Brian was not available for my event today, however he said to give him a few minutes and he would find someone to help me. He returned my text in a timely manner letting me know that his brother would be here to cover our event and it is an understatement to say that Christian (the brother) totally rocked it today . Brian is awesome. Hands Down. We hired Brian to do caricatures at our wedding and our guest absolutely loved him. He was very professional, did great work, courteous, and on time! He was very communicative and made sure that my wife and I got exactly what we asked for. His pictures were funny and at the same time, portrayed our wacky guests. Brian you had to know this review was coming Would not recommend this person for any of your events. His professionalism is lackluster at best. I booked with Brian over a year ago, six months ago I checked in to confirm, three days before my wedding I was confirming final details along with price. At all of these conjunctions Brian confirmed that he was good to go. Less than a week before my wedding he pulls out and claims that there's been some sort of death in the family, although he only came up with that as he was pestered by my wedding coordinator. When discussing this he was both condescending and rude. You think that if you just pulled out of someone's wedding a week before hand you find somewhere in there to be just a little bit more professional about your failure to schedule better. When he had his stand in come for my wedding, The stand and advised us that he had known for at least three weeks that he was going to be needed for this event. But when Brian told us it was the week before and he said he had no idea this event was upcoming. Buddy just tell us that you had Labor Day weekend plans that you forgot about I try not to crap on anybody small business but if you're hoping to hire him I hope you take a second guess. If you're interested don't hesitate to reach out and I'll provide the guy who actually did ours. My coordinator asked what he was going to do to remedy this since the price hadn't changed and he had dipped out. He offered to do a digital copy a week before hand, which my coordinator had to ask for all the way up until the day of, and he made us all look inebriated and distinctly different than we look. read more

Brian was at my daughter's 18th birthday/Graduation party and he was awesome! He was friendly, easy to talk to, and did really great work! Everyone loved their pictures and were so happy we got him instead of a photo booth. I do wish I'd hired him for at least 3 hrs. We booked Brian for a wedding for two hours. He arrived on time and the guests were very impressed. The prices can't be beat and we looked at every artist in orange county. We only booked him for two hours but wished we booked for three. Unfortunately he had another event after so called his friend to fill in for another hour. Brian's Caricatures was established in 2017 but really started when I was drawing and managing caricature stands at Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland 10 years ago. Since then I have been drawing at parties / events on the weekends and having a blast doing it!

Mauna Loa is the heritage macadamia brand from Hawai'i, and it was an honor for us to work with Aaron to give back to the community that we are both a part of. Aaron is from Hilo, and worked with the local schools that he went to- Kamehameha Schools in creating the mural. We threw a Mauna Loa x Aaron Kai community event that was extremely well received, and our staff have commented on how the mural has lifted morale at the plant, as it is such a beautiful piece that everyone sees on their way to work. The interior designer came in and added most of our pieces, but we left the conference room wall and my office wall empty for these pieces to be commissioned by Joseph. We had an initial call, scoped out the proposed design and color scheme settled on a price and moved forward with the work. I have to say I'm very impressed with the final outcome and through the many Microsoft teams meetings I set on daily.... I'm complemented multiple times by the artwork behind my shoulder. Unfortunately, it received some damage requiring a good portion of it to be restored. Carole was recommended. It was a process and took much effort but she was able to restore the mural and what she was able to do was beyond belief. Some areas so little was left, but was able to keep the mural true to form. She is an incredible artist in her own right and we are very happy she consented to do this job.

This review is long overdue. 4 years ago I remodeled my bathroom. Coming from an interior design…read morebackground, I'm extremely particular about who I have work on my home. I put a lot of time, money and creativity into the remodel, and therefore I was very particular about who I wanted to work with me on it. I hired Carole to paint back in the details on a vintage, Asian TV cabinet, that I turned into a bathroom vanity. Needless to say this wasn't an easy job. The vanity was initially orange and black, however, I had it painted a light turquoise color. When this was done, it completely concealed all of the intricate detail work underneath it. My former faux painter tried to come in and repaint all of the details back in, however, wasn't able to. The vanity has raised figures on the doors, which take a very delicate touch to get just right. There's also intricate gold fretwork around the doors as well as on the sides. When Carole came in, we sat down together, and discussed how I wanted it to look. We went over colors, different shades of gold, the overall feel of it, etc. She painted in not only on the raised figures but also elaborate artwork on the doors as well. Luckily, I had taken pictures of the cabinet prior to having it painted, so she was able to reference the previous artwork, and not just duplicate it, but make it 100 times better! It turned out to be a masterpiece! It is one of the star attractions of the remodel. Everyone who sees the bathroom is absolutely starstruck at how unique it and beautiful it is, and Carole's expert hand was an integral part of why that is. I can't recommend her enough and if you're lucky enough to have her to work in your home, you'll feel the same way. Her skills are easily on par with those of the old world masters. I hope to work with her again in the future, as I have a couple of projects in mind that I would like her to bring to life.Thanks again, Carole. You were a joy to work with.

This was important to me. Jeanine took the time to listen to what I was looking for and suggested a few things to help grow my idea. I loved that. She came over and was so kind and really took time to understand this was more than just a job; this was something my kid is going to grow up with. She took measurements, and even took color swatches of the carpet and furniture to make sure we matched the color palette! She quickly mocked something up and a few days later I had a photoshopped mockup for approval. Once we approved it we setup a date and I paid the deposit. Marcus was the artist that was assigned to this project. He was so kind and wonderful in my home. He let my wife and I peek and see progress, and would check in with me if he had any questions. He's a really talented artist and executed my vision faithfully. At the end of the day my wife cried (with joy), we have our incredible mural and I couldn't recommend this company enough. Really pleased with how it turned out and I will be calling them again for my next mural or art project.

I talked to several process servers and explained all our struggles and difficulties. I asked each of them how they would handle the situation if our defendant proved impossible to serve after trying. Chris's answer to that question was a confident laugh and, "I will have him served." That's why I went with him, and I am very happy I trusted my gut. Chris was able to take the limited clues and information we provided, track him down, and complete substituted service when personal service was not realistically possible. What impressed us most was not just that Chris got the defendant served, but what happened afterward. Close to the hearing, the defendant filed a Motion to Quash Service and also sent us a separate packet challenging the service that had not even been properly filed with the court. It was stressful and confusing, but Chris immediately stepped in, provided detailed records, explained the applicable small claims service rules, and helped us understand exactly how to respond. Chris was patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He did not just serve the papers and disappear -- he stood behind his work and helped us deal with the defendant's attempt to challenge service.
