I never had to worry about a thing and that's a huge relief on what can be an extremely stressful day. She kept us on time for everything and was also flexible with squeezing in extra time for photos cause she knew that was really important to us. In the middle of the evening I realized that I had left two cases of beer in the trunk of my car back at the hotel. I had spent weeks hunting this down and Stacy knew it meant a lot to me so she had one of her assistants drive back to the hotel, talk the front desk into getting access to my car so she could bring the beer back to the wedding. Pure awesomeness. We also had an unexpected medical emergency in the middle of the reception and Stacy handled it like the pro she is. The person actually ended up going to the hospital with some family and Stacy arranged for food to be sent over. Before choosing Stacy we talked to a few other planners, but as soon as we sat down with Stacy things just clicked and we knew had found the right planner.

I've never been someone who dreamed of a fairytale princess wedding, I just wanted a very tasteful event that reflected who we were as a unique couple. Stacey definitely helped us achieve that. She has impeccable taste, and more importantly the knack for understanding who you are, what you want, and how to get there. She's extremely organized, busy yet calm, diplomatic... and totally delightful. (Truly, everyone who met her during our wedding weekend fell in love.) I had many ideas for what I wanted, but living in Los Angeles, it was going to be a leap of faith to coordinate with the vendors in northern California. Stacey, though, paired us up with the perfect people every time. (And if you're having an event outside the SF/Napa area, you can still use her: she's got her eye on everything fabulous in other cities as well). As a Producer & Director, I'm used to running the show. But having gotten to know Stacey, by the day of my wedding, I didn't worry for one second about vendors, timing, or a hundred possible mishaps. I just wasn't concerned because I had complete faith in her. It felt great to sit back, enjoy our guests, and take in the experience. If you have Stacey at the helm, you'll feel the same way. I've never met someone so well suited for their job - truly. Stacey has every single quality a person in this position needs. There are well known planners out there (trust me, I looked) who I can't imagine would hold a candle to her when all is said and done. And on top of that, she genuinely wants your wedding to be as wonderful as you do. I had to laugh when it was all over because, for someone who didn't want a "fairytale" wedding, that's exactly what I got. I used to snicker when people waxed that their wedding was the greatest day of their lives...and my husband and I would both now tell you with a straight face that's exactly what our wedding was. Jennifer acted as my day of coordinator and helped me plan my wedding! Before the wedding: Jennifer was easy to contact, I sent her countless emails and chatted with her frequently. She gave me a list of to-dos leading up to the wedding and reminders as it got closer. She came with me to visit the venue twice, was flexible with the schedule, and communicated with all of my vendors leading up to the wedding! Jennifer also sent me timelines of what would happen during the day (almost by the minute)! The day before the wedding, Jennifer helped our bridal party through the rehearsal and even had the officiant (her husband) there! She calmed my stresses to say the least! During the wedding: Though my vision was quite simple, Jennifer helped me execute it to the fullest. After our initial run through Jennifer knew exactly how things needed to run and look , I did not have to ask for a single thing to be changed. Vendors knew where to go, things were set how I wanted them, and she never once asked me for anything (and neither did the vendors). Everything was perfect! She even helped me write a beautiful wedding sign at the last minute!! She was never stressed and that really kept me at ease! Our officiant, Jennifer's Husband also did a fabulous job!! We gave him little direction, keep it short and sweet, involve the guest, and make it fun. He did all of those things and more. I've had many friends compliment how wonderful the ceremony was! At the end of the night Jennifer also took the time to keep many of the mementos I would have forgotten. She saved my bouquet, boutonnieres, the speech my maid of honor wrote, and the little knick knacks left around the venue. We…read moregot Rue 29's "Wedding Day Management Coordination Package" which included day-of coordination and up to 30 hours of work before the wedding day, but we got so much more value than that! Unlike other month-of coordinators who won't talk to you until a month before, Rue 29 made sure to set us up for success from the beginning. As soon as we signed our contract Janice shared her list of preferred vendors and introduced us to everyone we needed to know. She seems to know everyone in Napa! She was then so helpful with any questions we had while we were booking vendors and coordinating with them over the intervening months. By the time we got to a month out from the wedding everything was