What a great place in the heart of historic downtown Ennis!! So cute with amazing beverages. I ordered the Texas Pecan Latte... amazing!! My husband got the Matcha Lemonade...oh so good! They also have a great selection of teas on their menu. I want to try the Blueberry Hibiscus Tea next time. The Hot Chocolate with steamed milk would be outstanding on a cold day. Lots of parking right in the front so very easy in and out. Service was fantastic with a smile. I am sooo tired of Starbucks so this is a wonderful addition to Ennis. I will make it my go to coffee shop from now on. You absolutely need to check this charming place out!

Loved my drink from sunshine brew! Have been there two times and both times the drinks were perfect! The service was excellent and the barista was so kind! For sure recommend!

Had some good coffee here, lattes are good and the Texas pecan is worth a try - good tacos too! Pro tip: get the spicy sauce!

What pushed me to write this review is this young man, Rooney, I've had serving me twice now. I recently came in this Sunday and the wait to get a table was exceptionally long, so my family and I were already in a sour mood when we sat down. We sat outside at the patio and our server Rooney came along and greeted us quickly! He got us situated immediately and we also noticed that he was also taking care of larger parties inside and outside as well. His recommendations were so helpful and his run down of the menu was greatly appreciated by my husband and daughter. Everything was so fast and speedy with him, but he made us feel extremely welcomed and at home and never rushed us. I've been helped by him before when I came with one of my friends, and the experience never changes. My expectations of Rodeo Goat were always met, but this young man has greatly exceeded every bar!

There is really nice outdoor seating (+ indoor as well.) The service has been friendly and pleasant every time I have been there. They also offer a gluten free bun, which is pretty good. I will say that there is a bird problem with the outdoor seating, as lots of crows are constantly swooping around. Also, if you are NOT wanting a burger, the only other option is a salad or fries, but as long as you're in a meat-mood, this place is the best!

Best hamburger in my 68 years of burger expertise. Period. Bar none. Waitress said it used to be a temporary burger but the demand was so high that they made it permanent. I see why. I could only eat 1/2 of it. That's ok. It will make a tremendous breakfast in the morning. Kudos to the waitress. I wish I can remember her name. Kudos to the chef as well. She recommended that I swap the American cheese with the habanero cheese. If there's a better burger out there I've not had it.n PS: I was so impressed that I sent a separate compliment to them via email. If you haven't tried it, what are you waiting for?

Nonetheless, I truly do feel that Rodeo Goat does it differently. Came here after work with some friends. There's quite an assortment of creative options. I opted for the Hot Bastard. To make it even more interesting, I got it with the Impossible Patty (per recommendation). Now, upon first bite, there's not an immediate heat. However, it slowly creeps up. It creeps up to the point where you do find yourself looking for a glass of water or just anything to help settle the heat. That's what I loved the most about this burger. Maybe it was the fresno peppers. Maybe it was the habanero cheddar. Whatever it was, I loved it. Now, in terms of the patty, I thought it was great quality. I haven't tried their beef patties to use as a comparison but I still enjoyed the burger very much with the impossible patty. Only qualm about it was that the patty did give way about halfway through. Though, I find that's on par with a good messy burger. Overall, would come again, especially with the immense variety. The next time, I will definitely look to try the Radio Goat - every purchase supports KERA, the local NPR station!

The atmosphere was casual and up beat. All the burgers and loaded fries were cooked to perfection. One of our friends had the Bloody Mary and she seemed to enjoy it. There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.

I have came here with family and friends visiting, I have ordered this for takeout countless times. Rodeo Goat is where it's at I'll be talking about the 2 most recent burgers I tried - The brisket beef attacked my arteries in the best way - the brisket melts in your mouth (overshadows the beef though). This is the meatiest burger I've ever had from here. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so the sugar bomb is the most frequently ordered burger for me (maybe 10+ times?). I really enjoy the arugula mixed in with grilled peaches, a bit of jam and the party itself. I love this burger and I hope it never leaves the menu. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive - points to them!

I really do, but with so many nice or better burger options available,…read moreI'm just going to say I will choose somewhere that offers medium rare burgers or hits high on the napkins quotient (as in, how messy and greasy it - the more, the better). Rodeo Goat seems more of a schtick theme. We started with the "Steaming Pile," which is basically characterized as bacon-cheese tots with additional goat cheese & a sunny side up egg. The egg was properly cooked. The portion was small for $10. It's really not a shareable size for more than two light eaters. There was zero hint of truffle oil. The Cowboy Cobb salad was a healthy portion, and all was good except for two things: the "jalapeño croutons" were not crispy in any way - they were like what would happen if a mushy hush puppy and tempura batter had a love child and it wrapped itself around an uncivilized jalapeño trying to socially climb. The second was that the burger patty had no cheese (why bother?) & I know it was an add-on. I ordered the Inspector Clousseau. Not much of a smash on the over-cooked patties. And, yes, I know what to expect from smash burger, but again, these patties were two the thickness of anything I've ever seen called a smash burger. More importantly, the pan sauce poured over the entire plate was cold and congealed. Generally, the flavor was okay. The service was nice, but at premium prices, I'm looking for elevated effort from the kitchen.
