The managers treat everyone like family which makes this place unique. They are courteous, professional, yet fun and VERY prompt with requests and suggestions. Note: because of the buildings being very new and privately owned, they are more expensive. However, you do get 9 foot ceilings, lots of room, in-house washers/dryers, central air, and the buildings are all energy efficient (our monthly electric bill hasn't passed $80 and we blast the AC almost all day everyday).

The alternative apartments were either: a) reasonable rent, generic with white walls, white carpeting, walled off Kitchenettes with old appliances b) high rent, well equipped with modern designs, fitness rooms (extra fees), tennis courts and outdoor pools Madison Place features apartments with a modern, open design. The kitchen faces out to the living area and has granite counter tops, new appliances and track lighting. Washer and dryer are tucked away nicely behind a sliding door. A bonus feature is the large storage closet directly across the hall from the apartment. It totally beats having to go to a storage cage in some creepy basement like most places. It's the kind of place where a successful professional would want to live. Madison purposefully lacks the outdoor amenities like a pool and tennis courts in favor of charging less for rent. I am always able to park close to my building with plenty of spots for company. In addition to the great design and reasonable rent, the office team, Jen and Mark, are incredibly good-natured, responsive and customer service oriented. I always leave the office with my questions answered and a smile on my face. Anytime I receive packages during the work day, I find them right outside the door of my second floor apartment. I could easily pick them up at the office, but having the staff bring them right to my place is a welcome luxury. Lastly, the couple times where I needed minor repairs, the maintenance guy, Eddie, completed the work the same day. Parking lots are well cleared during the snow. Essentially, if you want an upscale apartment for a generic apartment rent, with customer service oriented office / maintenance staff, I highly recommend MP in Shrewsbury.

Michelle Hippert is the original person who showed me the apartment and she's had an amazing attitude and attention since the beginning. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable and happy in my apartment. The maintenance staff is exceptional. I love that they are available, friendly, and great at what they do. If I ever need help with anything, they respond right away. (Even on a major holiday when I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft!) The apartment complex itself is fantastic- quiet but close to everything. The building and grounds are top notch and always clean. My apartment is a good size and having my own washer and dryer is a plus. The convenience of having a 24 hour fitness center right at home is a definite benefit. In the warm weather I enjoy my balcony or the beautiful pool area and grills. In the winter months, the convenience of having my car tucked away in a garage is the best. I can't say enough good things about this place. After visiting every apartment complex in the area, I know I made the right choice. The comfort and safety I have here truly makes me feel like I'm living in a luxury hotel.

She was beyond professional, patient and answered every question I had including, "Where's the nearest hospital to the complex?" - a question I've since learned isn't often asked. Upon viewing the complex and meeting the staff, I instantly felt at home. I didn't just need a place to live, I wanted this place to call home. I lived in a one bedroom, one bath for the first year, but quickly outgrew it. I was able to easily move into a two bedroom, two bath on site and had no intentions on moving anytime soon. As luck would have it, I got a promotion to the Big Apple, and had to leave my beautiful apartment behind. If you're looking for an attentive staff, look no further than The Reserve on Salisbury. Krissy, the Property Manager, Kate, the leasing agent, and Dave and Shaun from maintenance are truly some of the best people I've had the pleasure of experiencing while living in an apartment community. I couldn't have asked for better people to know on site. They would always greet me, helped me if I needed anything and were always communicative. I find that so important in a community. The surrounding areas are quiet with plenty of areas to walk around, the grounds are kept beautifully, the neighbors I've encountered are kind... Take a look at this property. You won't regret it! Its sad cause it was once a beautiful place with lovely tenants , many who have been there for years under old ownership. A few years ago a private equity company purchased this and Winn manages it. Now its only $$ signs that interest them. The whole place is dated and worn out. Thin carpet , small original cheap appliances which All need to be replaced but wont be. The maintenance staff will attempt to repair them with parts from other appliances . If you do manage to snag a new appliance it will mean you went weeks without a say washing machine before they replaced it. I saw at least 6 apartments go without air conditioning this past summer while they ordered parts or begged for new ones. It has a little kitchen with chippy granite that gets painted when it chips. My kitchen floor literally had holes in it that were painted to match. That laminate was old and cheap and might cost them a hundred bucks to replace. Its just tired all over. The pool never opened until July cause they hired maintenance men who didnt know how to open or maintain pools. Its took the towns building department to straighten it out. The dog park is gross and never cleaned. The grilling area is a mess and overflowing with trash. Many units have mice. Overall its just not good. They started renting to a new clientele who literally abused all the facilities and nothings ever done about it. One thing you can count on is a rent increase every year.One huge difference is when I moved there , it had an onsite manager and onsite maintenance man. They have neither now and the manager only goes from his car to his office and back and never tours the property or sees what you see as tenants. One bright light is Catherine in the office. So nice but literally her hands are tied. I found another apartment thats newer, nicer and cheaper. No wonder they have so many available apartments. Think twice.

But they bring in a number of people from the waitlist to tour the apartment and property, and then decide to whom they will offer it, though I am not sure of the criteria. I really hope I am chosen. I have never seen an apartment property that was so beautiful and so well built. I don't remember being in a condo that was so beautiful and so well built. It is clear that the owners took great pride and care in developing this property.
