I did a rush order on Thursday to pick it up Friday as it was a must to get the clothes before the weekend for an event. When I picked it up, I was told it's not there and not cleaned yet when I did a rush order and I was guaranteed by the person at their front desk. The person apparently put a rush order for pick up on a Monday the following week. It's such an inconvenience. To remedy the situation, I have to buy new sets of clothes for the event. read more

Had some dry cleaning done. A coupe shirts, a dress, a jacket, and a suit. Was $98. It's in Manlius. Everything is expensive because the taxes are through the sky. No problem there. Everything looked pretty good with the exception of the suit. They put it in the same bag as the jacket which is a fuzzy jacket. Now my clean suit is all fuzzy. Dark suites and fuzzy don't get along. It could have been done better. For the price of a single bag you would have had a happy camper. Will I return. Sure I will only nervous next time. The person at the register? Hire everyone like her. I used them for over a year, they must be in financial trouble, because after about 10 months, they started overbilling my credit card which I had to dispute and am in the process of taking them to arbitration. This is a company for which the very definition of buyer beware applies. They destroyed clothes and overcharged my credit card. read more

Great service. they text you when you can pick up your clothes. They even have free delivery and pick up i think. i haven't used that service but i know they have it. BTW they are super nice and helpful. read more

Avoid this place! I decided to try this dry cleaner and upon picking up my suit was met by the rudest employee I have encountered in a long time. The woman couldn't be bothered to return my greeting when I walked in or respond to my thank you after being over charged to dry clean one suit, over $18! I thought perhaps it was me but as I exited another patron walked in and was met with equal rudeness. Never again. read more

On a recent trip to Syracuse, I dropped off two shirts to be pressed at "The Drycleaners of Manlius". I was very busy, and the clothing got wrinkled in my luggage, so I figured I'd take them to a pro. I took them first to a drycleaner in Cazenovia, but for next day service they said I had to go to their other location in Manlius. That wasn't out of my way, so I dropped the shirts off on Friday morning 7/1/11 at 10am. I was told they'd be ready that evening, but I said I'd pick them up Saturday morning. This was perfect because I had a family dinner Saturday night and a Highschool reunion on Sunday. As I've said, this was a very busy weekend for me, so the drycleaning was one less thing to be concerned with. I got to "The Drycleaners of Manlius" at noon on 7/2/11. My pants were nicely pressed, but I was told my shirts were LOST! What?? "Don't you do work on premises?" I asked. "Yes" was the answer, so I implored the two young girls at the counter to please look and call me when the shirts were found. At 3:45 (15 minutes before their scheduled closing), I called to see I f they found the shirts. "No" was the response, so I told them I was from out of town, very dissatisfied, and needed to hear from the owners ASAP to discuss the matter. Luckily I found that "Peter Harris" in Fayetteville was open, so what was supposed to be a quick trip to the drycleaner turned out to be a lot of aggravation and expense to replace my lost items. After returning from my trip, I gave "The Drycleaners of Manlius" a full business day to get back to me, but no call. The disclaimer on the ticket says "The company's liability with respect to any lost or damaged article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it.", so I guess my check for $38 will have to settle the deal. I've been taking articles to drycleaners on a regular basis for the past 20 years, and have never experienced a lost article. I guess I may be lucky in that respect. However, If wronged by a business, I expect a sincere apology and an explanation of how they plan to rectify the situation. But...no call, so I must deem "The Drycleaners of Manlius" to be a careless, clueless and rude business. read more

I took my favorite pair of boots to Brian after I had left them in my basement over the summer. They were completely covered in mold and smelled awful. I figured I would have to throw them out and was so upset I couldn't even look at them. Not only was Brian able to clean them but made them look brand new again! After being a loyal customer there for 10+ years I have decided to part ways with them. Why? A dry cleaning order that was to completed by a certain date was still not ready 8 days later. In fact it could not be found. 3 days later it was found, but it still was not completed. When I finally spoke with the owner, he (rudely) insisted I still pay the full price. He didn't seem to care when I mentioned that I would never be returning. read more
