Your DREAM wedding starts HERE! The venue is private, spacious, very well-maintained, and absolutely gorgeousss!!! Golden Hour here is MAGICAL!! Our guests would not stop talking to me about how many photos they took at our wedding during cocktail hours. As a bride, It really matters to me that our guests could spend time walking around, enjoy the moments and the beautiful scenery for themselves. My husband & I had the absolute best time working with Cindee & Melanie from day 1 as well. They truly wanted to take care of us and the vision of how our big day would look like. They kept us up to date with the Q&As, special offers, site visits, and even the budget! Everyone at Lakeview is so sweet and professional with their services. We could not thank them enough for bringing us the most wonderful wedding reception! We will definitely refer Lakeview to our friends and families.

The space was well maintained and beautifully lit. So much potential for special events! It's like they really took note of every photo op, especially that golden hour view. Parking was easy with an attendant and the security detail was on point. It has that open concept cocktail area which actually turned out to be very family friendly. The bathrooms were air conditioned! Last but not least, the reception room was gorgeous. Windows everywhere, 3 giant chandeliers, and plenty of seating for 300. If the catering was in house, it was also pretty good. Salad, bread, halibut, prime rib, green beans and mashed potatoes.

    Bridal suite

My husband and I had our post wedding photo shoot here. This venue is absolutely beautiful! Stunning! One of the most gorgeous venues in the greater Sacramento area! (trust me, I visited plenty!) Let's start with the HUGE bridal suite and grooms den! Omg it's like a whole house with a kitchen and tons of space to sit and have hair and makeup done. The bridal suite is beautiful and the bed is comfy. And not to mention this place was spotless clean! The grooms suite has a pool table for the guys to hang out and chill before the ceremony starts. Lakeview also has about 3 locations for your ceremony. All with gorgeous views and beautiful backdrops. The reception area is in a tent - but not just a regular tent. A huge tent with pretty chandeliers and brand new floors! I'm very particular so details like nice flooring stand out to me. And yes, it has AC! need that for those summer and fall weddings! I can imagine how wonderful It looks once it's all decorated! There are so many places for photo ops for bridal party plus guests; in front of the lake, the grass wall, even the entrance to the ceremony site is nice and classy looking. It's very obvious that this estate is well kept and often maintained. Looks like something you'd see in a bridal magazine. The owner of this venue did the decor for my wedding, so gorgeous! This place offers all in one - venue, decor and food. Which is a plus for wedding planning! All my interactions with the owner have always been positive. She is so professional and provides such a great experience. If you're looking for a beautiful venue, I 100% recommend Lakeview Estates and Winery. Such a gorgeous place!

This is a beautiful venue that is secluded enough to really feel like a private event. The lake and visuals really make for stunning views, especially at golden hour when the light shines perfectly above the water and through the trees. The decor and flower arrangements were done just to our liking and matched perfectly with the look of the venue. The food was restaurant quality and they allow tastings to help mold the menu into what you wish. Our night was gorgeous, with the lights of the venue adding a beautiful atmosphere to the proceedings. The best part even above all of this was our day of coordinator provided by the venue. Her name is Linda Nguyen and she is everything you could wish for as someone to help you prep and make the special day run as smoothly as possible. She is lovely and enthusiastic while being highly professional and going the extra mile to help not only on the day but before as well. She felt more like a full on wedding coordinator than just merely a day-of planner. She kept us on time and on target, solving any issues on the fly while knowing exactly what we wanted thanks to her collaborative nature in planning everything with us. An example of her commitment was when she sprinted to grab my bouquet because I had forgotten it right before walking down the aisle. With this and many other little moments, she ensured that our wedding day went just as we dreamed it would.

My husband and I are beyond honored to have had our wedding day at Lakeview Estates and Winery. The excellent staff, delicious food, and beautiful venue made it our most magical day. The entire team from Melanie to the front office, the floral team, decor team, the servers, cooks, and bartenders played a part. They worked in tandem with our other various vendors. The team at Lakeview made the entire process all the way through the big day, run smoothly. We our beyond grateful for all the memories you have created for us. Thank you!

We had our wedding at Lakeview last week. The venue itself is breathtaking! Melanie and her team were a dream to work with. They responded to all of our questions in a timely manner, accommodated our requests best they could and made the overall wedding process straightforward and simple. Our day of coordinator Linda and her assistant Lynn went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly. Our guests had a great time and we received many compliments on how delicious the food was.

