Overall- I appreciate the diligence their team provides when you have your fine jewelry repaired. They are trustworthy, honest, and reliable! When you walk into the store you feel a bit cramped but it's simply because they have so many great cabinets full of authentic diamonds and lovely jewelry, along with cute personal and home items! They were very honest with me on the timing of my repairs and offered estimates before I conclusively decided to repair the rings (or not). I am thankful they're in business and have been for decades in Amarillo, Texas! And I have yet to find a better jewelry cleaner! I overheard them telling a customer that their cleaning process also involves steaming. Wow my rings were returned better than new. I'll be back!

Unfortunately, after a few visits, I was not greeted with the same kindness as initially given, mainly I believe because my ring wasn't made there. However, before the service, I had asked for the option for them to work on my ring, and the representative said with confidence that they could do it. After the work was done, I was given a receipt double for what I was quoted, and received a sub-par work. The finish was not smooth and the details looked rough. When I confronted this issue, I was met with some off-putting comments about ordering my ring, and they just "undid" the work within five minutes. I wish I never requested that service because now my ring has the minor details that still looks unprofessional, and I still paid for the service that was undone after it wasn't done well. The issue is, I didn't expect them to doing customizations on a ring that was uniquely made or made by a different company. The issue is that the individual that helped me was confident in saying they could do the service I asked about, AND the charged me for it, and it was clearly not done well... So much so, that it took five minutes to undo it, and even then, with an undesirable finish. I don't think I'll be taking any more services from them unfortunately because of this experience, and I do want to make it clear that my unfortunate experience isn't their default. I just wish I didn't spend time and money on something if that wasn't their specialty to begin with. If you want custom designs with them, they'll probably do a great job with it, but if you have a ring that isn't made by them, and you want to add customizations, it's best to reach out to other jewelers.

She told me that they would need to move me to a different apartment. Mind you it's the middle of winter and I lived upstairs. Who was I going get to help me? Because I know she wasn't going to and those other girls that live there weren't going to. Buckner family place is for single mothers, and I believe fathers that are in school. The apartments are very nice and they're not expensive, there's no bills to pay. But there are a lot of rules and they like to be in your business. But if you can deal with that, then, this place is great. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because I did go to her several times to tell her that my heater was not working. And my text messages and emails never were responded to. Except for when I finally had it and she told me she would have to just move me to another apartment. She never attempted to try to get my heater looked at and fixed . And I had my son there... Who wants their kids to go to bed cold? They did give me electric heaters because the apartments are completely electric... But then she told me she needed them back because she was cold in her office. So basically, she would use the heaters all day and I would have to wait till past 6 o'clock to get them. But still she never got my heater fixed. So then we started to stay with family because we were freezing in my apartment. And our water was always cold. Wintee is three months long and it just wasn't getting resolved. My sister and her daughters had to move in with my mother so we left and we stayed with a friend... And still my heater was not fixed so then I decided to move out. They locked me out of my apartment, mailbox and threw my stuff down the stairs. I've never had any complaints from them. I always had my grades up... And I have a ton of people that could vouch for that and I still have the emails and text messages that I sent her . And they really had the audacity to throw my stuff on the stairs. I had a plant from my late grandfather, and they ruined it by leaving it outside overnight. I was moving my stuff out during the day when it was warmer and I would leave notes on the door saying please I'm gonna come get the rest of my stuff. But like I said, I am a single mom, and I was doing it by myself. I was carrying some of the heaviest things down the stairs by myself. Well, my aunt in Sacramento sent me a dress... And it was ruined because they threw it on my doorstep upstairs, and it snowed and it was dirty snow... And the dress was ruined. And she could care less. I've never seen a side of her like that, and I don't know how she could just be OK with us freezing up there and then get mad because we had to move out of there since it wasn't being resolved. If you were a single mom and the stuff that you have is all that you have... You know how hard and long it can take some times to replace those things. And my stuff was just left there. They didn't give me any warning like... Hey, putting your stuff out on the porch you need to come get it. But I told her I was leaving because my son and I were freezing in the apartment. Who wants to take a cold shower... And then come out in a cold house. I was even turning on the stove just to warm of the house, and it only warmed up the front of the house and not the bedrooms. It was terrible. I did love living there, like I said, in the beginning, my son made a lot of friends there... But once them, winter months, and my heater went out... We were freezing. And she did nothing to help us. I also lost about $300 worth of groceries. That they just put outside. If you're a butt kisser... You'll do great there

After taking it back to have them fix the mistake they made on the ring, they blamed it on the silver. They even ordered a replacement. We never asked for a replacement. Just stand behind your work. If you make a mistake, RESPECT the customer. Talk professionally and don't assume we want money. I went to the jewelry store and just took the original ring back. No apology for the disrespect came from James. Stand behind your work instead of defending the mistake that caused the bend. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
