It also backs up to a very bad part of town which really concerned me. But on a sunny Thursday in August at 1pm it felt safe, was pretty empty and relatively clean (except for some food trash). They have tandem mother/baby swings, a handicap swing, a large play set safe for an able-bodied 3 year old and lots of grass. I would visit again! The pool was surrounded by a chainlink fence and staffed with a lifeguard. Just a few children getting their swimming lessons.

We came with a group of three families who all arrived separately in three RVs...and three separate versions of the same story: rude, flat, and unaccommodating. We also had a prepaid 2-night reservation made for a friend that we needed to cancel. But despite our multiple efforts to call ahead and cancel (NO ANSWER...three different people, various times a day, multiple attempts), she would only refund one night with no explanation as to why we couldn't get refunded for both nights when it was not our fault for not being able to reach their office before actually arriving. Just sad that a beautiful place like this has such a grumpy gatekeeper. Would be quite a different experience with someone who liked their job and working with people.

The amount of lack of consideration for fellow campers is horrendous. There is no one on site to call to ask for reinforcements of the rules. It's currently midnight and I hear people singing across the park. Our neighbors have finally gone to bed or moved to another campsite. The speed of golf carts and those of little kids driving them is crazy. This is a great place if you want to party but if you are looking for quiet peaceful decompression DON'T come here. You'll be even more stressed out.