pretty much already set! Janice was so incredibly helpful, super responsive, detail oriented, and extremely professional. When the wedding day came our day went off without a hitch! We were completely relaxed all day because of the trust that Janice had already built-we knew she would move whatever mountain needed to be moved to make the day perfect. During the day she was the perfect amount of attentive to verify a few last details with us but mostly left us to just enjoy the day while she took care of everything else. She was also so attentive to our families during the day, always making sure they had food and drink and everything they needed, which was such a sweet level of service and care. They suggested that we meet in person to make sure that it was a good fit and ended up having a fabulous evening drinking rose, telling stories and of course talking [wedding] shop. For our wedding, C&V helped with overall event design and vision, invitations, signage design and production, day-of setup and teardown for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding. Our venue was challenging due to having multiple events in multiple spots onsite and also the people running the place were somewhat hard to deal with, but The Gingers made everything feel effortless. I am having a hard time not writing paragraphs about the various ways in which they helped along the way but all you really need to know is that they are incredibly organized, have fabulous taste, are easy to collaborate with, talked me off several ledges & always kept my budget in the back of their minds. Date was 11/24/12 Searching for vendors is never easy but doing it across country makes it worse! My wife and I are very picky and worry about all the small details. I can't even be sure which one of the numberous sites we used that we actually found Vivian on but I contacted her the first time about 2 months before the ceremony. Her price was reasonable but we were on a budget so we decided to have a family member do the ceremony to save a little money. Long story short about a week prior we realized that wouldn't work. Unfortunatly it was only a few days before Thanksgiving and we had noone! Vivian was one of the few officiants that we were interested in prior to this realization so I decided to email her on the monday before Thanksgiving, 5 days before our ceremony. I had no idea what her response would be since it had been so long since our last conversation but as always she was polite and professional. She didn't up her rates due to it being last minute, which at this point we totally would have understood if she did. We asked to skype with her just to meet her prior to the ceremony and dispite having a new born to take care of she took a few minutes to chat with us which was also nice. As far as the vows are concerned you can be as hands on, or hands off as you want. She is totally fine with customization. Day of the ceremony, she shows up dressed professionally and is a great speaker! everything went as it should and we couldn't have asked for more. No regrets here! This may be helpful to some just in case: I asked if she could speak Mandarin, the answer was no. But from what I remember she does speak Hungarian and German.

I was a client of Amiee's over the past year, up until our wedding on September 20th, 2024. When I hired Amiee in October 2023, I had only booked our venue, HMUA, and photographer. I was having a very difficult time finding a caterer. My husband and I were on a fairly tight budget. We were gifted money from both sides of our families for our wedding but would be covering a significant portion ourselves. I received a few quotes from caterers that were simply not feasible for our budget. Even ones my friends had recommended from pre covid and through 2021 had drastically increased their prices since then, and it seemed some had altogether gone out of business. At that point, I hired Amiee as I realized I needed a professional to help navigate this critical element of the wedding. We ended up hiring Amiee's catering team for our wedding, and they were our saving grace. Prior to the wedding, Amiee and her team set up a beautiful tasting for my husband and I, that felt like a romantic date night in itself. At the wedding, the food was fantastic, with my cousin exclaiming at one point during dinner "This food isn't just good for a wedding , it's GOOD GOOD!" It's been a few weeks since our wedding and my husband's boss was still talking about the food at work last week, same with my mom. I personally do not believe you will find any caterer in the Sonoma or Napa area that will provide the elevated dining experience and quality of cuisine for the affordable rate we had, and we are so grateful for that. Beyond the food, I deeply valued Amiee's breadth of wedding experience, spanning decades. A planner like Amiee has seen it all, and there is nothing she can't anticipate. She went above and beyond, helping me with some DIY tasks I simply could not complete myself due to the fact that I live 500 miles away from Sonoma. She stepped up and ensured that the day of my wedding I was not burdened with any set up tasks, and could just focus on sipping mimosas and enjoying my morning with my loved ones.
