Polo Tailors and Cleaners did a beautiful job removing the blood stains and steaming out the old seam lines, as well as ironing out wrinkles in the dress. Also, they charged me a reasonable price, less than I was quoted at other reputable spots. As soon as we were home from the Hill Country wedding, I came back to entrust the post-wedding cleaning to Hoa at Polo Tailors and Cleaners. The wedding day had been drizzly, and the hem and train of the dress were muddy. Hoa, who had helped me so well the first time, got out the mud stains. She also declined to charge me extra for the mud stains. I have not yet had a chance to use their services for alterations, but I was able to watch them measure another client who wanted to have a suit taken in. I tried A-1 with a comforter and they were so much more professional and friendly. Charli (front desk person) is amazing and great with customers. I ended up taking all of my laundry and dry cleaning to A-1 and now won't go anywhere else. Not the least expensive but worth it to not have my clothes ruined. They do everything on site so nothing gets sent out and lost. I'm retired now so I don't need to go as often but this will be my cleaners from now on. Also nice touch -- they text when your order is ready. Too many times, my previous cleaners would say "ready x, y, or z" and then say - "not back yet, come back tomorrow." Never again.

Unfortunately I had to come back twice as two items were incorrect at time of pick up. One dress failed to be shorten and another was still too big. When I returned a week later to pick up the two dresses, one was cutting into my armpit so tightly and had gaps on the chest. The only way it fit comfortably is if my arms are all the way behind my back. Otherwise it digs so deeply into the armpit that it hurts. I was told that due to how large the dress was originally, there was nothing that could be done about the ill fit in the armpit/chest area and just pull it down more. Gave no solution to fix. As experts in the alteration field, they should be clear on what can and can't be done with certain garments. I obviously would not have paid to alter a garment if I'd known it wouldn't fit properly. Unfortunately it is completely unwearable with the chest gaps and extremely tight armpit. Essentially I threw away $46 on that.

We attempted to work with them, allowing Brite Touch to repress the draperies 3 times in an effort to improve the outcome. The result? - custom drapery panels ruined beyond repair! The pleats are permanently crumpled, the fabric and lining are fused/ stuck together, the lining now has a pink cast and the fabric integrity is so compromised that the panels no longer hang strait from the rod. It took 3 attempts to even press the ends of the draperies straight! See the attached (1) before and (4) after photos to further illustrate the issues. To date, they have not even reimbursed the $159 cleaning fee. It has been 3 months!! As for compensation for our loss? NADA! Brite Touch insisted they "...carefully followed the cleaning instructions on the care label..." despite the fact that there was no care label since these draperies were a custom fabrication. Communication with Brite Touch has been madding obtuse, inaccurate and inconsistent in what we assume are efforts to avoid financial responsibility to reimburse us for our loss. This has been an absolutely horrendous experience and it is ongoing.
