Great food, great beer. Friendly service and laid back atmosphere. We just moved here and this was the first place we tried out. Very good.

We opted for the wings and a couple of beers. Food was ready in a timely manner. My wings were great, but unfortunately, my friend had one that was undercooked, and had red in the center which made her lose her appetite. No, we didn't make a fuss or notify the server. It just wasn't a big deal. We had been out hiking all day, and were hot and thirsty and the beers were cold and delicious, so we just enjoyed our drinks. The patio had a nice vibe and good music, so we drank our beers and enjoyed the atmosphere. Dog friendly Good service Nice patio If you're hankering for a cold brew, come here!

The staff was great, you feel welcome as soon as you set foot in the building. They offer a wide variety of their beer that is produced in-house. I even took home a crowler with me of their Pickle Beer. Yes, Pickle Beer! They also have wine and cocktails, so your friends that don't drink beer won't have an excuse to not come along. The story of my life . Now let's talk about their food: I HAVE TO tell you about their sexy fries. Something so simple, yet so delicious. Good Seasoning is everything! I was also looking forward to trying their burgers with their house blend beef. I had their OG, but I am sure you won't go wrong with any other of their options. Highly recommend this gem in East Texas! (This is only 1.5 hrs from Dallas.)

It was a little busy due to the holiday but we enjoyed the old world like atmosphere bar tavern set up they have. We got a bottle of champagne to have mimosas with our meals. I got the delicious schnitzel Benedict. Loved it but next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. I would have liked the traditional hollandaise. But it was a good twist. The potatoes were yummy. My husband had the schnitzel waffles. he ate the whole plate. So it's a winner. He said we can come back. So I again look forward to exploring more of the menu and having some beers. I mean pivo. Cheers.

What a great brewery & restaurant. Who knew you could experience authentic Czech cuisine and craft…read morebeers just an hour or so away from Austin? The connected hotel is wonderful (there is a separate Yelp listing to review it). How amazing is it to stay at an operating brewery? The old-world European charm and flavor can be felt throughout. An elevated brewery pub, if you will. The decor definitely lends to that vibe. The food is really good and I dare to compare it to food we've had in Germany. I also love that they do a playful fusions of sorts with Texas & Czech foods. For example, the Czexan Potted Beer Cheese has a combo of sausages, peppers, meats, breads, and a cheese spread made with Czech beer. Perfect appetizer for two people and then some. My boyfriend loves the Texan Pocket Schnitzel. It's fried pork filled with jalapeños, ham, and cheese, served with mashed potatoes. I like the classic, authentic version of this. They do a fine job! I also love the Bavarian pretzel. It comes with a couple of different dipping sauces. Incredible beer pours that pair nicely with any of the meal options. We shared a flight that consisted of four different lagers. They also offer whiskey flights, brandy flights, wine flights, and cocktails. We didn't have dessert but I'm interested in the crème brûlée cheesecake next time 'round. Between staying at the hotel and eating at the restaurant, it was truly an experience that made me feel like we were back in Europe. Gotta hit up the beer spa next time too!

Of course there were some beers that we ordered but did not like. However we found a couple that we throughly enjoyed. We even took a couple cans home! The food was amazing! The pretzel was a little inconsistent, crunchy in some areas and super soft in others, but it hit the spot either way. Their garlic fries were definitely garlicky, don't order if you don't like a lot of garlic. The food did not come out together, but we were ok with that. The mushroom burger, grilled cheese, and fish and chips were all delicious! The grilled cheese was even loved by our picky son! The fish was crispy on the outside and so flaky and tender on the inside. The burger may have been frozen, but the mushrooms and Gouda totally made up for that! Good beers, great food, friendly and attentive staff! If we find ourselves in Waco again, we will definitely be stopping by.

Honestly, the only thing I was disappointed by (and the only reason I gave it 3 stars) is the use of ai slop on the menu. Ya'll -- in this day and age, ai slop pictures are only going to hurt you. There are 2 floors for dining and drinking. The architecture outside and the decor inside including the bathroom gives lets say "Speak Easy" vibe from the roaring 20s. The hostest and our server were both very nice and attentive. Thanks to them and to Bankhead for providing them. I had the Mediterranean Chicken and a BrewDaddy Ultra Lite beer. The chicken breast was tender and delightful. The sauce along with the cheese and fresh herbs covering it gives that Mediterranean flavor. There was also a little hummus on the side. The mashed potatoes were soft and creamy. Again, these were quite delicious. The broccoli spears were I think roasted. Put all 3 together and you get an excellent tasty meal. My beer as in the name, was very lite and kind of a Mich Ultra and Bud Lite blend. So kind of like drinking water. I also tried the Low Beams and the Wit Me One More Time. I didn't particularly like either one of them but I would get the Wit Me One More Time again as the name implies. Anyhows, it was a good time and an enjoyable meal! Thank you Bankhead!
