he will get it done! Our air conditioner also wasn't getting any heat so we were cold for so long! We talked to our AC people and they were just giving us the run around. Told Bernardo and he helped figure it out! Turns out our AC was also super old and our water heater was connected to our AC, which is no longer what modern systems have. Bernardo worked with us for a good couple of days to figure out our situation. He stayed all day one of the days and gave us a really good deal for all the work that needed to be done. Very humble people. We ended up not having to call the AC people for the fourth/fifth time who kept giving us the run around because Bernardo fixed everything. He did say he doesn't do electrical or AC but he helped us with this and for that we are so grateful for it.