The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg is a historic beet sugar refinery from 1934-1993 that has wine shops and tasting rooms for local wineries. They have over a dozen wineries. Wine tastings average $15 and most wineries waive the fee if you buy a bottle. They have wine shops in the main building and in the other building. Don't forget to walk back and to the right to the shops in the separate back building, there is 3-4 more wineries. Each winery are literal walled shops with their own seating areas. Temperature controlled which is nice on hot summer days. Each have their own wine tasting, food offerings, and special events. Old Sugar Mill is less than 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. The buildings are beautiful. They kept the historic brick walls and exterior. It has a modern shabby chic look. Three different brands owned the refinery. It all began in 1934 with Amalgamated, American Crystal Sugar Factory (1936-1982), and Delta Sugar (1983-1993). The sugar was refined by local Northern Californian grown beets. The buildings was renovated in 2000 for its current use. Awesome concept and beautiful architecture design. They also host weddings and events. They have a banquet room with slideshow equipment. There is also an outdoor lawn and adjoining paved patio area that is shaded in the afternoon by the buildings that would make for a gorgeous wedding venue. On hot summer days, the Delta breeze kicks in for instant cool down. No outside food are picnics are allowed. On the weekends, they have food trucks. Plus the majority of the wineries sell food (appetizers) as well. Also no pets are allowed (excluding service animals). The restrooms are located right by the front entrance.

And it is a source of great pride to find our local, Greater Sacramento-Delta Bogle wines when we travel outside of California or USA. In fact, we were thrilled to enjoy a bottle in Shanghai, China! But we had never been to the Bogle Family Ranch and Vineyards outside of Clarksburg, CA. We finally reserved a couple of hours to visit the winery - and can't say enough good things! We enjoyed several, terrific wines not available in our local stores - such as their delicious Sparkling Rose! But more importantly, experienced a lovely afternoon on the BEAUTIFUL Bogle Family Ranch grounds! Everything around us was green and gorgeous; with cool breezes due to the surrounding water of the Sacramento River. The picnic tables were warm and inviting. The snacks were great (we brought a picnic lunch). And EVERY employee with which we spoke was excited to educate and inspire us - taking great pride in Bogle Family's six generations of Delta farming; sincere commitment to sustainability and the community; and vision of how the family plans to continue the winery's growth and international expansion, while maintaining its commitment to winemaking excellence. Every staff member that we met had been Bogle employees for over 10 years at least (a couple over 30!). I think it really says a lot about a company and family when their employees promote and compliment - even when the bosses are not in the room! While we had originally planned just a one-time visit to the Bogle vineyards, we left as Bogle Family Wine Club Members. And look forward to attending many Bogle events (including live music and movie nights), in the upcoming year. Well done and thanks for a great day, Bogle Family!

The wine and property are lovely -- unfortunately the welcome at the door felt like an audition for "Most Judgmental Winery Greeter." When we walked in, the woman at the front greeted us with a slow head-to-toe scan before even saying hello. For context, we weren't exactly stumbling in from a river float -- Patagonia, designer black jeans, nice casual wine-country attire. My partner was dressed similarly. Completely normal for a winery visit. Since it was my first time there, I asked where we should go. She informed us -- while continuing the visual inspection -- that upstairs was reserved for more formally dressed guests with reservations. The upstairs area, by the way, was completely empty. She then told us we could "go help ourselves around the corner." The tone was less "welcome to wine country" and more "you appear to be beneath the staircase." Honestly, I've been to plenty of wineries, from casual tasting rooms to higher-end spots, and I've never been greeted with that level of instant judgment. It was oddly hostile for a place that literally sells a beverage meant for relaxing. The ironic part is that after getting past that moment, the rest of the experience was actually nice. The wine was good, the grounds are pretty, and the other staff we interacted with were perfectly pleasant. But that initial interaction? Brutal. If first impressions matter (and they do in hospitality), someone might want to let the front door know that sizing people up like a nightclub bouncer at 1am isn't exactly the warm, welcoming winery vibe most people are hoping for. Great wine. Beautiful place. One spectacularly toxic greeting.

Prior to visiting Heringer Estates, I noticed they offered a sweet flight which was a huge reason why I wanted to visit; however, it was not on the menu. We even received a sample of their popular wine slushy. My friend and I both ordered the same tasting and we were very impressed with all of them. She especially liked the moscato, and I especially liked the chardonnay. Although, I really did enjoy all of them. The staff member seemed very knowledgeable and explained each one to us.
