Highly recommend Brianna, especially for pregnant folks. I went to her off a recommendation from my midwife after finding out my baby was in breech position. After a few sessions of acupuncture + moxibustion (along with doing Spinning Babies at home), my baby flipped head down, and it was such a huge relief! Brianna is an incredible acupuncturist but she offers more than just acupuncture treatment--she is a kind and caring practitioner who really listens. Highly recommended for girls starting puberty!  I reached out to Brianna after my 12 year old started her period and had a heavy cycle and debilitating cramps.  Her doctor suggested birth control, but I knew I wanted to see what some other options were first, and I'm so glad we did!  Brianna created such a safe space for my daughter to talk about her experience, and provided her with relief.  My daughter has left every session feeling cared for...her cramps have decreased and her cycle is much more manageable now.  A huge benefit that I hadn't even considered was how much this normalized the experience of talking about menstruation, normalizing the experience, but asking for help and support when needed.  Brianna's approach with both me and my daughter has made this intense experience so much more manageable, and I am so grateful! read more

I was in the area for Thanksgiving & able to book an appointment with Brianna last minute. First of all, her space! With music softly playing and the light reflecting off the pastel walls radiating warmth and calm, I was put at ease right away. She did a thorough history, asking me questions to elicit more information. Once on the heated table, her administration of Tui Na was immediately relaxing, and the acupuncture helped to relieve some of the discomfort I'd been having. I had a great experience with Brianna. I'm new to acupuncture and was nervous. Unfortunately my foot had been hurting for several weeks after a running injury. She was so welcoming and explained what she was going to do before and as she was doing it. She asked for feedback somehow noticing I'm the type to not share. I felt I was in expert hands. As someone who is new to acupuncture I'm so grateful to have had Brianna for my first acupuncture treatment. She's incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly understand the areas I was seeking help with. Full transparency: I am a perinatal provider (lactation consultant) and received a free session with Brianna to be able to understand what she does and refer my clients to her appropriately. That being said, I've worked with other Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners before, and I had a great experience with Brianna. She is warm, compassionate, intelligent, and experienced. Her space is warm and inviting, which you might not guess being on Telegraph (there is plenty of street parking).  Brianna took a thorough history, which I always appreciate, then gave me a wonderful treatment, focusing on my energy levels. She provided a great, gentle pre-acupuncture massage (clothed), which I had never experienced before, even though, as I found out, it's one of the three pillars of TCM. It was relaxing and set me up perfectly for my 20 minutes with the needles in my lower legs & feet, and the time passed quickly. I felt "seen & heard," and did feel a rise in my energy levels over the next few days, which was great.  I've already referred postpartum clients to her, as I believe she is a wonderful addition to the community, especially for those experiencing low milk production, hormonal imbalances, mood issues, and the need for extra support post-birth.
